They charge an expensive $1350 for a 8ft roll up door add, make you buy a "one-time" use container (ie new/air-water tight) then don't even add any type of seals to the roll up doors. My entire container interior was covered in a thick layer of dust after just one windy day, and the gaps they left for the tops of the roll up doors allows perfect nesting spots for bugs and bats. When I emailed to complain, I got no response or support from management. read more

By far the worst customer service I have experienced in a long time. I couldn't believe how the man I spoke to treated me. My husband asked what occurred since he saw my face of disbelief. Once I explained to him that I had gone on their website and requested a quote for either a 20 or 24' container, the man asked me what I needed, I responded with 24' container. He gave me the square footage. I said, "yeah I guess" I didn't know the square footage at that moment, neither did I care, since the only information I need to know is that a 24' fits on my lot. He then responded, "why don't you give me a call when you know what you want" I responded with, "I just told you what I want, a 24' container" He then hung up on me. My husband's response, "huh, that's the same response I received from that company" If that's how they do things, and that's the first impression they want to give, then I can only imagine how they treat people once they actually have problems with customers. read more

As much as I would like to write a rave review I can't as I had issues with Aztec honoring a self admitted shortcoming in their quality control. I purchased a container from them and paid an extra $500 for it to be primed and painted only to find large rust spots on the roof. I didn't see these spots until 3.5 months after my purchase (as there were not visible from the ground) however the container had not seen any rain during that time. When I contacted them they admitted that should have been taken care of but it had been in my possession to long at that point, they were not willing to help at all even including touch up paint in the case I wanted to fix it. I am in management with a large contractor in the San Diego area and we had previously worked with Aztec for years but will now only be using them at last resort. read more

I am a self employed contractor, I have used another container company a handful of times over the years that is closer to home for me. After trying to used them again I was turned off by their business practices. So I searched for another company and found Aztec. Do not buy your shipping containers from these con artists. I purchased 1 a few years ago and they charged me about 200 or $300 to ship it to my home. Now I'm moving and they want $900 to ship it 20 miles. It's pretty outrageous, they blatantly try to take advantage of people. I will never give them my business again, I am actually looking to purchase 2 more shipping containers and I will take my business to a company that actually takes care of their customers. In response to the owners reply, yes, it is completely crooked to take advantage of people and charge $900 when all you do is come here with the flatbed trailer and pick the thing up. I already have 3 tow truck companies who quoted me between $200 and $350. But no, if I went to a Mercedes dealership I know what I'm buying. I bought a used storage container which had dents all over it and the same company is charging pretty much half the price of the container to move it again. Even though you guys did not charge that much when I initially wanted it. That is exactly why I believe you are taking advantage of customers. There is no intricacies of some semi truck, you came and loaded it with a flatbed tow truck. Nothing special. Instead of pulling customer service out of your hat and trying to remedy the situation you choose to be insulting and compare your storage container company to that of a high end dealership. And furthermore you threaten slander and liable because of your poor customer service. Based on all of the prior reviews and your poor ratings across-the-board on Yelp and on Google, I guess I should have known there would be no efforts towards customer service. Horrible customer service. You're better off buying from a Craigslist backyard dealer than from these guys. Just because they're big doesn't mean you're getting a quality product or a straight shooter. Sales guy was great, and told us he would personally look over the container to make sure it was good and water/rodent tight. Turns out they delivered a container with cancerous rust on the roof, where we couldn't see (unless we were to get on a ladder and inspect it). The 14 gauge steel was completely rusted through at the corner, leaving a crack on the seam. When it arrived, we put our inventory inside and closed the doors. Six months later, when we opened them, we found thousands of dollars of inventory ruined by water (from only 2 or 3 rains). When we brought this to their attention (knowing that 14 gauge steel doesn't rust through within six months), they said "call a mobile welding company." If I ran my businesses like this, I'd be bankrupt. Take your money elsewhere. read more

I worked with Brenda for the purchase of my container. I ordered a used, painted 40' standard cube, with an 8' roll up door. Lucky for me, she was able to offer me a high cube, with what I wanted, for the same price (another customer cancelled their order...their loss was my gain). The entire process was very easy, and done remotely, which saved me time, and gas. Since it was used, I noticed that the old calk was coming up in some places, so I did have to remove all of the old calk, and re-calk the interior, and doors. I also tried to seal the floor, with garage floor paint, as a friend told me that the wood floors are heavily treated with chemicals for insects. Probably wasn't necessary, but I am a bit OCD, and I'm not going to live in it...but you never know. Could end up converting it into a guest house someday. I spoke with Marcus at Aztec as well as several other companies. Marcus was the only one who seemed sure of his product. I was worried about where we drop the container and if there would be room for the truck to move around. Consulted with Marcus, sent him pictures of drop zone. He shared with driver who confirmed they could do it. We scheduled for early morning delivery. The driver was exactly on time and very skilled as well. I watched 15 videos on u tube the night before that gave me a lot of awareness. The driver from Aztec was better than any in the videos when it came to container delivery skills. This was a tough spot to deliver on a terraced hill side. With precision he dropped the container exactly on my rail ties where marked. I think why wife filmed it all on her phone. We bought this week from AZTEC a 20 Foot Cargo Container. We are more than happy and thankful for what we purchased. We are especially thankful to Brad for his help. This is the only company that lets you in and gives you an opportunity to walk and choose the container you want from many. Brad walked us through the whole process with documents, certification and delivery. The certification was ready next day and they delivered the container in a couple of days. The delivery worker Josh was so helpful and kind. He did a great job! In a half year we will need one more container for moving with family to Europe. Very disappointed, I ordered a 10ft container. My fault for assuming that it would be a 10ft container. The back wall and the roof were added as you can see that they cut up a larger container to make this one. I was unaware that I would be providing free advertising as they decided to add their signage on all four sides of the unit. When I asked him to please repeat what he said, he gave a loud sigh and made it seem like I was wasting his time. I would not do business with this company again. The promised delivery on a specific morning and failed to arrive. They then said they would be here the next morning. Again no show. I had rented a forklift to offload and place the container. When they didn't arrive, I had to pay $800 extra to keep the forklift for the week. Aztec refunded only $200, so this transaction ended up costing an additional $600 in the end. The container we finally received seems fine. I need another, but I won't get it here. read more
