Very professional, great communication and honest. Recommend without hesitation A+ Tech knew…read morewhat he was doing and resolved the problems

I was connected with Top Notch Appliance service as they were the local contractor scheduled on…read morebehalf of Bodewell - the warranty service provider for my dishwasher. My dishwasher was only about 9 days old (purchased late Febrruary) when one of the springs on the door broke and the door no longer sealed which resulted in the dishwasher leaking. The Top Notch team came out on March 18th to assess the issue and determine the root cause which they said was the broken spring/door hinge. This was replaced under standard warranty and the technician left but told me if it was still leaking that they would need to look at the door. I ran a full cycle that evening and it leaked again so I called their number back and left a voicemail. A week went by and I had no follow up regarding someone coming back so I called again. I was told they "missed" the voicemail but would get right back to me. Another 2 weeks passed and they had someone come out to replace the whole front door panel. During that replacement, the technician damaged the brand new door and left dents in it. He told me that if the issue did not get resolved that I needed to let them know and they would put in for a new dishwasher replacement with the manufacturer, but if the issue was resolved that they would still need to replace the door as they left me with a dented door panel. While the major leak was resolved, it was still not sealing correctly on one side of the dishwasher as I was still getting water pooling at the top and dripping out on my dishwasher and the seal on the side was letting all sorts of particles surround the side whereas the other side of the dishwasher was spotless. I contacted their team back and received a voicemail again so I left a voicemail letting them know the status and requesting the replacement. I then called weekly for the next 6 weeks trying to get an update, leaving voicemails each time as no live human ever picked up. I started getting suspicious so I called them from a different phone number and a live person answered which proved my suspicion that they were just ignoring me. During that phone call they told me they had passed everything to the manufacturer and sent the manufacturer an email, so I requested they forward the email to me and provide me with the case number for the manufacturer. I never received the email they told me they would send and when I called the manufacturer with the case number they told me that they never received a replacement device request and the ticket was closed. I had to open a brand new ticket with the manufacturer and they had to send a different technician out to both look at the door with Top Notch Appliance left damaged as well as assess what the issue was with the dishwasher as they are unable to re-open old tickets. The manufacturer scheduled a different company to come take a look which happened today (July 7th) and they informed me that cosmetic issues such as the door are not covered by the manufacturer and that it needed to be handled with Top Notch - but they would work on the other issue. The overall communication from this company was terrible. They ghosted and ignored my voicemails, then lied to me on the phone. They never finished the service that they were contracted to do, and left me with a dishwasher that was still not working correctly, and had damage that they themselves caused. They did not even report all of their work back to the manufacturer. Their overall sheer incompetence has left me without a correctly functioning dishwasher and a damaged one for months. I would not recommend anyone do business with this company.

Super fast, fair price, and even fixed a few other things on the fridge while they were here…read more Thanks Nick!

I'm writing this review to share my experience with Woodland Appliances, who have a few five-star…read moreratings but didn't live up to that standard for me. My Maytag washer showed an FO3/E01 error, which typically points to a pressure sensor or pump issue. When Woodland Appliances arrived, they spent less than 15 minutes diagnosing and insisted the problem was the inlet valve. They quoted me $400 to replace a $150 part and refused to consider any other cause despite my concerns. I ended up replacing the inlet valve myself, and the error persisted. Eventually, I replaced the pump and cleaned out the pump filter--something the technician should have done initially. The filter was full of debris and clearly a major factor. I also replaced the pressure sensor, and only then did the machine work correctly. In short, Woodland Appliances misdiagnosed the issue, tried to upsell me on the most expensive fix first, and neglected basic maintenance steps like cleaning the pump filter. For anyone with a Maytag washer getting an FO3/E01 error, you'll likely need to clean the pump filter and consider the pump or pressure sensor--not just the inlet valve. Also, remember to run the diagnostic steps to clear codes properly. Overall, I was disappointed with their service and cannot recommend them based on this experience.

Called for the washing machine repair. I wanted to buy a new one, but since we urgently needed to get it back working for the business, decided to repair. It was a huge mistake. Found this place from the nearest service listed on LG website, so I called without looking up the review. I really wish I looked up the review before contacting them. The technician (Rabbee) came for the diagnostic and gave an invoice for the repair parts and labor. He came next day and replaced the parts. He ran the machine for a few minutes and said it was working. I immediately paid the full amount. But when I tried to use it after he left, the water flooded. Not to my surprise, until technician's 7th visit, the issue has been not resolved and what is worse that each time they told me I need to replace additional parts. When things were getting frustrating, the office person (Monica) and the technician keep changing their words. They speak words to buy time and will not take any responsibility for the unfulfilled words. Technician was late on several appointments (although he had 3-hour period) and when I complained about this, he said "what is a big deal since you are just waiting for me seating around?" What kind of joke is this? They are trying their best to avoid refunds and don't care about machine running back to normal condition. Technician literally told me that. I have so much to say. Deceptive and unprofessional service. Please avoid. I wasted 2 weeks of my time and money (more than half of the new washing machine). They will not refund any money since the technician said it is in working condition, which is not true. *Update: Also, when I expressed my intention to visit their office, Monica told me that their office in Alexandria is not operational.

I called several places recommended by LG as authorized technicians and Vertex had the best price. I was amazingly pleased at their customer service...and I can be a stickler at times. Monica was quick to answer all my questions and give me a quote. They even had same day appointments. She is a logistical whiz, making sure she can coordinate times when techs could be in my area. Why is this important? 1) Techs keep within their time frame because they are close-by and not stuck in traffic. You KNOW DC/NoVA traffic! 2) They save gas, keep prices low. 3) We save the environment from unnecessary emissions. A text and email came in to confirm the appointment. Another text came in to let me know the technician was on the way. AND the technician Rabbee called to let me know he had arrived at the building. This was after I relayed specific parking instructions to Monica. Rabbee checked out LG and diagnosed the problem quickly. He had to come back with the right part and offered to come back the very next day. He even drained the machine for me so that the water wouldn't stagnate. Then he also gave me the option of taking my credit card now or to call the office to process. That's service! Vertex made it so easy! The service call fee is under $100 and is applied to the fix if you go with them. I will update when the machine is fixed.
