The results were even better than I had imagined. Dr. Azzawi made what seemed impossible happen leaving me with a smile I was extremely proud of. Back story: I don't know where to begin. I have the biggest dentist phobia!! I had over 13 cavities in my teeth and refused to go to the dentist for many years due to my fear of dentists. I finally built up the courage to go and consult with numerous dentists. I either felt uncomfortable with the dentist or they were too expensive and felt like they were trying to rip me off. Until I called Azzawi Dental...I live in Orange County and made over an hour drive just to see to go there. Booking: I had a great experience from the first call I made to Azzawi dental. I explained my worries and fears over the phone before making the appointment. They made me feel very comfortable and assured me that the doctor will block his time to just focus on my case. They sent follow up text messages till my appointment day. Arrival: The place was very clean and sanitized and they did not waste my time. Dr. Azzawi saw me right away. I spent all the time I needed just talking to the Dr and explaining my case and fears..... He gave me his undivided attention and did not make me feel rushed. I could tell his primary goal was my health and to make me feel comfortable. He tried to save me money in every possible way. I felt soooo comfortable with him that I fixed 8/13 cavities on my first visit. Dr. Azzawi and his assistant were very sanitary throughout the whole process and would constantly change their gloves after they go out of the room or touch anything. Dr Azzawi's assistant also made me feel very comfortable and was reassuring me every step of the way. She was even holding my hand throughout the process because I was so nervous! The place : The place was very clean and sanitized. All the medical equipment looked new and very advanced. Calming music playing in every room. Aftercare: I could not believe the level of customer service I got at Azzawi Dental. I got a text message from Dr.Azzawi the night of and he made sure I was okay and my teeth were feeling fine. I could tell he genuinely cared about me. Price: I will not disclose the exact amount as I do not want to mislead any future patients since every case is different but I paid almost 50% less than 4 other dentists I got a quote from. I could tell he's not just trying to make money off of me or rip me off, but genuinely trying to help me. He was very honest and transparent. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Azzawi to anyone. I promise you won't regret going to him. I drove over an hour just to see him. He's very genuine, smart and caring. I am beyond grateful and happy with Dr. Azzawi, I had an infection and decay under my bridge, and my long-time dentist told me I needed root canals and maybe extractions, I could not understand why they would not remove my bridge 1st to make sure it was necessary to have root canals, after 3 different opinions I meant Dr. Azzawi, he took the time to listen to my concerns, he was able to save my teeth and put on a beautiful new bridge. I went there to create a solution for exposed root canals and needing crowns. The staff was very pleasant. I was assured that Dr. Azzawi would come up with a solution for my challenge. They stated my appointment would include full X-rays, they took 2 and still charged me 85.00. Dr. Azzawi solution was to wear a bite plate(which I already had) and come back in 6 months. Just like another yelper stated, this guy is a scam artist. I've never had a cavity in my life. After seeing Azzawi he proceeds to inform me that I have 8 cavities. I see another dentist shortly afterwards, and lo and behold no cavities whatsoever. Unreal. He told my wife the same thing; she has 6 cavities. Needless to say we never went back. Still getting numerous calls and texts from them to make an appointment. It's unfortunate he is milking the insurance industry for all he can because this just in turn makes the insurance companies raise their premiums to offset the unnecessary claims that practitioners like him are doing.
