    Thai tea with boba
    Amy N.

Milk tea spot next to ClawShack! My friend and I came here after eating crawfish next door because I was craving something matcha or hojicha. It was empty when we came inside on a weekday, but the cashier was so sweet and friendly. I got the hojicha latte to try and my friend got the brown sugar milk tea. I also got my boyfriend a Thai tea with boba along with some of their ube and hazelnut pastries. My friend and boyfriend said the pastries were delicious and sweet. The Thai tea and brown sugar milk tea tasted exactly like how you would expect it to. I enjoyed my hojicha latte especially since I saw the lady whisking it too. It was interesting because there was actually black sesame seeds on top of the cream, but it ended up pairing well with the hojicha. Nothing bad to say about this place really. I'll try the matcha next time we get crawfish next door again.

X Tea is the previous owner. Though, the signage is still up. But, B Cafe is the new tea spot. Remodeled and updated interior. Modern, darker interior. One coded unisex restroom. The owner was friendly and helpful. A good selection of tea drinks, etc and some desserts. I ordered the Ceylon Milk Tea and added grass jelly for an additional charge. The tea was an earthy, subtle floral but with a creaminess. Support your local business.

Earl grey matcha, DAHONGPAO MILK TEA

This seems to be rebranded as X Tea and is located behind the main buildings of the plaza so it was a little hard to find in the corner of a lot. Stopped by quickly and they were very nice and speedy with their service. They have some unique options for drinks - ended up with earl grey matcha and dahongpao milk tea. I liked the blend with the matcha and the drink was smooth. The tea drink was nicely sweetened and the tea flavor came through. There is no outdoor seating here. It's located in a smaller parking lot.

    Strawberry Matcha, Jasmine Milk Tea

Spacious, indoor seating, small bakery items. Formerly known as X tea. Surprisingly pretty good, I would come here again to try their other drinks! Drinks: - Strawberry Matcha Cream Top Latte - strawberry on both top and bottom. Love the strawberry but the matcha is subtle. - Jasmine Milk Tea w/ honey and crystal boba - strong tea flavor, can taste the jasmine for sure, creamy. The honey boba is the perfect consistency, soft and chewy.

Pretty good! I ordered the Hojicha tea with salted cream foam. It had a nice depth of flavor but I do wish the foam was more cheesy/salty. My husband enjoyed his mango jasmine tea, describing it as fresh and not artificial tasting. Nice seating area to catch up with friends and if you're wanting a snack, they offer baked goods at the counter for purchase. Establishment is clean and service was friendly. We'll be back to try other flavors!

    Pandan Paradise

There were plenty of parking spots in this plaza. When you arrive, you'll see the sign says X Tea. I ordered the pandan paradise and it was really good. The barista told me they put 2 shots in their coffee drinks which is good to know. I enjoyed how strong and tasty my drink was. Would love to see a black sesame latte on their menu in the future.

Stopped by because we were in the area and my daughter could never pass up an opportunity for watermelon juice. First and foremost, signage outside states the business name being XTea but apparently they are/have transitioned to B Cafe?? Confusing yes, but does it really matter?? I'd say no. As mentioned above, we stopped by strictly for the watermelon juice [which ended up being a slushy]. Good because it was very apparent that fresh watermelon was actually used but the drink in itself was extremely bland. It honestly tasted like the parts closest to the rinds were the only bits used. 3 star because the drink was quenching and XTea/B Cafe genuinely uses whole fruit but I expected better flavor and more sweetness due to watermelons actually being in peak season.

    Caffe Einspanner is

It used to be X-tea. This place has changed their name and I assume new ownership. I came here on a whim and ordered a Einspanner. I was excited to see this on the menu since I've only had it in LA. I am so glad I ordered it. It is is so YUMMY! The strong deep coffee flavor, the creaminess and the sweetness was balanced and perfect. 10/10

    BAMBOO OOLONG MILK TEA
    Eunice T.

Unique flavor - my first time trying bamboo oolong tea. It's definitely interesting, but it's not for everyone. The owner knew that and was very friendly about offering alternatives if we didn't like our drink. It wasn't for me, but my fiance liked it. Having the cream add on helped. My friend had to exchange hers though. She ordered less sweet, and I didn't like that either. The bamboo taste is strong. Like I said, it's interesting, but may not suit everyone's taste bud. One main reason I chose to order the bamboo tea was for the bamboo cup sleeve. Unfortunately, they're no longer including those. Apparently it's getting too expensive for them to import it (it is handmade, and I think they said it was ~$1.50 per sleeve). My friend liked his peach oolong milk tea. Based on that + the super friendly service from the owner, I'll round the review up to 4 stars.

