I glanced over their menu and for what it is worth the price of everything is phenomenal for the offering! I love everything about this place! We were immediately greeted and sat upon arrival. Service was attentive and friendly throughout. Fried green tomato appetizer - amazing! Super crispy and full of flavor. Kids' meals were also excellent quality for $5! There are very few restaurants that serve high quality kids meals and it is a super pet peeve of mine. My kids had the hot dog and the mac'n'cheese (actually homade) and both were tasty and large portions. I had the Southern burger and I think it was the best burger I have ever had. You can tell the beef is quality - local and grass fed. This is not an everyday type place as it is a bit pricey, however, the quality of the food totally warrants it! read more

Went with life's Soccer team.. They feed the driver free.. But said they didn't have plastic utensils...I guess that the price you pay for Free??? I did order the wings.. Our first time back since newest ownership and management took over. Salmon was overcooked, dry and rubbery. Bed of mashed potatoes was very runny and only luke warm. Cheese on the chicken and waffle sandwich (not sure why it even needed cheese) was sweaty and also rubbery. Resembled the "government cheese" at Wahlburgers. Beer cheese soup had far too much pepper in it. Otherwise it was good, although not very hot. Steak salad was ok. Meat not as good as it used to be. We asked our sever if everything was still farm-to-table and she said "no, not everything" but wouldn't go into any detail. read more

They have a great assortment of different foods (from burgers and sandwiches to salmon and steaks). There is typically classic rock music playing in the background (with live music on the weekends). Great service, excellent food, and an incredible value! I've been to The Butcher and Bottle twice now, and both times have been wowed. The only reason I haven't been more than twice is because it's always a bit "off the radar" being that I live in Woodstock and don't typically make it up to Sixes for dining. On this occasion, me and my girlfriend went at dinner on a Sunday. The restaurant was at only about half capacity so we were greeted and seated immediately. Our waitress, a young brunette, was knowledgeable regarding the menu and provided many recommendations. We settled on the Basil Sriracha Shrimp for an appetizer and both ordered beers. The shrimp were large, juicy, and not overcooked, something that I do have concerns about when ordering fried shrimp. Also, the portion was huge! The dish was creamy and spicy and overall really enjoyable. For entrees, I settled on the Asian Hanger and she ordered the Roasted Turkey Sandwich with a side Caesar Salad. Wow! The portions were very large for the price and the food was outstanding. I ordered my steak mid rare and it did come out closer to rare but that's my only gripe. The marinade and sauce shined on the steak and the oyster mushrooms and brussels sprouts made for a nice pairing. The turkey sandwich was delicious to boot! We'll definitely be back. Went to an event at the nearby aquatic center. Dropped in here afterwards. Waiter was good. Mushroom soup was good. Chef Seth Burger looked like it had escaped from a Krystal. Thin patty. It may have weighed 3 ounces, a couple of shaved pickle slices. A minuscule blob of a non-descript sauce. A smear of cheese and NO herb foccacia bun. The french fries were old, tired, reheated and a couple were nearly cold. Farm to table. What a joke. i wish I'd taken a photo of the burger with it opened up but I just wanted to eat and get out. Need to add that the mens room exterior handle when lifted up opened the locked door from the outside. Poor little boy sitting on the loo nearly had a heart attack. This was our first time to B&B Tavern, having just moved to Canton from Cumming. Location is great so we figured we would give it a try. We love local non franchises. We were seated right away, although the host seemed annoyed that we didn't want the table by the kitchen. Our waiter was Austin, he was fantastic. We ordered the jumbo pretzel for a starter, it came out quickly, it was jumbo, but it was slightly under cooked, yeasty moist in the middle, but we were hungry and it was still pretty tasty, just would have been over the top delicious with a few more minutes in the oven. My son ordered the chicken sandwich and I ordered the black bean wrap. His chicken sandwich looked nothing like the menu photo, no crispy breading, and it was, along with the bun, very dry. My black bean wrap, when I picked it up, revealed a black charred underside. I could peel away the part that was charred, so I did. The black bean burger (which is why it's called a black bean wrap) was completely charred. It was again tasty, but burnt. I think this too would have been very good had it not had the wrap and the burger burnt (blackened). Also, don't go by the photo, it's literally the Gardein burger folded into the wrap. We will certainly give B&B another try, we did get a Reuben to go that tasted great. Maybe we just got them a bad day. (Austin did comp the wrap, which I appreciated, but I would have rather had a good meal). read more

The staff is very attentive. I didn't have to wait for the server to come back around to take orders, refill drinks, or bring the check. The food: OMG....that burger!!!!!! I had the Chef Seth Burger and it was perfect. The beef melted in my mouth and it wasn't an asphalt burger. My request to leave off the bacon was kindly offered. Buns were also toasted with butter. In all, it was a great burger. The seating was comfortable and we weren't bunched in next to other diners. We had our own private area. Casual environment without the casual feel. Tables had clean linens. I also like the butchery feel of having my burger served on butcher paper. Little things like that add a nice touch. Even if you are not in the Canton area, this restaurant is definitely worth the drive. read more

