The Pad Ki Mao, Thai Fried Rice, Red curry, and Green curry, were just amazing! The flavors are so unique and delicious, we highly recommend! The staff was also super nice and accommodating! Super amazing ambiance, music was great. Just beware of the homeless population outside.

I ordered takeout as I was craving Thai and wanted to try something different, the interior was decorated in a fun vibe. I ordered the garlic chicken and the pad khee mao with beef. The service was friendly and the garlic chicken was good with just the right amount of breading. The beef was a little tough and there was a $4 up charge for beef. Overall the prices were expensive considering the portions and we spent almost $70 with tip on lunch without any drinks.

    Pad See Ewe

Pretty pricy for what it is. Standard fare, the pad see ew was fine. I actually liked the curry flight we got as an app maybe a bit more although the roti was really greasy. Mainly it's the pricy to taste ratio that can't really justify it for me.

Pretty decent Thai place in Pike Street with ample seating. Dropped in to grab quick dinner with a friend and we ordered Pad Kee Mau and their house special noodles. Pad Kee Mau tasted so good, House noodles weren't that great. I'd like to give it another try sometime to check out other dishes.

    Pad thai with hair

Found this hair when I was basically done. And pad thai didn't taste like pad thai - it was just soaked in this weird sweet sauce that was too sweet. Worst "pad thai" I've ever had

    Pad see ew with tofu

Came with a walk-in party of 5 around 8pm on a Sunday night. It was a little busy but the staff were happy to accommodate us and set up a table for 5. Service was friendly and fast. I ordered pad see ew with tofu, with a spice level of 2/5. It was a good combo of flavor and quantity, with enough leftover to take home for lunch the next day. My entree came out to about $20 after tax and tip, which I consider a little high for just one vegetarian entree. But the size of the dish basically made up for it. Would recommend Ayutthaya to anyone looking for a casual sit-down Thai dinner.

This is my go-to Thai spot in Cap Hill! I've been coming here for years now and always satisfied with the food here. Their Crab fried rice is a highlight for me! This time around, we came in for a weekday dinner and found a spot easily. Our server was really helpful with curry and noodle recommendations, since we were feeling a little indecisive. We ended ordering the Panang curry and Rad nah noodles. Both were great! The Panang curry was rich and excellent over a bowl of white rice. The Rad Nah was came with plenty of veggies and noodles and tasted amazing, although there was just a bit more sauce than what I usually prefer. Overall, had a great time as expected from a CapHill staple!

Coconut Chicken and Crab Fried Rice in back ground

This was the first place I had Thai food over 25 years ago. A friend and I were going to go to Taku but he forgot his ID. So when I saw this place was still open I suggested it. I used to work on the hill and this was a regular of the gang I worked with my go to was their phad see ew. On this visit I decided to try their COCONUT CHICKEN it was listed as one of the specialties. I had grabbed an ice cream before cause I had time to waste before meeting my friend so I knew I wouldn't eat my entire meal and wanted something I knew would reheat well. Also my friend got the crab fried rice so I wanted to get something comparable in price. Food was still delicious and comforting. Service was friendly and food came out quickly. It was nice to see this family owned restaurant was still around. The Seahawk game was on this Thursday and it obvious the owners were fans in their jerseys and the game on in the bar. Was nice to go back and visit the place I had my first experience with Thai food.

    Larb, ground chicken.
    Augustin R.

I got the Larb, with ground chicken. Usually going to Thai restaurants I opt for the ever faithful pad Thai or pad see ew, but I recognized the name larb so I tried it and it was delicious. It had a very nice refreshing, citrusy, and tangy tamarind taste. If I could drink the vinaigrette it was served in I would. I got a level 3 spice, which I didn't think was too spicy, but my friend got the fish curry and he was sweating heavily, so maybe ask about how intense the spice is if you're not someone who manages it well. I think my only complaint with the dish was the plating. The plate was maybe a little too small for the serving size, or it could be in a mess and I don't have decent eating habits. It was also served with an almost half wedge of cabbage. I believe this was meant to be be peeled leaf by leaf, but the cabbage size was a little awkward and didn't work that well as a serving vessel. But overall very delicious and would definitely recommend.

Loved this Thai spot in Cap Hill. I got the peanut noodles with tofu and it was creamy and delicious. Their cocktails were refreshing and yummy. Quick service in the middle of the day for lunch. I would definitely come back to this spot.

