Can't say enough good things about AZTECH Mechanical. We noticed our AC unit wasn't cooling this morning. I called AZTECH and Nathan texted back very quickly. In spite of the fact he had personal things to attend to, he was able to come out today (a Sunday), diagnose the issue, and even find the necessary parts and come back and fix the unit. He even saved us quite a bit by determining that the part was still under warranty for a few more months. We've been using AZTECH for several years now and could not be more impressed. I was referred to this company after I thought I had a water leak from a roofing company. Nate was very helpful and communicated via text with me over the weekend to help me get my vacation rental back up and running. I was really stressed out when my ac started to leak water from the master bedroom ceiling of an occupied rental. The ac on the main floor could not be used at all, Nate was able to get a new unit installed in just a few days and trouble shoot some builder problems/errors that were discovered in the install process. Hi, Nate and his crew were awesome. They came out within an hour of being called. Determined the problem and as I had expected, the unit needed to be replaced. It was 15+ years old. They were able to get one and had it in the next day. My tenant loves the quickness of their actions. They left everything clean. And I found out I have a gas furnace and a ground mount AC unit. HORRIBLE!!!! They came out and gave me a bid and I accepted it. Had to wait 3 weeks for them to actually come out and do the work. When they got here, they said nothing was ready for them to do the work and they had to leave. He also told my boyfriend that they were going to be losing money on our job. I asked them why they didn't mention anything about what needed to be done when they came out to give the bid and he said that wasn't his department. I called Amanda at their office and she said that she underbid the job anyway so we shouldn't move forward!!!!! Hahaha!!! Wow! Then she called back and said that I kicked them out and they weren't going to move forward. Total bait and switch, complete waste of my time. Now I have to start all over again. I cannot even believe how unprofessional this company is. Move on, don't waste your time. Find someone more reputable, competent, and actually knows how to bid a job. We had the best experience this past weekend with Nate. I posted on our neighborhood Facebook page asking if anyone had any HVAC company recommendations because our AC unit froze. Nate was quick to reply saying he owned his own company and suggested a solution. He also offered to come over to check it out himself. Nate explained to my husband and I detailed step by step directions on how to unfreeze the AC. Hours later, he checked in on us and his solution worked! We couldn't believe how easy and fast it was. Not the best experience. To start the guy never even stepped foot on the job. He told me on the phone he just copied and pasted a work order from a previous job with a similar unit. So his bid and quote was not accurate. He subcontracted the work out to someone else and the unit in the attic was supposed to be hung from unistrut. They put the unit on blocks of wood. The unit outside is now hanging off the concrete 4 inches and small holes are exposed where critters can get in and nest. They used a cheap $40 Amazon thermostat and also reuse the drip pan that I was still charged for them replacing. They also charged me for replacing a disconnect and an electrical whip that was never replaced but I was still charged.. I'm still waiting for a call back from him and I doubt i will get it. I would never recommend this company to anyone. just out to make a buck off you. read more

I couldn't have had asked for a better experience than the one I had with AZTECH Mechanical. My AC went out on a Sunday evening. What made matters worse was that we were just about to list our home on the market. I reached out to AZTECH Mechanical from a mutual friend. I reached out to them Monday morning and I was told that they could have a tech to my area that afternoon for an inspection. Upon meeting with the tech they walked me through what my AC was doing and the options I had. I had a very significant leak with an old outdated unit. I decided to replace the AC unit as my home was about to hit the open market. Knowing the urgency of my request the team at AZTECH Mechanical had a quick turnaround time to put my unit in. And in the meantime, they filled in the leak so I could live peacefully until the install. Nate was the lead on the day of the install. The day before he texted me the time he would be there, and he was there right on time. The install took about 3 hours and they even set up my new NEST thermostat. Upon leaving he showed me temps blowing from the vents, where to change my air filters, and the process of pairing my NEST app. He's also followed up with me a couple of times asking how the unit was working and if I had any questions. At the end of the day, I would say the pricing was extremely affordable given a brand new AC unit, and even though it was a transactional relationship that Nate and the team at AZTECH Mechanical made me feel connected on a personal level as well. I worked with Nate the owner....all I can say is that he is one of the most professional, transparent, ethical and honest person I have dealt with in all areas of home repairs. We were quoted a ridiculous price from another company and when I spoke with Nate he explained his pricing and was almost half the price. Once he came to the house, it turned out that the problem was much more involved. Nate took the time to drill down to the root of the problem rather than just putting a Band-Aid on the problem as a previous company had done. I purchased my home almost 1 year ago, and I did everything I was supposed to do. I had the home inspections and everything looked great. About a week ago I checked my nest thermostat and found that my upstairs A/C unit had been running for 18.5 hours and that the temperature had not dropped to the 76 degrees that it was set at. I'm personally a plumber and I consider myself to be pretty good at what I do, but I will admit that I know absolutely nothing about HVAC. I called a different company and I was told that my upstairs unit was leaking at the coils in the attic and that it had ran out of the refrigerant. I was also told that the downstairs unit had a slow leak in the same place and it was soon to follow. Total price for replacing both of the units was over $31,000. I had a referral from a close friend to call Aztech Mechanical for a 2nd opinion and I couldn't be happier. After my 2 year old son had to sleep in the living room downstairs with my wife and I for a few days because the upstairs A/C wasn't working, I was incredibly sleep deprived and I realized that Plumbing is certainly not the most important thing in the state of Arizona. When Aztech came out they actually used real life tools to diagnose my problem and found that the upstairs unit was in fact leaking, but it wasn't leaking from the coils in the attic but instead it was leaking from the condenser unit outside. Oh, and the downstairs unit wasn't leaking, nor was it ever tested for leaks. Aztech gave me a price to fix my actual problem and the estimate came in at just over $2,700. I had the work done and they did an amazing job. The air is blowing colder than it ever has. They saved me from having to take out a loan just to be able to survive in this state.
