I went by the drive-through for two Carne Asada tacos and one taco with Carnitas. Carne Asada, a small pieces of marinated steak which were grilled and had some crispy edges and nice texture. Carnitas is slow cooked pork, which is soft and tender and then it is grilled to give it crispy edges as well. It came served on a double stack corn tortilla. The tortillas are on the small side of the range of street taco tortilla sizes that I see but they were very tasty and they have been nicely fried. They were also very full of meat, they did not skimp on the proteins. Each taco is also topped with onions and cilantro. I was offered red and green salsa and I tried the green salsa which did have a little bit of spiciness, but also provided a lot of freshness and good flavor. The Carnitas taco was actually my favorite although the Carne Asada tacos were good too. read more

Food is excellent and fast service. Staff is super friendly and helpful with any questions. We travel from AK to this area a few times a year and always have lunch here. Specials are great. There is a salsa & condiments bar you help yourself to. Their beverage offerings include horchata, hibiscus and tamarind as well as sodas. Their tortilla soup is one of best I have ever had, it's large and filled with chicken, tortilla strips, chopped avocado in a super delicious broth. My review is based on two separate Uber eats orders that my wife and I made from Taqueria El Sabor - I cannot rate the restaurants customer service or cleanliness. This is purely on the quality and taste of the food. This place is delicious. We ordered 4 mini tacos (carnitas and adobada), gorditas (asada) and the chipotle burrito (adobada). To drink we also got an horchata. All the meats were flavorful and juicy. Nothing tasted old, over seasoned, or overcooked. The horchata was really good too. You could really taste the vanilla and cinnamon flavors. This has become our Mexican/taqueria spot. I would recommend based on the food. read more

I ordered a "Chile Verde Wet Burrito" at the drive through for lunch. It was delicious and the pork was cooked perfectly, still supple and seasoned just right! The gal at the window stepped away, so the cook or the owner handed me my food... (1/2 way down the street I find no spoon, no fork, no knife, no napkin). My most recent visit didn't go as planned, but I'm not going to totally fail them for it because of my previous visits. My most recent visit my rice and beans were cold and you can see how they plated in my soup. These people are always really friendly and the food is usually really good, but I don't know how you get cold food sent out to your diners sitting inside and that was the reason why I didn't take it to go. They're birria soup is really good but if you take it to go, then the containers only halfway filled but if you sit and eat the bowls overflowing. I guess you can't complain about everything. I was in the area visiting Kent-Meridian HS and saw two young ladies walking in the cafeteria with a bag of food. I was curious and asked them about the food game in the area. They shared that this place was way better than the rest! As soon as the school visit ended, I made my way to this place with my coworker. I noticed how diverse the customer base was, so I knew for sure they were right. The menu is not as extensive in a good way and loved their food selections. I ordered: 2 tacos; spicy pork and carnitas (legit, crispy on the outside and the meat was tender after the first bite) 1 torta; carne asada with avocado Omg yaaaaassaaasss, this was legit. Yummy and a great salsa bar for this. I enjoyed the atmosphere and how open the kitchen was! Each bite was so bomb and the bread on the torta was delicious. The taco had enough meat on it for me to separate the two tortillas to make another taco. I found a food hack and I ended up eating 4 tacos. So go enjoy yourself and eat here! read more

I'm so coming back here! Not only is it super close to Green River College Kent Campus, they have a drive thru! The food is pretty cheap, but the quality is top notch for a Taquiera in kent. Some of them can be a little sketchy. I have gotten the tacos, which are delicious and can't go wrong with that, and the enchilada/chimichanga combo as well. Both equally delicious. This is my now go to spot for Mexican food. I also like how they have the larger coke in the bottles from Mexico. Nothing beats real sugar, out of a glass bottle Coke. After reading reviews, I was very excited to stumble upon a restaurant with stellar experiences in the greater Seattle area. However, after placing my order and being made felt unintelligent for not knowing that their posole is served with a potato taco and not your standard flour or corn tortillas, I was skeptical... 1. My posole that was full of bones and no meat, was served without its' traditional sides: cilantro, oregano, crushed chili flakes, lime, onion, and cabbage. That being said, it was still lackluster and unappreciated. 2. I ordered nachos. I asked for beans on the side and they looked at me like I was stupid. (I asked for beans on the side because I didn't want the chips to get soggy before getting to my destination.) That being said, their fake bottled guacamole was unappreciated. They completely left the black beans out, (I'm guessing because they thought I was dumb for ordering them on the side). The chicken on the nachos was tasty, however I wish there were more of it. I can make better nachos than this at home, which defeats the purpose of going out to eat... The cherry on the sundae was overhearing them talk badly about me in Spanish as I was leaving. Inside most of their self serve options add one are placed from 1-3 days ago, no longer fresh. Not exactly clean, their tables always seem to be having food or plates still laying around. The girls who are on the front counter are either too busy on their gossiping or simply there to make their hours. That comes from going inside as much as using their drive through, where they just take your card or money and immediately start talking more so when the food is ready to go. I've had to beep at them to wake up, it's work time not chit chat time. Not to mention perhaps because of competition their prices have gotten way too high. This place does not need an introduction. I love tacos and this place satisfies every criteria: authentic, reasonably priced, and delicious. I usually order their asada tacos. The steak is always seasoned perfectly with some chopped onions and parsley thrown on top, and paired with their hot salsa from the bar. Service is always great.
