***BEWARE*** I had a terrible experience with AZ Appliances. I paid them a deposit to repair my LG refrigerator. They never completed the work. After months of attempts to resolve this problem with Lewis Travers, the owner, I was met with excuses, delays, and ultimately no resolution. I left Lewis voice-mail messages, but he did not return my calls. I then attempted to find his place of business so I could meet with him to get back my money. When I went to the address shown on his webpage, I was unable to find his place of business. I was advised by another appliance company that Lewis may work out of his truck. I subsequently filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. BBB's multiple attempts to communicate with Lewis were unsuccessful. I called the company and they sent a repair tech. Service and diagnosis was good I paid the service call fee. I called the company and requested a letter explaing the diagnosis to send to my home warranty company. Everytime I called the customner service rep said they would send, I never recieved and when I called back the said they could not figure out how to send it. I offered to pick it up and they would not allow that. I eventualy gave up and had to purchase a new refrigerator becuase I could not send letter to my home warranty compay for coverage. I tried to use them a second time and stated I needed an afternoon apointment the day they had a tech avaialable as I had an eye doctor appointment. I waited two weeks for service, the evening before my appointment the automated system called and said my apoinment was in the mornig. I called and ended up having to reschedule because they did not have afternoon available as promised. Two weeks later I recieved several notifications to confirm appointment. In the eveing I recieved a confifmation stating my appointment was in afternoon after confirmed at time of reschedule I needed a morniing. I decided to keep as I had no schedule conflict. I then received an email to confirm and it stated if I didnt confirm they would not come to my home. I thought this was odd as I had already confirmed multiple times. Once confirming I recieved an email with a link to track the tech. He had 15 appoinments and I was number 12 and my time was from 12:oo-3:00 pm. At 2:36 pm day of my appoinment he just finished appointment 7 and I was 12 on his list. I waited until 3:45 and still a no show or contact. Now keep in mind of all the notifications I had to confirm I would be home or they would not show up but yet they could not behave the courtesy to let me know they would be late. I had to leave to run errands. At 4:07 pm the tech called and was annoyed that I was not home. Not Even any appoligy for being late. THIS COMPANY HAS HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND WOULD NEVER RECCOMEND OR CALL THEM AGAIN... read more

Luis was able to repair our dryer when he came to diagnose the problem . He came in the window of time for the appointment and fixed the problem ASAP! I highly recommend him to all who need trait work! read more

I called them 2 weeks ago. Luis came out and I have yet to hear from him. No diagnosis or estimate. Meanwhile I have no refrigerator.

Poor, poor, poor, communication. My LG washer's motor went kaput. I called AZ Appliance Service, and got through immediately. The six year old motor was still under manufacturer's warranty, but I did state that I got rid of the sales receipt (my bad). Brian said he'd look into it. A day later I received a canned message saying a repairman will come the following day. I called back to make sure with Brian that it was a warranty call. He said "no". Brian then told me he would contact LG and find out if they'd honor the warranty. I haven't heard from him in over a week, even after calling a third time. Brian, if you can't confirm that LG will cover it, then get back to me so I can arrange to purchase a new motor. Instead, you lost a sale and a potential long term customer. the owner came out and repaired our stove, and the service fee sounded reasonable, but then he charged a huge price for a coon spark igniter. I looked it up and found them for $31. and he charged us over $200. just for the part. He's a rip off in my opinion. Wouldn't call us back either. read more

Filed claim on Oct. 15, 2023 with my home warranty company. AZ Appliance Service was quick to diagnose the issue with my Samsung ice maker, but it went downhill from there. I was told that warranty company denied claim so I told them to order icemaker, I would pay and collect later from warranty company . I called warranty company and told by them that they could never reach AZ Appliance Service ( I have trouble reaching them also, leave messages to call me and never receive call backs) The last I spoke with Service Co., I was told that the warranty company was sending a different repair co. Louis came to fix a Samsung microwave and diagnosed it to be the transformer. Waited for the transformer to come in and Lewis came back out to change the transformer. He changed the part and said the microwave was working and collected $561.00 for the repair. Soon after he left we tried the microwave and it was still not heating, We called to inform them that the microwave was still not working and Lewis came back out and determined that the diode was bad and had to order the part. He came back out and changed the diode and the microwave seemed to be working. After a short amount of time the microwave stopped heating again and we called to get Lewis back out there. He came back out and determined that the transformer was bad again and had to order one. He never called or came back out and after numerous calls to his service number for a call back he never called. It has been over a month now and we still have an inoperative microwave. I have never experienced anything like this and it is my opinion that Lewis is a fraudulent business owner who works out of his truck and has a habit of ripping customers off. I contacted AZ Appliance Service 5 weeks ago and this Nov 14, 2022. I talk to him on the phone. He decided what I needed over the phone, never came to my house. I waited a week, never heard from him, never answered my calls. When I finally got ahold of him, He said that the parts came in, but were damaged. I again waited and I have not heard from him since. I found his address, and found it to be a mailbox at the UPS store. I believe this to be a one man operation. BE WARE! read more

