Had a nice experience with Ayoub Carpet Service. By far, the best cleaning we have had so far having two teenage boys, two corgi's, and a cat. Our upstairs carpet is in a high traffic area. My only qualm is the negotiating before the carpet service was initiated within our home. I was given an estimate over the phone of $840 which included the carpet cleaning and deodorizer for the entire upstairs. I 100% understand this was only an estimate. Once the gentlemen from Ayoub were in my home, including their $20 off every $100 you spend, their estimate came out to just under $1200 out-the-door. The gentlemen from Ayoub were very nice and I actually plan on having them back within a year for an annual maintenance. After being quoted just under $1200 which included their $20 off every $100 you spend, I told them I do not do well with people coming into my home running up the price once they're in the door. We trimmed some items off and was able to get it down to $788 which included deodorizer in the hallway only. Overall, a very nice experience and I 100% recommend this company. They will not dissapoint - job well done! The lady over they phone who initiated the estimate did a nice job explaining everything and answered all of my questions. Ayoub deserved more than 5 stars on this rug. I brought in a front door entry rug we bought for $100 10 years ago and had used all the time but never thought to get it cleaned. 10 years of use . It still looked fine but the edges were heavily frayed and the colors were dull. And cleaning was cheaper than replacement. I picked it up a week later and WOW! It looks fantastic! Like new!! The quoted price was reasonable. The scheduling process easy. The cleaners did get a number of spots out of our carpet that a previous Carpet Cleaning company did not. What they didn't do was follow our instructions regarding pets in the house and they also told us they had gotten a stain out when in fact they had not. I went back behind the cleaners and did a better job of removing it myself. And in addition, there was a new stain that definitely wasn't on my steps that morning. I also had to clean that myself. But what really upset us was: the cleaner made rude remarks about our dog AND did not follow instructions about letting us know before they went into our bedroom to clean. This resulted in our cat getting out of the house. The cleaner then made snide remarks about that. The Carpet Cleaning was good in most rooms and the price was good. After I wrote my Yelp review, Ayoub's owner personally reached out to me to ask if they could come back and better treat the filtration lines and pink stain. The person who did the retreatment (Jay Rayan) did a fabulous job - the filtration lines were completely gone, so much so that you wouldn't believe that this was a basement room, and even the pink stain was significantly lightened. We used Ayub to clean an area rug. The service took longer than promised - the rug was picked up on 8/24 and I got an email from them on 10/14 asking to call to schedule delivery. So almost two months total. I didn't mind much but it was long. My main issue is that the rug was returned refreshed but with a visible stain on it. I did not see the stain before the service. It might have been there or it might not have been there. But no one ever contacted me about it so this was unpleasant surprise. For the $300 that I paid I would expect this taken care of somehow - rug should have been inspected for stains and treated appropriately. In any case I should have been informed of the stain and not surprised by it when I unrolled the rug in my family room. I would not use their service again. read more

Since I pass Ayoub's Chantilly location all the time , I decided to take it there. They were very professional throughout the process. Let's say it snowed four feet outside over four days, and everything is absolutely shut in Arlington. No food in grocery stores, no liquor in bars. Lets say a person has been in a sad drunken stupor inflicted with heavy cabin fever for three of those four days, and is attempting to cook and eat spaghetti. The spaghetti falls on the floor to floor carpet in this rented apartment. Now instead of wiping it with water or even just letting it stay until some Resolve could be purchased at a later date, the individual spills bleach on it and goes to bed. Now there's a real problem. The bleach has turned the patch bright purple, and it's beginning to shed fibers. Actually in the next week, there's a completely bald patch in the middle of the carpet. Great! After fretting for six months, finally a call is placed to Ayub Carpet Service. Some finger biting later, they patched that carpet for a hundred bucks. A hundred bucks! So the individual didn't have to shell out four hundred (or whatever the management company would extort for carpet replacement). We'll leave this at that. read more

I chose Ayoub based on the reviews and my first impression walking into their store on Rte 50 in Chantilly. All in all, I could not have asked for a better customer experience, from Ryan the salesman, to the installers Marbrisio, Johnny, and Jose. The installers were very respectful of our house and worked their hind ends off to install all the carpet in 1 day. Ryan called me halfway through the day to check up on the work and to see if everything was going as planned. That simple act is called professionalism and is sorely missed now-a-days. Great service, fair prices, and very nice job. I wanted to get our oriental carpet cleaned and repaired, and so I got some prices from several different places. Ayoub was right in line with the others on price, though there was another place that would have been cheaper had we been willing to deliver the rug to their plant. We didn't really want to do that, so that discount was immaterial. Ayoub worked with me on scheduling a pickup that was very convenient. The two guys who showed up were friendly and professional, and gave me some good information about how much the repairs to the torn fringe corners would be. He noticed we had no pad under the rug, and had no trouble talking me into buying a rug pad -- thankfully, I had already done research on rug pads, and knew the one he was offering me was high quality and an excellent price. Easy sale :-) The cleaning took a little less than a week, and the repair took only a few days. For the return of the rug, once again it was at my convenience. The friendly folks who brought back the rug placed the pad and the carpet where I wanted them, and were pleased that we were pleased. I was beginning to think that there weren't any places left that took pride in their work and were good to their customers. But ACS has restored some of my faith in local business! read more

All obvious stains are gone and the areas we thought were unstained literally changed color...they're now a few shades brighter. Clean, fresh and smells new. Just know, you get what you pay for...sure Stanley, Sears and others offering cleaning services are cheaper, but they've also been hammered on reviews. We paid $549 for 1,000 sqft. I've used Ayoub several times for my Tibetan rugs, always with excellent results. They're not inexpensive, but this is a case of getting what you paid for. Although they offer dropoff/pickup service (way convenient), if you have any concerns about entrusting your expensive rug to someone, I'd encourage you to visit their Chantilly facility. Yes, it's at the end of civilization, but the facility is so clean and organized and the staff so pleasant and competent, you will have no qualms about handing over the rug your Grandpa brought back from (insert name of exotic locale here). This was the first time I'd used them for carpet cleaning services. Once again, completely professional and courteous service. They showed up on time, and the crew leader's name is Elvis. What's not to like - Elvis is in the house! They did a great job cleaning our carpets - moving furniture appropriately and as needed - leaving everything just perfect, looking and smelling great. I am sensitive to overly-scented products and was pleasantly surprised that their products left my basement smelling clean & fresh, but not perfumed or chemical-y. Since they were there, I also splurged and had the kitchen tile/grout cleaned and sealed. The truck-mounted cleaning equipment must have really soaked the grout, because it took a long time to dry. But when it did - wow. I like to think we do a pretty good job cleaning our kitchen floor, but apparently we don't. Hoping that the sealant will help keep the grout looking this good. No problem using the yelp voucher - the $100 savings was much appreciated! read more
