This place is a real gem. I especially like this location because I like to check their refurbished items first. The service is stellar, they really help you find the best fit for your needs. I rarely buy a new appliance because B&B will probably have a really nice one for a fraction of the cost. It might even be new, but sold as used for one reason or other. We bought a refurbished washing machine from these guys this past summer (late July/early August). Last Wednesday(Dec 11), the washer began unbalancing to the point it was no longer usable; we called B&B to schedule a repair, and the technician came out on Friday. After assessing the problem and checking with his supervisor, he informed us it was a broken inter-core spring, and a special part needed to be ordered, but he'd be back on Tuesday to make the repair. We were told they would call us to keep us updated/ By Wednesday of this week (Dec 18), after hearing NOTHING back from B&B, we finally called them and were informed that the part still wasn't in, but they'd "let us know" when it was. When I arrived home yesterday (Dec 19) and learned the washing machine STILL wasn't fixed, I called B&B AGAIN, speaking with Jeff who said there was no record of the pending repair but he'd check with the service manager and call me back first thing in the morning when they opened at 7:30am. So now it's Friday, Dec 20. We've been without a washing machine for over a week. I waited until 8:30am and when I'd received no phone call (not surprising, at this point), I called B&B once more. The girl who answered the phone gave no name but hastily put me on hold for 7 minutes when I explained why I was calling. Finally an unidentified male picked up, seemingly unaware of what was going on. I got the impression I'd been forgotten about during my lengthy hold and this person just happened to see the phone blinking and decided to see what was going on. I again explained my reason for calling, and John Doe said that the repair was actually going to need to be done in-shop. I relayed what had been communicated to us (including the promise of a repair on Tuesday), and asked if there was a reason that vital information had never been communicated; John Doe's answer was that there was none. Fabulous. John Doe said they could send someone tomorrow to pick up the machine; I asked if it could be done today, since it was THEIR series of mistakes that had led to us not being able to wash clothes at home for over a week, but John Doe said no, they could only send someone tomorrow sometime in the morning or afternoon (I said we'd make either one work), and he'd call (yeah right) between 8-9am to schedule pickup. I asked when we could expect to have our machine back and John Doe said, "Uh, maybe sometime early next week?" So that would be nearly 2 weeks with no washing machine, with a supposed delivery ON CHRISTMAS EVE. When people are busy with families and getting prepared for Christmas Day and don't really want to deal with setting up delivery for major appliances. After that phone call ended, I relayed the information to my boyfriend, who was as appropriately pissed off as I was; he said he'd call them back and ask to speak to Jeff directly (I knew if I called back I would have been snippy, so I asked him to do it). Jeff has been the only positive thing about this experience. He assured my boyfriend the repair would be done today if we could deliver the machine to the shop ourselves, since they have no drivers today. I appreciate that the machine is still covered by their warranty and the repair is being done for free, but what SHOULD have happened is the technician should have seen the problem, verified what it would take to repair it, and sent someone out THAT DAY to pick up the machine. And it should have been back to us no later than that same Tuesday we were told it would be fixed. And B&B SHOULD HAVE KEPT IN CONTACT, because if we hadn't called them, how many weeks would have gone by where we'd be sitting with a broken washer and having to schlep our laundry to a friend or relative's house? Previous;y we've had good experiences with these guys, which is why we got our washer there in the first place; after this, though, I can't imagine wanting to do business there again. read more

I called in to buy a washer 3 months ago with a budget of about $700. I was talked into buying a premium commercial washer for roughly $1500 by the sales guy. The "premium commercial" washer was said to be "bulletproof". In 3 short months, it's already out of commission. B&B refuses to replace it citing that it has a manufacturer's warranty so everything will be fine. After a week without a running washer in a home with small children, we finally got a tech in here to assess the situation. Ironically, B&B is also the contracted vendor that does warranty work for this manufacturer. A repair technician came out today and has to order a part... several more days without a washer. Although I was promised that the washer would be replaced if the technician could not fix it today, B&B has changed its mind and is still refusing to replace the washer or take it back and refund me. When I asked the technician why B&B would not simply replace the washer, he said "B&B can't re-sell a unit that's been used. We're not going to take that kind of loss. Unfortunately, someone's gotta 'take it' in this situation and that's going to be you". THAT says it all. Very impressed. We bought an 'out of box' refridgerator that was 100% new and had some minor scratches on it. Picked it up ourselves to save the $99 delivery fee. They have a little of everything. Out of box high end appliance and even used stuff. Worth stopping by! read more

NO INTEGRITY Do not buy, or trust, them for your appliance purchases. Especially if your salesman is James Todd. After asking James if the units we were looking at were part of their scratch and dent inventory, James told us "no". He stated that these units were floor models and the last ones due to new models coming in. We agreed to purchase the floor models with a $200 discount. Upon delivery, there was a large dent on the side of the washer and a smaller dent on the front. After confronting James Todd about this, he could only state that we were already given a discount and that he had not seen the dent until they picked it up for delivery. He is NOT a man of integrity, nor is B & B Appliances. I will never give them my business again, and I do not recommend them. Buyer beware!! read more