First time using AZ Appliance Service and highly recommend them. Their tech Lewis was on time and able to service our broken freezer. Since we live in the Dewey-Humboldt area, it is difficult to find an appliance repair service that will come this far. The first 2 places we called were unable to help us because of our location. I called AZ Appliance and like everyone else, they are busy, but they came as soon as they said they would. On time, as promised. They were prompt and Louis was honest and straightforward with me. Parts nationwide are hard to get, due to the pandemic. Yet his assistant Teresa searched nationwide and located the part that was needed all the way in Alabama. They were in and out in 15 minutes to replace an igniter in my double oven. So glad I called them for next day service.

We've been waiting ONE MONTH to get our refrigerator and stove repaired. This company does not follow through. They delayed in submitting the repairs for approval to the home warranty company; they were going to contact me about when the parts would arrive and never did and we have no clue when our appliances will be repaired. This also will be the 4th time in the last year that they have repaired our refrigerator for the same problem. I would strongly recommend using another company. read more

My washing machine would NOT turn on. We checked plug and circuit breaker and all was fine with them. I called AZ Appliance to request an appmt. (Recommended by LG) and talked with Theresa. SHE IS WONDERFUL. She asked if we had unplugged the machine for 10 minutes and then plugged it back in. I thought we had but apparently we did not leave it unplugged for a few minutes. After doing so...THE MACHINE IS WORKING AGAIN. We did have a power surge the other night and I guess that is what caused it. Theresa saved us many $$$...at the cost of their service call. read more

I called home warranty to get my Dryer fixed March 5th, AZ Appliance did not come until a Week 1/2 later. Paid my $85.00. It is going on 3 1/2 weeks now and dryer still not fixed. Using excuse of parts. I don't know where they get there parts but when I called a parts company they said they could get me the parts in 3 days to my house. I think they just do not want to fix dryer because it is a Home Warranty job. I did not even want to give thin one star. They do not even contact you back when you call them. read more

We just purchased a home and the washer and dryer were left with the home. The washer's seal was bad and leaked on our floor. My husband called these guys and they were out the next day! The repair guy couldn't find the model of the our Whirlpool washer for the part, so had to do some research. He ordered the part needed, was back out a couple day later to install it and told us how to maintain the washer for optimal use. Even after miscommunication between myself and my husband, the owner went above and beyond and called us back to ensure we fully understood what the issue was with our washer and we were both satisfied with the service. Our bottom freezer stopped working on our refrigerator on the day prior to New Year's Eve morning (Dec. 30). Our fridge was really not keeping very cool either. We called around but no answers due to the holiday. We called AZ Appliances on Monday (Jan 4), made an appointment for Wed (Jan 6) between 11-2 which was the soonest appt. available, understandable. My husband called to verify the appt. that morning and they did not have our appt. on the books the gal (Theresa) said, even though she remembers speaking with my husband. I called then and spoke with Theresa. She said the tech was right around the corner from us and we were next on the schedule. The technician never called, never showed up, there was no communication what-so-ever. I called, at 4pm to find out what happened. I was told there was an emergency, I was told the technician was now in Chino and would not be coming to my home. I was also told there was no guarantee he could make it out the next day either. Imagine our frustration, we have been out of a fridge for one week which isn't AZ Appliances' fault. What is their fault however is their lack of communication and the deceitful stories they spun (which were plentiful). Thursday (Jan 7) they called three times to ask why we cancelled our appointment. What? We didn't cancel our appointment, we have been waiting since Monday for you to come out. AZ Appliance called again yesterday (Jan 12) and today wanting to schedule our service call. It's too late, we bought a new fridge. We were tired of waiting for you to get your story straight. And by the way, they stated they only have one technician, who is the owner of the company. I feel this is a terrible way to run a business but hey, it's not my business to run. I called Az Appliance service to fix my elderly moms dishwasher since I lived 2 hours away and couldn't look at it. They came out on time and discovered that she accidental hit the child proof button on it keeping it from working. They reset it and didn't charge for the visit which was amazing and unexpected but appreciated. It was also during the Cororavirus so they work a mask and gloves but also asked her if she needed any help with anything else since she was alone. This really showed the great caring and heart of the employee and company. They are the best! read more
