Holy smokes! These pizzas are sure something to write home about. Super fresh, local ingredients atop a freshly made dough then put through a fire stove makes these pizzas surely something special. The staff is unbelievable - so friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable about where the ingredients came from and what would be a tasty combo. They have fun, neat monthly specials. Male sure to check their Facebook or Twitter for those. My fav is the March Crabness (get it? March Madness..ha!) Its crab Rangoon on a pizza. Weird, right? So delicious! Thank me later! My go-to is an 8 inch pizza with pesto sauce and as make veggies they can fit on there - and boy do they fit them on there. It's all one price so get as many toppings as your heart pleases:)

Hey what can I say, make your own pizza, not too shabby, I had a build your own, good crust and the meat was flavorful, got some pizza breads thingy, not bad, topped it all off with a fantastic milk stout. Good lunch.

I have heard great things about Azzip for years, but never had the chance to stop in until last night. Let's just say it lived up to the hype. I ordered the Triple Double pizza which consists of ranch, pepperoni, garlic butter, mozzarella, italian red, and zip dust. It was delicious. I could taste all the flavors of the ingredients equally and nothing was too overpowering. The pizzas were made and cooked very quickly, so my friends and I weren't waiting around for each other to get their pizzas for too long. The staff working was also very friendly and helpful. My friends and I had been chatting for a while in the dining room and one of the employees offered to clear out plates, which was great. Also, because we were there close to closing time we were offered leftover cookies that would've otherwise probably gone to waste. Food was great. Service was great. What more could you ask for?

Yes this is a piece of art!!

A great recommendation while in town. Had the Triple Double plus bacon and a Zip soda. Super yummy, clean restaurant, and friendly staff.

The building is absolutely stunning. From the mural along the side with some Indiana favorites to the very tasteful woodwork inside. All four of us thought our food was really good. How often does that happen? The newest menu item was the Salisbury steak. Might be the best I've ever had. There is a little kick to it. Nothing that little water doesn't take care of. haha when I mentioned the cake to the waitress, she said it's probably the goat cheese and the mashed potatoes. I never knew a goat cheese being spiced. But, hey, I really enjoyed it! If I lived in this area, I would frequent it a lot.

I also think the prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get. This is definitely my favorite restaurant to visit when I am in Terre Haute.

The market is very small but has a decent range of food options including burgers, pizzas, and ramen. When we arrived, someone was giving announcements for future events at the Market. To me, this didn't seem like a big deal, but the bar vendor kept giving us dirty looks for talking. And they wouldn't take our order until the woman was done. I don't know if they had ever been in a market before, but they are loud, hectic, and made for the convenience of everyone being able to get what they want quickly and meet up in the same space to enjoy. I am not required to participate in your events, I am here for food. The ramen was good but they made ordering too complicated and the menu is more of a fusion than authentic ramen. I had the shrimp and steak and the steak was burnt. My husband got a calzone and it was okay, it really could have been improved with some seasoning on the crust. You have to order from the vendors individually and then also check out again at a different vendor to get basic soft drinks - which were $3.50 each... I really appreciate what they are doing here, and I hope they continue to improve and work out the kinks.

Cute touch! Service was warm and attentive (thanks John!) and they were incredibly accommodating on our food substitutions since I don't eat meat. I was also excited to see that they had a good sized menu with a variety of options-- sandwiches, burgers, salads, appetizers, hot dogs, and desserts. I wouldn't say it's a full 'dinner' restaurant, but great tasting, fresh, AND flavorful meatless options which are great for vegans/vegetarians. They had dedicated parking, patio area, an upstairs (I'm sure is amazing in the summer!) and clean restrooms. I even noticed signage in the women's restroom that encouraged safety for 'Angel shots' in case anyone felt unsafe and needed to communicate safely with the bartender for a ride home or the police! They also have live events, music, and great drink specials. It's right on Indiana State University campus so it could be missed, but don't overlook this gem! -- 5/5 from this Pup Mom

I'm writing this review mainly because I hope management sees it. Two things keep this from being a 5-star experience for me. First, sale pricing. I would estimate that around 80% of the time I buy something advertised as on sale, the discount doesn't ring up correctly. That makes it hard to shop with confidence. Second, I really, really, really wish the store had self-checkout lanes. Partly so customers can easily verify prices as they scan items, but mainly because I've noticed some food-handling habits at checkout that are concerning. For example, I once bought hot bar food (which you open and eat right away), and the cashier was eating crackers with both hands so fast you'd have thought those crackers owed her money while ringing up my ready to eat, while the bagger was picking at her lip gloss with her fingers. That's not what most people expect when handling ready-to-eat food. I've also seen cashiers lick their fingers before counting cash back. That is gross. For both of us. Having worked in banks, I could horrify you telling you in detail how disgustingly dirty is money. After the lip picking incident I haven't been buying as much hot bar and that's bad for me and bad for their business. Self-checkout would help avoid all those issues and make an already good store perfect. Its not the cheapest place in town but it could be the best. If pricing accuracy improves and self-checkouts are added, this would easily be a 5-star grocery store for me.

I am writing about a delivery, so I can't comment on the restaurant itself. I took a star off because they did not provide any utensils or napkins in the delivery bag which made for a delayed meal since I had to go searching for a fork. The garden salad was very good. So crisp and fresh. The tomatoes were yummy, and I liked the surprise of celery amoungst the greens. The greens were mixed and not just iceberg which elevated the salad quite a bit. I always say I judge an Italian restaurant by their sauce, and this one was ok. Very sweet. Not thick. It wanted for something. I ordered the half portion of angel hair pasta, and it was still a very generous amount. I added a meatball which tasted more like an Italian sausage in a ball with a bit of spice and a chewier consistency. I wasn't mad at it, but it wasn't the seasoned ground beef crumble I expected. All in all, the meal was good, just lacking in some of things I expected from a place everyone seemed to like about it. I would probably go back and maybe try some of the other dishes next time I am in Terre Haute, if only to see if maybe it was just that order.

My daughter and I both got the Chicken Gyro (that's not its full name, but that's what I remember). That was our plan B bc they were out of corned beef. It was awesome and so huge that we had to use a fork and knife to eat it. The Parmesan fries with curry was also very good. We got there during an off time. There were 6 ppl dining when we came in. It took probably 10-15 minutes before we got to order. We were there for 30 minutes before we got our drinks. I had to go out to the car to get the drinks we had in there bc we got thirsty. I also don't think they change table cloths between customers. Once the other people left, tables were cleared but crumbs remained. When I came back from the car, there was an insect crawling on our table. I won't say the R word, but I'm pretty sure it was a baby R. I pointed it out & worker squished it in her fingers and tried to save face by saying it was a spider (definitely wasn't a spider) or an aphid (most definitely not an aphid). I hate giving bad reviews, especially to small businesses, and they probably don't deserve the 3 stars, but the food was delicious when we finally got it ... just tried not thinking about the critter. Not having a restroom wasn't great either. We do prefer to wash our hands before we eat, as one should. We went out to our car to use our hand sanitizer. After other customers left, I also started to play my own music at the table. They obviously had kids in the back and had a children's show fairly loud, which was just kind of annoying. That may be nitpicking, but dining in was just not a good experience all around... besides the food. Sorry