Corner of Pike and Harvard in Capitol Hill.
    Maureen M.

Still wonderful. Excellent thai, great service (Boon is wonderful) and such Seattle history. They say Capitol Hill is experiencing an epidemic of frat boys and entitled young couples, but the today's view from the corner window table of Ayuttahaya showed the soul of the neighborhood to be intact.

Service was nice and it had an inviting interior, but there are better Thai food options in the area.

We started with a Lilikoi Margarita and Ginger Martini as well as Fresh Garden Rolls, which were quite generous in size (4 large pieces) and very good. Drinks were very good! We enjoyed Pad Thai and Pad Kee Mao. Pad Thai is a staple and was good, but if you want something that has a ton of flavor and a nice mix of noodles and veggies, check out their drunken noodle dish Pad Kee Mao. Appreciate you can customize heat level as well. Overall the vibe in this place is awesome! We had hoped to sit outside, but didn't make reservations, so were sat in the back dining area. It was very hot back there - not sure that is an everyday type thing, but next time I go I would wait for a different part of the restaurant than sit there. Service was super quick and attentive!

They have locations both in Downtown Seattle and Greenlake, but I have only been to their Downtown Seattle location which has a beautiful view of the Puget Sound. The atmosphere is dark, trendy, and modern- perfect for a date night or nice evening out. While they are a white table cloth, sit-down restaurant, you can dress casually or dress up a bit - both are completely acceptable. This most recent visit I ordered the COCONUT PANANG CURRY with chicken ($25.95) and my friend ordered her favorite dish, SALMON GARLIC FRIED RICE ($28.95). On a past visit, I've had their CLAY POT SHRIMP & GLASS NOODLES (KOONG OB WOONSEN) ($27.95) which was absolutely fantastic and has had me hooked on Pad Woonsen ever since! I saw the COCONUT PANANG CURRY recently in my Instagram feed and knew I had to get it. It is served in a whole coconut (yes a real, fresh coconut!) and comes with a champagne flute of fresh coconut juice from the coconut they hollowed out and a side of Jasmine rice. The curry was rich, flavorful, and full of Thai basil and peppers. The coconut juice was light and refreshing and a great contrast to the thick curry. The SALMON GARLIC FRIED RICE (which I've sampled before), is gigantic, aromatic, and served with a giant grilled garlic butter fillet of salmon on top. The salmon is extremely moist, oily, and bursting with flavor. The rice is fragrant and has garlic paste, red bell pepper, carrots, and green onion. If you're looking for a tasty and protein-packed meal, this is the dish! Parking is honestly tough in this area as it's located on 1st. They have limited street parking and a few paid parking garage options around. I recommend light railing or Ubering here if you're not already in the downtown Seattle area. Service is always great and we always get our food quickly, no matter how crowded they are. The staff also take the time to check up on your table during your meal. My boyfriend thought the sauce that came with the calamari was too spicy for his liking but for me it was super sweet and paired perfectly with the calamari. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and we were looking forward to the bold flavors we've come to love. The visit started off a bit oddly. The front desk server, Tar, asked to see my wife's ID--even though she's 36 years old and we weren't seated in the bar area. It felt inconsistent, especially since younger guests nearby weren't asked, and it's something we've never experienced at their other locations. Unfortunately, moments like that made us feel singled out, and honestly it sometimes feels like they tend to pick on Asians, whether intentional or not. That feeling alone made the experience uncomfortable and will likely make this our last visit to this location. That said, the table service was excellent. Moo took great care of us, and Cece from the bar was attentive and kept our water filled throughout the meal. Unfortunately, there were a few moments that took away from the experience. While I was taking photos of our dishes, a young staff member alongside Tar appeared to be giggling and mocking me, which made things uncomfortable. It may not have been intentional, but it didn't feel professional and only added to the awkward atmosphere we already felt. Food-wise, there were some inconsistencies. The chicken didn't taste as good as we remember, and several plates had visible fingerprints, which was off-putting. The galvanized metal plates also gave off a slightly unrefined feel--more like cafeteria-style serving ware. Additionally, the sticky rice, which is usually presented in a traditional bamboo basket, was served in a Ziploc bag, which felt like a downgrade in presentation. On a positive note, the papaya salad and pad Thai were still very good and delivered the flavors we expect. We'll continue supporting Isarn, but we'll likely return to the Kirkland or Lynnwood locations next time. Sadly, after this experience, this Queen Anne visit will probably be our last.