The Monday night fillet special with a Demi-glaze and mashed potatoes ranges from life-changingly delicious to a bit overdone and just pretty good, but it is a great value either way at $12 for the 6 oz or $22 for the 10 oz. If you get the salad instead of the green beans (which are fresh but too crunchy/uncooked for my liking), it's an additional $3 with the special, and that's worth it, too, since they are fresh mixed spring mix and seem to have homemade dressing -- the chipotle ranch is different and yummy -- and they each come with a tiny but tasty croissant with honey butter. My son gets the $5 Mac n cheese with fruit salad from the kids menu, and it is high quality also -- no powdered Kraft stuff here! Tonight, however, I was completely grossed out to pull a very long dark hair (that was definitely NOT mine!) out of the bite of steak I was chewing. I showed it to the waitress when she asked if I was finished (yes!) and she apologized and took it away, but there was no other mention of it and no discount or other accommodation for it. No manager came to the table. No one at the front desk asked how everything was on the way out. So instead of telling them, I am telling you. I'm kicking myself for not taking a picture of it before she whisked it away. I only had a couple of bites left and I'm sure people try to scam restaurants all the time by faking stuff like that after they've nearly polished everything off, so I understand them being hesitant to bend over backwards, but I think I am done with this place. This is somewhat devastating because we have trained ourselves to stop going out on the weekend so that we will have the funds available to splurge for the big steaks on Monday nights. We found this place on Yelp looking for a restaurant that would have gluten free options for my wife. We arrived around 4:30 on a Sat and plenty of seats available. We opted to sit outside in a covered area which was nice. Beer options are ok but could be better especially for stouts / porters. The tap is constantly revolving so you should find something you like. My wife had the grilled salmon which was excellent and seasoned perfectly. I had the Cajun pasta which was also excellent. We went here for Mother's Day brunch. We got there early as instructed. They told us to wait outside until they get us; 30 mins past the appointment time, my husband decided to go in to check. Guess what! They completely forgotten about us!!! By the time we went inside, we were all sweaty from waiting outside under the hot sun, and the line for the food was sooooo long!!! So much for getting there early- what a great start! Most of all, the food was below mediocre: We paid $36/person for bacon drenched in its own fat, cold potatoes and gas station pastry ... ( Omelet station was nowhere to be found-apparently they ran out of space-then never informed us ahead that we had to order through server if we wanted omelet. Meat carving station was hidden in the back corner; again nobody informed us about it ahead either) They pitched us like there will be rainbows and unicorns when we called to ask about Mother's Day special.. Lol After this shenanigan, I still had to pay $36x4 plus tips. Nobody came over to apologize or offer anything. - we were completely ignored. The service is impeccable. I wasn't as impressed with the food but I'm going to give them one more try bc we really enjoyed our time here. Again, the service was EXCELLENT. We tried the pub steak. It was good but not excellent. The fritters that came with it was excellent. We also tried the fish and chips. There was a lot of fish but the breading was also a lot. The $3 jalapeño bites were great for the money. The jalapeños were fresh but thin so not too hot. The craft beer selection was very good. Speciality drinks were 9-12. The Yelp SeatMe reservation feature worked flawlessly- I was greeted like a star when I walked in (think they recognized me from my profile pic) & was seated right away. I recommend this feature because although they've not even been open a year, this place fills up fast! The menu is original full of indulgent choices. I opted for semi healthy and went with the steak and egg with brussel sprouts as the appetizer (officially my favorite vegetable). Dinner was so good, I came back the following week to try the octopus appetizer on creamy sauce (seafood lovers rejoice) along with the $10 prime rib deal. Hubby and I had a nice date night. The parking can be a bit limited (we had to park around back). I was a little taken aback to find our table "cloth" was actually a sheet of paper. Interesting. The prices were a little more than I expected given the $$ rating on yelp. It should probably be rated $$$. But that aside, it was worth it. I got a chefs burger and my husband got the waffle and chicken sandwich. I must say it's the best burger I have had in a LONG time: very juicy and flavorful. The cheese was a thick slice and melted perfectly. My husband enjoyed his sandwich. He did say if it had honey instead of the syrup then it would have been perfect! The fries on the other hand were slightly undercooked and bland. They were really lackluster. I could have totally done without them. The noise level was great most of the time: until they turned the music on/up. :( The staff were very attentive. Everything came out in a timely manner. In fact we had to pick up my daughter and only allotted an hour, we were in and out in 45 min. If we're back in canton, we will definitely be stopping here again. I don't know what a gastro pub is but I like this place hahaha. The chicken and waffles sandwich is no sandwich lol. It's a monster that must be attacked with a knife and fork. Juicy chicken, perfectly cooked waffles, and that sweet sauce sweeping over every bit of the palate is absolutely fantastic. But, I did notice a few bites here and there that the chicken's a bit bland. That happens when the seasoning is all in the breading and not in the actual chicken marinade. All in all I like the atmosphere, the waiter I had was awesome, I just gave it four stars because I only give five stars to restaurants that make me screaming to go back and eat. Like seriously child in the grocery store rolling on the ground screaming. I'd definitely go back to Butchers, but I just...not screaming, not rolling...yet. read more

I have to say this place continues to amaze me! My mom had the vegetarian meal (which was one of the best she has ever had) ant I had the mahi mahi. We have tried almost everything in the menu and no disappointments have happened. Pete had been our server many times and she takes amazing card of you. The bacon was excellent. I was hoping it was locally sourced but was told it's from Ohio. One quibble - the "BBQ sauce" was actually a sriracha mayonnaise and was too hot and ill suited for the r\est of the burger. The french fries were incredibly good - hot, fresh, crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. Even the iced tea was excellent - fresh and a strong tea taste. The service matched the food. We ate here on a recent Sunday, around 5pm. The place had just opened up for business around 430 pm so it was sparsley populated.The hostess seated us in booth. The only issues started when she seated a couple in a booth next to us and behind us. We asked our server to move across the dining area to a side where no one else was around, due to COVID concerns. The server was understanding but the hostess seemed confused. Overall, the food was good. My burger came out under cooked but they quickly prepared another to the correct temperature, no questions.
