First time eating here...it's pretty good! Came in on a Monday around 4:20 and was seated immediately. Our waiter Felipe was very welcoming and kind with a great attitude. It's a nice little place, very quiet and relaxing. Ordered the Carnitas Tacos and Carne Asada burrito...which was SO much bigger than I was expecting. Both pretty good! I also ordered the Blackberry Spiked Lemonade which was very tasty as well. Couldn't taste the alcohol at all but still got a nice buzz ;P. Price is a little bit higher than expected, but not a huge deal Overall, a nice place to grab something quick and chill for a bit. Will definitely come back.

TLDR: Food: Okay, Service: Poor, Ambiance: Casual Food: Acceptable is the word I would use, acceptable but not great. Like a quick lunch here, sure! Would I host my birthday here, nope. Service: Just Meh. Ambiance: Laid back and chill.

Our waitress was very nice. We ordered the tortilla soup, quesadillas and taquitos. The soup I give a 9. The quesadillas could have been more crispy 6 and the taquitos a 8. The blackberry smash was strong and I'm leaving here on tilt The atmosphere was good... Will definitely come again.

This is definitely our comfort restaurant! We like coming here. Today when the food came I love how the presentation was, it's new compared to before. It looks so fancy! All the food was delicious.

    Steak, chicken, and shrimp fajitas!

Ok, we've been coming to this particular Azteca Restaurant up in the Kent East Hill area for over 20 yrs now, this place always seems to hit on all cylinders, not sure how they do it but for us, they seem to most, if not all the time. The food is always very good and their staff always seem to be very friendly and engaging with the customers. Their manager, I believe, is named Maria...she's a very pleasant, super friendly person who I have seen engage with customers each time we've seen her. Maria has often stopped at our table to inquire how our meal has turned out and will often spend a little time chitchatting with us and other customers too. I can tell she works hard and takes pride in the restaurant and her staff, I think they all do there. It's very difficult to find places like this anywhere...one of the many reasons we've been coming here for over 20 years! I definitely recommend trying this place out. Our go to meal is their family steak, chicken, and shrimp fajita plate, we've never been disappointed!

Took my friend here for her birthday had the arroz con pollo it was good. She even got the happy birthday song performed for her along with a piece of chocolate mousse.

Ok... so being raised in the Burien area, my familIa is very familiar with Azteca. It's always been a great place for some Mexican cuisines and a fun atmosphere, but since moving away from there, it's been less and few between. So, we decided to celebrate our good friends retirement earlier this week, and ended up using the Azteca in Kent as our venue. First and foremost, let me just say, the staff was soooo accommodating to our needs and allowed us to have a blast with friends and family for our dear friend. The food was delicious, the drinks were poured and flowing, and the generosity of the wait staff was perfection. They gave us the "central floor" area, where it's a few steps down from the main seating areas, which made us feel like we were a little bit secluded. They allowed us to rearrange tables, decorate and set up for her party, which turned out beautifully. Just want to give the establishment and the staff due recognition for an night of memories that will last oUr friend a lifetime! Also, the Mango Margaritas are to die for! Order them with some rimmed Tarjin spice! Delicioso!! Happy Eating... Happy Retirement for our friend!

I have to say this place was a pleasant experience, food, service and ambiance was great. They accommodated me with the plate I ordered to my specification. I ordered the burrito Dos Amigos and it was very flavorful! I definitely recommend it, my daughters ordered Chicken enchiladas and cheese enchiladas very tasty! Miguel recommended us a delicious drink and he even spruced it up with what I wanted. Please try the cucumber margarita! I definitely will be eating there again soon.

Really great take out last night, really enjoyed how the trays were used to ensure the food retained heat. Great idea! I tried the Enchilada Ranchera which was really good, typically I get a combination or the Chicken en Mole. Fantastic job Azteca in Kent, keep up the great work!