This is a follow-up and correction of my original review. Jason came out originally on March 11th and replaced the water valve and the following day the ice maker still was not dumping ice. I called B&B appliance again scheduled another appointment for March 14th. He showed up in the time frame. He then took the ice maker out of the freezer and looked at it and it had apparently gone bad. I was a little disenchanted by the bad assessment and being charged for a water valve which wasn't the problem. I called the office and spoke to the gal. I am not being charged for the water valve which wasn't bad in the first place. FYI: FOR THEM TO SHOW UP AND WRONGLY ASSESS COST ME $115, $65 FOR A SERVICE CHARGE AND $50 FOR TECHNICAL TIME. I THINK I WILL FIND ANOTHER APPLIANCE REPAIR COMPANY. He doesn't minimal time on thawing the water dispenser line. I really don't agree with the $50 charge for the technical time. read more

I have used B&B appliances for many years for new purchases as well as repairs this time around something is changed with in-home repairs. Which was not communicated when I made the appointment for service call. Max down Paid $100 for a service call for my washing machine that is making grinding noises. $100 for the tech to come out and say Yep sounds like there's something wrong maybe something stuck inside not sure but we don't do labor intensive work here so we'll have to bring it to the shop that'll cost $400 just to take it in. I was told when I called it would be $100 service call plus parts. nothing about they don't do work here at the home. I never would've scheduled the call for them to come out knowing that they don't do the work on site! How does this make any sense? In this economy is not feasible for people to pay $100 just for somebody to come to their home to tell them that something is broken ! obviously that's why the call was made. Service calls sound like they are just just a money grab. Tried calling and talking with the service manager about my issue and that it would be nice if they would explain when the appointments are made that the work may not be able to be done onsite. He pretty much talked over me. The entire time would not listen. Told them that I would not be using their business anymore and he told me then don't. I'm not sure what happened to the customer service in this company, but it has gone to crap and I will not be using this company and I will not be referring this company out anymore. Zero stars! Older, white guy came out to fix washer and refused to do the work because the washer was outside. He also LIED and said he called before he came over, but that was not true! I walked in and was immediately greeted by by James. I told him I needed the best but cheapest washer/dryer set he had in stock. 10 minutes later I walked out confident in my purchase with a delivery setup a few days later. My set was delivered and installed today by a kind a patient delivery driver that accommodated my scheduling needs and didn't let my cat get loose. Our family rents a home in Goodyear. We noticed our light in our microwave went out. Not a big deal, but would love to watch the food as it is getting heated up to make sure it doesn't boil over. We contacted our property management and they sent out a technician. He was unable to figure it out, he was here two hours, then another gentleman came out and he took out our microwave/oven combo and still could not figure it out. Then the third week B&B appliances sent out a technician named "TU". He was amazing, done in 25 minutes and talked to us about how the combo worked. He also took time to answer other appliance questions we had as well. TU stated that he usually works in Queen Creek and east Arizona. We were blessed that B&B appliance sent the ultimate technician on the third try. Third time was a charm. Thank you very much for such a small thing that was a big thing to us. Worst company. Because I am renting we HAVE to use this horrible company. They tell you they are scheduling at one time, then call and change. I have to work for a living. I don't have the luxury of staying home all day waiting. I made arrangements at work because I was told between 8 and 10. Tech calls and says 12-2. it is really frustrating. They must give landlords a good deal. They rape you with rent and when things break down, you are stuck with horrible companies. read more

One of the most horrible company and customer service I have ever experienced! Don't use their services unless you want to get scammed on parts. I was told after the second technician came it was a certain problem but still my refrigerator doesn't cool. After paying $300 nothing, called again and they said it was something else! Which would be almost $200! They say serviced guarantee but yet they couldn't fix it the first time around. I called their customer service to try and get a refund on the part they told me was the problem and that they can take their part. They refused and threatened to charge me more for their horrible service just because I wanted to let them know about my terrible experience. Which I did very nicely and I was repaid with threats. After a month of talking talk to them to try to get my refrigerator fix I got nowhere but with a broken refrigerator and -$300. I just bought a used dryer from B&B. although the prices are fair The delivery and setup seemed to be delayed and I was meant to believe it would be in the morning. They did call and set up a 2 hour window in the afternoon and barely made the window. I had to call the store to get a status. Driver pulled up, installed the dryer and left. Never got a text or a heads up. Just showed up. I pretty much had to wait all day for them. I may or may not be back. read more

Extremely rude unprofessional and dishonest. They sold me a washing machine that didn't work. It had a broken agitator. They first had a tech come look at it and said there were no issues that it wasn't set up properly. They claimed they set it up but it still wasn't washing. SO i called again and they told me they can't do anything about it because they didn't find any issue. I was stuck with machine that doesn't work for 3 months! They refused to swap it out or sent someone. I then went back to them and they finally sent someone out. The tech did confirm that my machine was broken. They told me i would get a call back and never did. I had to call them myself. I then went and pick out another machine and they refused to give me the difference even though the machine was cheaper than the original. They conveniently had no record of me calling them.They also said i would have to bring back the broken machine. Not only did they refuse to give me the difference but they also were rude and refused to compensate or as much as even apologize for the inconvenience.The will take your money and treat you like garbage. read more

