We stayed at the Peabody hotel in which the B-Line Diner is located recently while attending a convention. After checking in, we went to the B-Line around 10:40 pm to get some dinner. We were the only ones waiting, and there was lots of help working and several open tables. However, we had to wait nearly 20 minutes to be seated. After we received our order, our server failed to come back to check on us until we were finished with our meals. I had a bottle of ketchup that could not be opened, and since our server never came back, I had to do without. I will admit that our food was quite good (although my fries could have used a bit of ketchup), and the portions were fairly large, which is why they get more than a single star. However, I expect much better service from a restaurant with this type of reputation in a high-class resort, especially with what they charge for fairly simple items. While we stayed for several days at the hotel, we did not return to the B-Line, and recommended to our friends to stay away as well. read more

This place is exactly what it says it is, a diner... Don't expect much, although the breakfasts are decent and filling. As like any other hotel restaurant expect to pay too much for the quality of food you will receive. read more

Terrible experience. We arrived at 9:20, but this is a 24 hour diner so it's not like they were closing soon. Place was not packed. Took some time to be seated, maybe 10 minutes. Not bad, we were seated and then immediately greeted by our waitress. We were ready with our water, drinks and food order as we had already picked out our meals ahead of time. This was key as we just arrived after traveling and were tired. We were anticipating the speediness of a diner reputation. She took our order and we waited... and waited... and waited 25 minutes without even receiving our waters! 25 MINUTES AND NO WATERS EVEN DROPPED OFF. She never stopped to explain or apologize. We complained to the manager and proceeded to leave. The waitress then proceeded to try and catch us but we already were a good 30 yards out of the restaurant, she yelled at us that she dropped off our waters now and that our food order was in. We did not return despite being yelled at by our waitress in front of strangers. So we didn't try the food but that was our experience. read more

Food is Average dinner type food like denny's food at high end restaurant prices. would be nice to stay at a nice hotel and not get just ripped a new one cause of the location. This food should be priced in accordance with the industry. I would love to see a chain that believes in quality customer service at reasonable prices, not just gouge people cause they are at a convention or on vacation. most people that stay go out for meals due to the out of this world prices this makes getting your car a hassle and then coming back and waiting to park is another hassle you end up taking half a day to get brunch, time that could be better spent poolside with a cold beverage!! read more

The quality of food here is terrible. What a huge disappointment...particularly when they could so easily be great. Ordered a pastrami sandwich. My first alarm bell should have been that the description said there was tomato on it and it was served on multi grain bread. I told them to hold the tomato and switch to rye. But never did I imagine I would get an ice cold pile of pastrami with a slice of cheese (also ice cold) and lettuce. Who does that?? I've never had a pastrami sandwich served that wasn't hot. Never occurred to me it would come any other way. At least they didn't put mayonnaise in it. The fries were terrible and the Caesar salad tasted like it came straight from a grocery store prepackaged bag. Even the chocolate milkshake that they offered by way of an apology was awful. My friend had the "blue plate special " which was "fish parmesan". Not sure why she thought that sounded good but she took a chance. It was beyond awful. Chunks of some sort of breaded fish on a plate of pasta tossed in jarred sauce. The whole thing was such a bad experience. read more

I was here for 8 long days with really crappy food options. B-Line Diner is the restaurant that is open either late or 24/7, and I believe some items on the room service and pool service menu come from this kitchen. My first lunch experience was the Asian chicken salad. It contained my least favorite green, iceberg lettuce, and was really sloppy. It's like they bought it in bulk at Costco and just threw in ingredients to make it more Asian. All that was missing was providing chopsticks instead of forks. I had the tortilla soup which was incredibly watery, but tasted okay. Later at night I got the spaghetti Bolognese. Again, watery sauce. Microwaved meals from Trader Joes would have been better. I grabbed a quick sandwich to-go via their express window. I believe I got the chicken breast sandwich. And for another comparison, 7-11 has better tasting sandwiches with a whole lot less of needless breading. And finally, my pool lunch was the Caesar salad and hummus. Not surprisingly, unimpressed. Everything tastes like it's mass produced with little thought given to flavor. I would just pay a little bit more and eat at Napa on the other end for lunch. read more

brunch for 10, and everyone was happy. b-line took on the very tough task that is my family! favorites at the table: BROWN SUGAR MAPLE BACON: duh. done perfectly. how could this not be delicious. EGG WHITE OMELETTE: OK. a nice healthy option. but lets face it, i stole the bacon, hashbrowns, and peanut butter french toast off of my sisters' plates. they call me 'garbage disposal' for a reason... GRAPEFRUIT BRULEE: burnt sugar and grapefruit? of course. yes please. PEANUT BUTTER FRENCH TOAST: definition of indulgent. a little sweet to have a whole meal of it, but was psyched to have a bite. a lovely place to take the fam when you're forced to be on international drive - the peabody is a respite from the masses of chain restaurants that crowd this crazy street. additionally, the live ducks in one of the lobbies are easy entertainment for the younguns' in the fam! read more

Friendly and helpful staff. The eggs benedict is good. Have Starbucks coffee, but it's not a real Starbucks store. Leave early before a break if their is a convention otherwise you won't get a seat. read more