This is the chicken enchiladas and diablo shrimp chowder, it cost me $26

I've been going to this location for the past 20 years and their Chicken enchiladas and shrimp chowder are absolutely the best~ I've tried their garlic shrimp platter too and it was also very delicious. The large margarita with the shot is very expensive ($15), but that's the only drink you'll need for the night! The staff are always friendly and nice, they recognize me, and they always fix the order if they mess it up. Although one time they forgot to give me utensils for a takeout order, so just be sure to check since I obviously couldn't eat my food then. I rate it 4 stars because the price has gone up drastically. A side dish of rice went from $3.50 to $6 (pre-covid), and in general I would say their pricing is pretty high because those two dishes (enchiladas and chowder) end up costing me $26 (picture provided). So you can decide if the amount of food you get is worth the price.

Wait started probably around 6pm although there were still empty tables then. They provide garnishes for your water and also provide 4 salsas/accompaniments for your meal. I got the 16 oz ribeye served on hot stones. They cooked it slightly less than what you want, so for my medium rare, they cook it rare. It also comes with chimichurri and molacete(?) which has a more refreshing flavor. They season with rosemary and even light a branch on fire for more aroma. I tried a bite of my friend's filet mignon which was good, but my preferred cut is the ribeye or NY strip. We also shared the papa loca (worth it - so good) and the cauliflower (not as good, but I'm comparing it to a version made by Cuerno, a Mexican steakhouse in NY). I had a glass of the pinot noir and the garzon, and both were good, slightly tannic and 'juicy'.

I've gone here twice now and could not remember the name as the first time I tried it so I'm glad I…read morecame again! The first time I got the Wagyu tacos which were sooo good and I love the variety and flavor of the sauces. I loved how simple the taco Wagyu is as the meat is high quality For my second visit I got the Vacio Wagyu which came in a sizzling hot stone plate and it stayed hot for me to cook all of my Wagyu. It didn't really need the accompanied sauce but it was nice to have. I felt the large rock salt was a little bit nub and would make it too saucey but I found the rosemary a perfect combination with the Wagyu especially as one was cooking underneath. Excellent service as well - our server was attentive and timely. I've only gone here for lunch and we did not have to make a reservation as it was not too busy!

The long: steak culture is incredibly mundane and steakhouses themselves often overcommit and underdeliver. Vue has cracked the code bringing flavor to steak houses. They go beyond the traditional salt and pepper approach and introduce Mexican and Hmong flavors in their dishes. If haven't had the honor of dining in a home from either culture, you're in for a treat. I personally like their New York strip Their family love can be felt in the decor, the interactions, the attention to the customers and the food. For me these were flavors and the culture of care I grew up with. So I'm exited for their success, mark my words they will be the best steakhouse in Washington in the next 2 years. They're working with something special here.

I'm sorry that I have to revise my original review. Instead of 2 stars, I'm changing it to 1…read more The reason is not only my original experience but also the owner's response. Rather than acknowledging my concerns, they chose to argue with my experience and made factual claims that are inaccurate. The reply also reads like a generic AI generated response instead of a genuine attempt to address customer feedback. First, there is no such thing as a "gaucho torta". In Argentine spanish, the word torta refers to a sweet cake. A savory sandwich is not called a torta, so this is clearly a creative invention rather than an Argentine dish. Second, my review was specifically about these kinds of "creative" reinterpretations, not about traditional cuisines. I have traveled extensively throughout Argentina, as well as other countries in Latin America and Europe, and I appreciate that every restaurant is free to innovate. However, when you choose to reinterpret a traditional cuisine, you should also expect that some customers will appreciate those changes while others will not. Both perspectives are valid. Regarding the chimichurri, traditional Argentine recipes have historically relied on neutral oils such as sunflower or corn oil, although recipes vary by region and household. Presenting your version as the definitive authentic one while dismissing a customer's perspective is misleading. The disappointing part was not the food itself but the response. Instead of engaging respectfully with a customer who offered thoughtful criticism, the owner chose to argue with my experience and present questionable "facts" as if they settled the matter. Constructive criticism is an opportunity to improve, not something to dismiss. Here is my original review, my apologies for the confusion on the "bowl": There is plenty of steak, but the bowl is styled to appear fuller than it is, with an excessive amount of greens doing the visual heavy lifting. The steak itself is buried under butter and a heavy white sauce that mutes rather than complements the beef. The large, roughly cut potatoes aspire to a rustic aesthetic but read as inexpensive filler. Most confusing is the lack of culinary identity, the dish isn't recognizably Mexican, Italian, or particularly refined. It mistakes richness for sophistication