    MATCHA
    Alayna K.

We tried their early grey matcha (8.5/10!) and Matcha with strawberry puree (8/10) , and both did not disappoint! The Matcha was strong and the strawberry purée was nice and fresh, with real strawberry inside. It took us about 10 minutes to make all of our drinks, and we will definitely be back!

First time coming here, and I was just looking for a good caffeine fix, but this spot ended up being such a nice surprise. It's a pretty unassuming cafe from the outside, but the atmosphere inside was super chill and relaxing, and the menu had a lot of great options. I tried one of the hojicha lattes and honestly loved it. They make the tea fresh right in front of you, which made it feel a lot more special, and the flavor was so smooth and comforting without being too sweet (even with reg sweetness...forgot to ask for less sweet). Definitely a spot I'd come back to when I want a cozy place to grab a drink.

    Mango Hojicha & Strawberry Matcha
    Stephanie L.

The Mango Hojicha was actually really good. I've only tried strawberry hojicha once before, and I thought that flavor paired well too. The hojicha had a strong, bold taste, which made it really enjoyable. I didn't really like the strawberry matcha drink, though--the flavor was too light and didn't have enough matcha taste.

THAI TEA with boba CHEESY BERRY All great
    Joyce T.

Visited on y warm Sunday afternoon, surprisingly quiet inside, the staff was very attentive, we got Thai milk tea with boba, 50% sugar is the right sweetness and the boba is soft just the way I like. Cheesy berry awesome too. Like the K-pop mv vibe.

Sweet enough to still taste like a little treat but the matcha flavor still came through, and it wasn't grainy at all. The whipped cream on top was delicious and lightly sweetened, which I loved. I ordered for pickup via DoorDash and my order was ready when I arrived. Very quick service and friendly barista. The interior is pretty casual with 4 small tables inside for seating. Very clean and modern. There's a bit of merch at the entrance of the store. The shop is also located conveniently next to an apartment complex. For drinks, I ordered a hot Hojicha Latte and the next time I was there, I ordered an iced Strawberry Hojicha Latte, and both were good. I also tried a Calamansi Green Jasmine Tea and it was a bit sour. After adjusting sugar and ice levels, and watering it down, I still didn't like it. The barista offered to make me a new drink and I loved what I replaced it with. Really appreciated the effort and kindness. Love this cafe and hope to be back soon for more muffins, more tea, and more capybara cuteness!

Personally I am not as big of a fan of banana matcha but he loved how there are crunchy breadcrumbs(?) on top of the cream paired with the strong matcha as usual. Feels more like a dessert than a drink lol Raspberry cream matcha (7/10) - This also felt more like a dessert. I was surprised that the only matcha part of it was the cream top (so it's not a matcha latte). Would recommend this if you are into fruity creamy drinks where matcha flavor is not necessarily the main star of the show Service is standard, you don't really interact with the workers as you can order online or via the kiosk without ever having to talk to a single person if you're feeling antisocial. In short, the boba as hard, the drinks were interesting but don't think we'll be coming back. L O C A T I O N Pekoe is located in a small plaza with dedicated parking that's shared with the other establishments. I did easily find parking but I could imagine it being hard to find parking during peak times. I N S I D E There are some seating areas which is nice. But it was pretty dead and basically a kiosk to order your drinks. No one was at the front as I'm sure they were in the back making the drinks. M E N U They had a variety of drinks with some special naming conventions. The drinks start at $6.50 and you can do a split cup so you can try more than one drink but it will cost a dollar more. But primarily drinks are milk teas and fruit teas. I kind of wish they just had standard milk teas and you can add your own toppings. Maybe there was a way to do this but nothing stood out when I was ordering at the kiosk. I got a Black Dragon which was an oolong with grass jelly and my hubby got the Foxy Brown which was a brown sugar milk tea with honey black boba. I got to taste his boba and it was so hard. He was like, maybe it's al dente...no this was not cooked thoroughly. My drink tasted chocolatey which I didn't mind. It was an interesting oolong taste profile. The grass jelly was fine. S E R V I C E Kiosk was fine. Easily paid by credit card. Drinks came out in a timely manner. O V E R A L L Although I didn't mind my drink, I wouldn't go back for the boba itself. The drinks were fine but when bobas start to be almost $7 a drink, there's just other options that I would prefer with menus that are a little more flexible. But I would say try them out still and decide for yourself!
