Chicken Shawarma Roll Up, Side Hummus, Side Baba Ghanoush, Side Grape leaves (3 Pieces)

I really enjoyed my dinner in Azama Grill. Being Arab, I am very critical of Arab food, and it has been rare that I've found good authentic food from my culture in Boston - but this place was great. Everything was made fresh and tasted delicious - the shawarma was incredible, and the sides were also bursting with flavor. The hummus and baba ganoush really tasted like they were authentic and from back home. The place is very small and has a fast food vibe, but it's comfy. The server was so lovely - she was very sweet, and she was also the person who made us the food - so a huge shoutout to her, she was awesome. I really enjoyed Amaza Grill, and I'd return again!

Updating my review because I had the chicken shawarma and lamb shawarma plate and this place is amazing! The meat is perfectly cooked -- very flavorful without having a raw gamey taste other places often have. Service is solid. I can attest this is definitely one of Boston's hidden treasures and entire menu is Halal. Can confirm there is sitting area -- definitely casual. Will be back very soon, I want to try other parts of their menu.

Had a takeout of their beef kabob rice plate. The kabobs were good, just a little bitter from the chars on the side. But it's good. Their fries were okay but their toum sauce was brilliant! The rice was literally 40 percent cooked. :( I had a small hair in my hummus side (I look forward to this the most :( )

Came here after a late night out with friends. The chicken is shawarma and hummus hit the spot!! I was irritated because I lost my jacket tag, but I found this shop to wait in and it was brightened my mood! Pita is crispy and shawarma is super tasty!! Would definitely come back

Such a good place to get a shawarma roll up. I know this place for over 8 years now. The taste of the food never changed. It is still the same rich flavor that they always use. I just became their regular again. I stop by 2-3 times a week. I would recommend you getting the baklava. It will melt in your mouth. The kebab dinner is great as well. The only negative experience you may have is that there isn't a private parking lot (there is one but it belongs to the hardware store next door. You can use it at your own risk). It's street parking only. Daniel K

And it's a big one....the young (person/ lady) I spoke with today was SO SWEET I think she gave me a cavity!!!! Seriously though I was frantic about something and she was calm, cool, collected and so competent the MINOR issue was quickly resolved. Thank you so much! Onto the food I primarily eat pescatarian, the chickpea tuna salad and buffaltarian mix and my all time fav the Thai peanut salad with extra, extra, EXTRA veggies (extra tofu and edamame too) and all the glorious sauce they can add. I have some great skills but not time management. There have been days that the Nutty Professor (breakfast is with cold brew, lunch with oat milk) and the Grasshopper with hemp protein and matcha have been the only thing to get me through. And they taste like DESSERT. Truly decadent and yummy. I am one of those folks who likes sweets but if I have it without some protein and fat, it just makes me queasy. Like I will eat a piece of cake with ice cream and think "YES" and 10 minutes later think "oh no, I gotta lay down" Sometime I get 4 shakes at once, drink 1 for breakfast, 1 for lunch freeze the other two. When I work from home I mix them a couple times while freezing. Then I eat them and they are kinda like soft serve.

Friendly and helpful staff. I rate 4.5, but will give 5 as no intermediate option. Improvements would mainly be timing of different courses delivered at table (was fast, but more time between mezzo and mains would be better). I believe that this small business has even greater potential.

However being in…read morethe suburbs of Boston, it gave me the opportunity to try other cuisines, and I was excited to see this authentic Turkish restaurant not far from my hotel. Ironically, I found this place when I was looking up ice cream. They serve authentic Turkish ice cream, and it's been something I've been wanting to try. In addition to the ice cream, I ordered Manti (Turkish dumplings) and Uludag soda (which they say is a Turkish ginger ale). I loooooooooved the Manti. While the dumplings were filled with meat, the dish overall felt light since each dumpling is like the size of a quarter. The dumplings had a nice chew, and the sauces made the dish rich yet creamy. The Uludag soda was definitely much lighter than a ginger ale. Tasted like a light citrusy drink, and it's less sweet than American sodas. The ice cream had a nice pull and chew, although it didn't look as stretchy as Turkish ice creams I've seen. Nice amount of pistachio flavor throughout. I came on a weekday lunch, so there was ample seating inside. Ordering is done via a QR code on your table or on a tablet stand in the middle of the restaurant. Service was quick and friendly, making it a great experience overall.