This company has been to my house 3 times and has told me personally they ordered the wrong parts for my dryer. I was understanding and then today they called and said they would not be coming out since I missed the call of them telling me when they might be over. My dryer has been broken for a month and these people have been at my house almost weekly since. I called and spoke to the manager and his response was "well you should probably return a call when you see it was missed" which I did and was actively doing once I saw the missed call. I wouldn't recommend this company at all. Supposedly they never ordered the wrong part and weren't coming out today to even fix the dryer they were coming to verify I just need a new one. There's no communication and the communication they do have with clients is appalling. read more

This is a 1-star review. This review is based upon the delivery and the aftermath of the delivery. Our salesperson James wanted to make sure we tagged him in our review so he is. The problem: We were given a 2-hour window for our delivery, the delivery driver called us at the end of the two hours and let us know that he would be there in 15 minutes. 20 minutes later he arrived. He was polite but smelled of smoke which is unfortunate because I have asthma and my wife has an allergy to smoke. He quickly, and a bit carelessly (likely because he was running behind schedule), removed our washer and dryer and put in the new washer and dryer. (NOTE FOR DELIVERY: BE READY TO QUICKLY CLEAN WHERE YOUR APPLIANCE WAS, HE WAS ANNOYED THAT I WANTED TO SPEND 3-4 MINUTES CLEAN UP THE DUST FROM BEHIND WHERE THE OLD UNITS HAD BEEN EVEN THOUGH HE WAS 20 MINUTES BEYOND THE DELIVERY WINDOW). When he was installing the new washer he broke the cold water valve and after testing it said "OK, it's all working correctly you just won't have cold water." He tried to brush it off like it was normal to not have cold water. This was unacceptable because our cold water was working fine prior to him hooking up the new washer and we wash all of our clothes on cold. When we told him this he said "Welp, you'll need to call a plumber to get that fixed then." I told him to wait a minute, you just BROKE the valve what do you mean I have to find someone and pay them to come and fix it. He said that's the way it is. So, I asked to talk to a manager. He called his manager Kyle and let him know that the customer was "upset" and wanted to talk to a manager. Kyle literally told me it's not his problem that the valve broke, and that I should call a plumber. Now at this point the driver who was well beyond his two-hour window and needed to get to his next delivery. So I released him, even though the delivery was not complete since I have a brand NEW washer I CANNOT USE. So, I called the shop and talked with Mike, the owner, who told me that in no way is this his fault (remember -- his team broke the valve) and that I should call a plumber. Now, did Mike recommend a plumber? No. Did Mike apologize for his team being late? No. Did Mike apologize for his team breaking the valve? No. What Mike did do was make sure to blame me for the valve being broken and blame me for complaining about it. While a normal decent human would have tried to think of solutions or offer pathways to success Mike was rude and took 20 minutes to make sure that I knew how wrong I was for calling in. Since no solution was offered I had to go to Yelp to find a plumber and pay $200 for a plumber to come out and fix what B&B broke so that we could use our new washer. I highly disapprove of this business -- unreliable, careless and zero customer service. Yes, the prices are good but we actually ended up spending more than if we hadn't gone to a scrath&dent place because we had to pay an extra $200 we hadn't budget to fix the valve they broke in order to use the washer. read more

We had a new baby the day we were supposed to move into our new home. (3 weeks early) As soon as we got home from the hospital -to our home with barely any of our belongings -, our fridge broke. We found one on b&b's website, called & were told they wouldn't be able to deliver until after the weekend. I explained the situation and much to our surprise they found a way to deliver it the next day. The delivery man was kind, and knowledgeable and helpful. My only complaint is, one week later and the fridge is leaking water. Thankfully we have a 6-month warranty through them & know it will get handled properly. read more

The prices was great and the sales person, James, was excellent at answering our questions, showing us all the choices we had and gave us great information. This was the store in Surprise. I found this gem in 2016 when I needed washer and dryer for my townhouse. Not only prices were unbeatable but customer service was extraordinary. Agent helped me pick the best one and also pros and cons and not just costliest one. And than I had a quick buy for my refrigerator this year for my rental , same experience and a quick in and out purchase. But this week blew our mind when we went to buy refrigerator for our townhouse and Jeff was helping us. He not only helped us pick a refrigerator but also helped us understand the problem with our current one. And we came home and fixed our refrigerator at no cost. Great repair service! When we arrived home after a 4 day vacation we found our refrigerator was too warm. We had to call out repair and I found this company. They came out and diagnosed the problem within 5 minutes. We had also had problems with our ice maker for years. The first day he fixed the ice maker and charged us the service fee, and a part had to be ordered, but he was able to get the fridge back into cooling mode. Two days later the tech came out and was in our house for less than 15 minutes. He replaced the broken part. Final cost for repair was $158 (they only charge service call for the first visit). I will use them again and again for appliance repairs. Superior service at fantastic prices. read more