Ate lunch here 4/15/17 while at the Star Wars convention cross the way. I can't even describe how awesome the food was!! My BF had the mac and cheese!! He loved it! I had an omelet with hash browns! No complaints whatsoever. The creamsicle milkeshake was worth the $$ as well! I didn't want it to end ahah! Our server was Chris from Cheshire, CT. Came here recently. No major complaints. Standard fare and polite/prompt service. The food is good. You'll like it if you're staying at the Orlando Hyatt Regency or attending something at the Convention Center due to the convenience. You'll pay a little for that, but not as much as most other hotel restaurants which are outlandish. Pretty good spot to try overall. read more

I was staying at the Peabody Hotel with my hubby for a conference for an entire week and ended up eating a ton of meals here, breakfast lunch and dinner. :-p The food is actually really good. The lobster mac and cheese is heavenly and you will be glad you have a fridge in your room because it is massive and lasted me like 3 meals! The breakfast menu is pretty straight forward but also tasty, and they have a quick "takeout" counter attached for to go orders. Lastly but also important they have their own bakery with desserts that looked awesome. I wasn't able to try one but wish I could have. Service here is also always friendly and very quick. read more

This place is awesome. Full open kitchen w counter seats right at the chefs. Delicious food. Perfect eggs. Serious bacon and thick marble bread. Great menu options and 24 hour service. Of course restaurants in nice hotels are going to be pricy. The prices here were pretty reasonable for what you get. The portions are good. The food though, seems to be lacking creativity and flavor. The atmosphere is casual and inviting. I would recommend eating here if you are super hungry, but not if you want an all around awesome meal! read more

I've never had a meal here, so I'm not sure about their entrees, but the B-line diner is a good place to come for dessert and after-dinner drinks. The sweet supply is large, and the cakes are pretty decadent. I usually swing for a cappuccino if I'm here. read more

The food was ok. The service was horrible. Had to ask for everything we needed. When she dropped the food off, rather than check to see if we needed anything she just left the table with no word. It was not busy and I guess they were transitioning from breakfast to lunch because while we were eating another server came over and without a word juts removed the jelly caddy off our table. Ok now how do I put jelly on my toast that is sitting in front of me? It will be a long time before we return here. Not only is it the closest thing to the conference center, 5 mins walk across the street and through a beautiful hotel, but it's really good. Everyone liked their food both days we went here and the service was good. Great variety of choices too for picky eaters! And the dessert counter is all eye candy in more ways than one. 1. Open late night. 2. This ain't no skimpy menu. Everything from a classic burger (grass fed!!) to Moroccan salmon (whatever that is). And lots of GF options, too! You'll have a hard time choosing something. Even the dessert menu is insanely good. 3. Beer & wine are served. 4. Amazing service, especially if you happen to get Marteen as your server. He's the bomb. 5. The food. Scrumptious! The only negative? It's at the far end of the Hyatt Regency. You'll have to pay to park in the garage (or pay for valet) and then walk a ways to get there. I was trapped in this hotel for a work conference and wanted an alternative to the overpriced and fancy hotel restaurant and bar so I was thrilled to see this little diner on the other side of the hotel. I was that guy asking for a 'table for one', but the waiter was very attentive and my burger came within 10 minutes of ordering. The food is nothing special, but the burger was cooked well and the fries were nice and crispy so no complaints on my end. The real star here are the desserts. Homemade ice cream and a huge glass counter at the front with all sorts of cakes and individual pastries. read more

This diner, tucked away in the back of the Peabody hotel, across the street from the Orlando convention hall was a great treat after a long morning manning our show booth. Great diner decor and excellent club and Reuben sandwiches. One day I sat at the counter and talked with one of the chefs and servers who had been there for 15 years. The next day I took the food out to the hotel lobby area to lounge among the rich and glamorous... if you count rich car dealers as glamorous. read more

We just returned from a week long stay at The Peabody. The Hotel was fabulous but the diner was......blahhhh. The first night we tried it for dinner and the waiter was so rude, I was shocked. My senior citizen mother met us for dinner and he was practically verbally attacking her and everything she asked for was unavailable....no decaf tea, no sourdough bread...come on. We tried it again for a late day snack on our third day there. The waitress was sweet and helpful and the Sweet Potato fries were quite possible the best i have had but the Hummus was definitely the worst I have ever had. I cant believe they even put that on the plate it so was bad. Bottom line...love the hotel but the B-Line Diner is more like the F-Line Diner. read more

This diner isn't worth a special trip, but if you're staying at the Peabody it's a good place for breakfast. I also had dessert here, and it was pretty tasty. Haven't had dinner or lunch. The service is fast, and the food is pretty good. The orange juice is delicious. Prices are steep, but that's to be expected for a hotel restaurant. For dessert, I highly recommend the polka dot cake. read more

I ordered the grill cheese and fries. It appeared to be more of a gourmet in that it was on sourdough and had multiple types of cheese on it. When it arrived it had a lot of bread and minimal cheese. All I could taste was the sourdough. The fries I was not able to eat. They looked delicious but it tasted as though they had been fries with fish and that was all I could taste, even ketchup couldn't cover up the fish taste. Service was great food was terrible. Diner atmosphere but not diner prices as it was $11 for grilled cheese & fries. read more
