Three and a half stars, but I'll round up :). The service here is friendly and they never hesitate to get you the samples you might want. Portions are great for the price! I like how they have tons of flavors but the taste needs some working on. For example, the salted caramel has way too much caramel. I noticed that a lot of their ice creams with extra additions end up tasting overly sweet, like I'm going to develop diabetes eating it, lol. I'll be back if I'm in the area though! Also love how they have ice cream cakes! Id pick those over Baskin Robbins or Coldstone any day! read more

We were excited to go here but ended up walking out. The guy working had a mouthful of chew tobacco and was spitting into a cup on the counter. Made us lose our appetite for ice cream and our love for this spot. read more

Their ice cream tastes pretty good, but is way overpriced. I recommend buying a tub of Alden's ice cream, which is a far better value and much tastier, as well as being organic. read more

Omg -the Kahlua krunch was amazing and rich. The view of the water and impromptu Bon Jovi karaoke on the street was an added bonus !

My parents had been here before and had an ice cream they were dying for me to try.... Oregon Trail... YUMMMMMMY! Chocolate ice cream with huckleberry syrup, and local hazelnuts. I actually had it in a sundae which had whip cream, hot fudge, nuts and a cherry on top. So it was even more yummy. We give it a 3 because the atmosphere wasn't that great.. the service was ho hum.. we didn't even get a smile... If I worked there I would be giddy working around all these goodies! read more

Well it's sad the only ice cream store in Florence is terrible I LOVE ice cream but don't like it here I'll be honest was only there once however EvERY TUB of ice cream looked old and were maybe 1/3 left in each container It might be nice if owner had smaller containers so the ice cream would be FRESH After viewing all the availability flavors both my husband I decided NO WAY They just looked really not clean an fresh So we went to their salt waster taffy an choose several flavors about 2 pounds WOW not good at all They were all very HARD to chew an tasted terrible We threw the bag away Wasted time an money How about someone opening. 31 flavors!!! We have been up to Ashland many times over the years from California and we always make a point of working our plans around their ice cream shop there. I have nver had such smooth, creamy tasty ice cream anywhere and the price is certainly reasonable. My favorite (although I admit it is the only one I have tried due to the fact that it is perfect) is Oregon Trail. Two of my very favorite things in life: Chocolate and Blackberry (althought I noticed others say it is marionberry or huckleberry, so I could be wrong). My husband has tried the Black Walnut and Pistachio and he said they were also the best he has ever tasted. The place is always clean and usually has friendly staff but we have been there on occasion when the gals were grumpy. Anywhere else that would make me vow to never return, but here nothing is keeping me from my Oregon Trail. read more

What isn't there to say about B'J's Ice Cream. With old fashioned ice cream served up by friendly staff and coca cola signs plastered up around the inside, it recreates an old fashioned feel to it. The ice cream is the best I have ever had and couldn't compare it to anything I have ever tried. With over 150 flavors of taffy, it was hard for me to choose just a few flavors. The ice cream is made out back in the creamery using an old family recipie. With flavors like Bittersweet Nugget, Raspberry Sorbet and Turtle, it was difficult to decide on one flavor. So I chose two! B'J's is one of those "must stops" on your way down the coast.... The best..... read more

idk about the ice cream but the owner put a post on craigslist (San Diego) for a t shirt designer and as a freelance graphic designer i spent a good 5 hours on a design to submit. Upon submission the owner replied with some pretty time consuming edits.... i replied with "i don't mind just wanna know that time will be worth it in the end." their reply was that they would choose the best design after reviewing them all...... implying that they're having people do design work for them with no real intention of using it..................... i haven't heard back on whether or not they wanted to use it. good thing the file i sent them had my biz watermark on it..... read more

I love their Oregon Trail icecream- blending all types of Oregon grown goodness such as hazelnuts and marionberries. I would travel over an hour to eat clam chowder at Mo's and enjoy two scoops of Oregon Trail icecream. :) Now if only I can eat it down here in California now. read more

Fantastic ice cream. Got the pistachio almond and coconut crunch in a dipped waffle cone. Amazed at how good it was.

We look forward to visiting the coast mainly to come to BJs. Rocky road and peanut butter chocolate ice cream and assorted sour salt water taffy. Not cheap but definitely worth the treat. Our last visit was on a gorgeous, sunny day and we were able to eat our ice cream on the benches by the water in t-shirts and shorts while our dog met some new puppies playing in the grassy area. read more

Hurrah for BJ's. The ice cream is great, but the carmel apples are to die for.
