Recently, one unit stopped cooling, and the Parker & Sons technician claimed we needed a brand-new $7,000 compressor. We decided to get a second opinion, and it turns out the unit just needed a simple cleaning. The second company got everything working perfectly for a fraction of the cost. To make matters worse, we already had a yearly service agreement with Parker & Sons that was supposed to include cleaning. Despite this, they tried to charge us over $500 to clean a drain line and $375 to clean the compressor. They are a complete rip-off. Save your money and stay away.
