Some dear friends ordered several pizzas from this restaurant for their daughter's birthday party. It looked great! We each got a piece; 4 slices from 3 different pizzas. EVERY. SINGLE. This is more of a dive bar than a restaurant. It's filled with locals that all seem to know each other but that are also friendly to new comers as myself. I ordered a large combo pizza to-go for around $21 with taxes that give you 10 slices. The pizza reminds me of the Costco combo pizza, same flavors but with a much better crust here. B & J's crust has a good crunch and well seasoned around the edges. I am not a crust person but I will finish this crust by itself or dipped into a sauce. Service can be slow at night when the "bar" is full; since there is only one waiter and one bar tender and they get spread out a bit thin. But they are friendly and will help you out once you flag them down or ask about the status of your order. But I have mixed feelings about returning since the pizza is a bit on the pricey side. Do I give up a great crust for almost the same pizza at Costco and save $10? Don't know, I'll maybe just come here to watch a game, have some beers with friends, and then I can justify a pricey pizza since I will be enjoying the atmosphere too. read more

Horrible service. We stopped in on the recommendation of a friend and were treated like lepers. The bartender told us the empty tables were reserved and then just stared at us. Damn good pizza. Plenty of cheese and toppings. Crust is cooked quite well actually. Not too soggy/soft and not too crunchy. Cooked just right. And it's a bit thick. But I couldn't eat the end of the crust. It's a bit bland. Overall tho,,, it's a damn good pizza. Much better than the fast food chains. (Pizza Hut/dominoes/papa johns etc) oh and they have large mugs of beer for like $4. I always enjoy a large mug of beer while I wait for my pizza. Solid place!! As far as customer service goes,,,, keep in mind it's a mom and pop shop. They made a mistake on my pizza which I didn't notice until I arrived home. I took pictures as proof and called to report the mistake. Although I took pics they demanded I bring it back to receive the correct order. (I wanted to leave the pizza at home and go get a new one) Upon my return the bartender looked at the pizza to verify my claim. Once she admitted the mistake, I was able to get a new pizza. But that wasn't good enough. I had to drive back so I wanted a coupon or something. NOPE!! As I was leaving and clearly bothered by the situation, the bartender (they only person working besides the cook) offered to let me keep the original pizza. OMG!!! REALLY!! That's what I originally wanted!! That did it for me!! After that I complained until she created a 50% off coupon for my next order. Basically had to tell her how to keep customers. read more

Ordered a "Giant" pepperoni and Mushroom Last week. Pizza was huge and delicious! I like that they don't use too much sauce.

We've been here several times thinking MAYBE this time will be different but was wrong. The regulars are usually wasted & leave there drunk and driving. We went again tonight 4/10/19 ordered food which took 40min and food was just ok, the bartender never came to us asking if we would like another drink, she was to busy chatting with the girls sitting at the bar. I heard this place had great food, so I thought I'd give it a try. I didn't have time to order pizza, so I got the pizza bread, a salad, and an iced tea to go. My experience with this food was pretty bad. First of all, the iced tea tasted like dirt - I had to throw it out when I got outside. I asked that they went easy on the cheese on the pizza bread. When I opened my to go bag, half of the lettuce on my salad was brown and wilted and when I got to the pizza bread, it was luke-warm with about one teaspoon of sauce and five cups of cheese! This could be good if you really like cheese and want to spend the rest of the afternoon in the bathroom! Since that wasn't what I wanted, I had to pick it all off and attempt to eat around it. This seems like a fun place to go with friends to watch Monday night football while having some beers and being just buzzed enough that the pizza tastes amazing. I'll probably try it out again, but if it's a bad experience again, then this place is dead to me! read more
