First dining experience here. Seated promptly. Server was thoughtful and lowered the blinds so we weren't blinded by the sun. Typical wooden table and chairs. No booths but the chairs are padded on your tushy. Pet peeve of mine is if the light fixtures hanging over the table are crusty with dust and unfortunately it was. The fixtures and hanging lights are really pretty but they need to be cleaned. Server was very sweet but not attentive. We waited a long time to be asked if we'd like another drink but that was my only complaint about the service. They were not busy at all. Maybe it was her break time. The food was Excellent!!! We were brought chips salsa and beans. The salsa was not typical. It had an all most Italian flavor. Like tomato sauce. If you got a bite with cilantro and I think cucumber it added the Mexican flavors. I could have picked up the empty little bowl of beans and cheese and licked it clean. Lol. Drinks were a little skimpy on the alcohol. I'm s light weight and I had two and didn't catch a buzz. Husband had pork enchiladas with avocado sauce and he cleaned his plate and said they were delicious. I had the Azul fajitas and wow they were amazing! Meat was so tender and the portion was huge. It was our first time trying this place and thankfully during COVID, they are still able to serve food on their patio. We had to wait 15 minutes to be seated but the service once we sat down was extremely fast. We had our drinks and chips with salsa AND bean dip immediately. I love that they give you 2 options for dipping your chips in cuz mixing the two was delicious. I ordered one puntas tacos cuz I had to see what the rave is about and it was very good. I definitely would order again. I also got the mixed fajitas and everything was cooked perfectly. I will definitely be back to eat again and hopefully when this covid is over I can go during their awesome drink specials everyone talks about. read more

3 stars only because the food is fantastic. We went there the other evening. It was a party of 20 but that shouldn't be the reason. The waitress took orders in batches 1/3 of the table and received their order first ate half before 2 set came to the table in which the 3rd section was barely getting their order taken 1 hr and 30 minutes later we received our food. Since we were a party of 20, we were forced to pay gratuity. I'm very disappointed. read more

I have to admit, I was seriously disappointed in the food. Just the name alone calls to you "eat here, we have the most delicious food you ever tasted " I was really excited to come. I ordered the carne asada burrito with green sauce and the portion was on point, but not the flavor..so very bland, and the side salad was not that great either. The price of my plate was high considering the lack of flavor. The ambience is very nice and clean, so I felt very comfortable eating. The patrons were nice, kept to themselves..and customer service was good. I dont think I'll be back sadly..maybe for a drink in the bar. read more

Service was slow. Asked for water multiple times. Didn't get a water till about 30 mins into being sat. We ordered two entrees and a jalapeño margarita. Margarita was very good. Server only brought out one entree. Claiming didn't hear us order two? He asked multiple times what type of tortillas I wanted and still didn't bring them out with my meal. Husband and I ended up sharing the fajitas because he didn't even offer to comp my husbands meal that he never put in or brought out. Super disappointing. a couple weeks ago I picked up food for a friend and I. I kept thinking what is wrong with my chicken and bean burrito? She looks at me and said, " You don't have beans in it!!!" seriously. its funny it is so ridiculous. I was enjoying talking with her and never looked down and inspected it. I called twice. As usual no answer. I also bought the gift cars book ( will never do that again) and it had get a burger free with one. lol I see why. They are the size of a toddler's burger. Azuls staff appreciate retuning patrons and work hard during their service. Some favorite orders: -Chicken Fajitas, add the avocado&cilantro sauce -Sopitos with carne asada -Chicken enchiladas suizas, this green sauce is the way to go -Chicken flautas appetizer, comes with a delicious salsa Chips, beans, and salsa are served when you are seated which is a big plus! Living in the valley one sees various different levels of Mexican food some small joints to larger more lavish locations. From my experience I tend to stay a from the higher end Mexican restaurants due to me finding my satisfaction in the food but boy was I wrong about this location. Food was amazing my pregnant wife got her satisfaction with her flautas very crunchy and full of flavor. I went for a different approach ordering enchiladas de Camaron with a white cream sauce different from what I am used too but the pair really mixed well giving you an amazing variety of flavors from the sauce to the actual shrimp itself. The only reason why I was not able to review this a full 5 stars didn't come the food itself but more on the communication of our waitress. I had to repeat myself multiple times to what we wanted and even had to bring to her attention that she repeated our order wrong and blamed it on us saying we didn't say that. Many aspects could have gone to this maybe noise level in the restaurant. That is a small issue nothing to take against the facility itself I will be returning I can assure you but I felt as though I have to be honest in my reviews. read more

I came here with my family for our first time. The wait staff was gracious and attentive. It was also very family friendly. They started us with chips, salsa, and beans. The chips were slightly stale but the salsa and beans were delicious. They have a full bar and we ordered margaritas. They offer a few different margaritas but we got just a standard. Also very good. For dinner I ordered the Enchiladas Azul with shrimp. It's was fabulous. I highly recommend coming here and am excited to come back and try more dishes. read more

No. First of all, we waited 90 minutes for food. And this was some of the blandest food we've ever had. Save yourself the time!

We were a group of around 24 with reservations. We had 2 tables with a waiter per table. Our reservations were for 11:00 on Sunday. We didn't get our orders in until 11:30 or so. Our food arrived at various times over an hour later. In the mean time we were starving and ate the chips, salsa and warm bean dip. My family of 4 were charged $5.90 for the bean dip because we had requested a fill up. Overall a very disappointing lunch. Our large group were here last year and again service was awful. I'm not sure why they didn't have enough help in the kitchen as they knew we were coming. Needless to say we will be going somewhere else next year. On a positive note their food is good. read more

Our second visit here and we brought family from out of town. The waiter was nice but a bit spacey. Messed up drinks but no biggie. Food comes out, my sister takes a bite, I look over and see a long black hair on her food. None of us have black hair. Waiter apologized and takes the dish back to remake. I see her talking to the manager. Manager never comes over. New plate is brought and all that's said is she knows there wasn't a hair on it when she brought them over. Checks come, we give them our coupons. Told we can only use one. So I ask if they're going to comp my sisters meal since it had a hair in it? She again tells me it wasn't there when she brought the food. Are you saying we put the hair there ourselves?? Ask her to send the manager over. She comes back without the manager and says we can use the coupons. Needless to say, we won't be back. Food is okay as long as there's no hair but it's definitely overpriced and the service is reason enough that we won't return and I'll share our story anytime this restaurant comes up in conversation.
