    Ropa Vieja Trio Tacos
    Cynthia A.

I ordered the Ropa Vieja Trio Tacos to go. The taco meat was good but there was hardly any of the pickled onions or most of the toppings as described. It was just a mess of meat and cheese with a couple onions. I didn't walk far from the restaurant to my villa and it had already gotten extremely soggy so it was difficult to eat. The bartender was nice and friendly. The restaurant itself is nice and quiet. I also ordered the chips and salsa. Some of the chips were stale. The salsa tasted like picante sauce from a jar. This definitely was not worth $8.50.

What a nice surprise in the Double Tree by Hilton Orlando Seaworld! We were tired and hungry after a long day and had an excellent experience for dinner. I got a salad with chicken which was scrumptious! My niece got a turkey sandwich which came with a kale salad which she enjoyed. My 7 year old nephew raved about his pizza and fries- doesn't get much better than that! Service and ambience were great too!

Laguna is the restaurant located in the DoubleTree by Hilton. The staff here are extremely friendly and professional and thevplace has a nice enough ambiance. This restaurant is located just off of the back patio and an overall decent enough hotel restaurant. We had the breakfast buffet here and it was pretty much your standard hotel breakfast buffet. I had some scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, breakfast potatoes (basically home fries) and I added sausage gravy over everything. I also had toast and coffee. Our server made sure that our coffee mugs were kept filled and all in all, our breakfast was a decent enough experience. Remember that breakfast is the most important meal of the day and Laguna provided a fine start to our day. If you are here at the DoubleTree by Hilton, make sure that you grab breakfast here.

Service was fast. Kevin was really nice and helpful when we had questions. Ordered a whiskey mash drink- very sweet, alcohol forward but good overall taste Tiki tower for appetizer- plantains with pulled pork- cooked well. BBQ sauce was overly sweet. Plantains were also sweet: almost too sweet together. Good with sour cream to balance sweetness Mahi mahi blackened or tacos- two or tacos- bacon aioli was good, fish was well cooked. Overall pretty good. I would tweak the sweetness of the food but would come back.

Healthy Breakfast Options at the Buffet

Service was great at the breakfast buffet, which is complementary for two, but it's really not because you're paying a $25 "resort fee" daily. I'd recommend leaving a tip for the wait staff since they are there to offer drinks and clean up the tables. Our server was super friendly and accommodating by bringing us some Cholula hot sauce, almond butter (I guess they don't have peanut butter) and almond milk all complementary upon request. The buffet had a lot of options including an omelet station and plenty of vegan options as well. There were steamed veggies, breakfast potatoes, oatmeal, grits, bagels, etc.

We ate breakfast here for three days in a row & loved it! They have a lot of different options to pick & choose from, such as an omelet station, waffle station, various fruits, and breakfast potatoes/eggs/bacon/sausage. The staff was very friendly too, and the outdoor seating was covered with shade to stay cool during the summer. Overall, excellent breakfast spot to eat at!

After a dilemma checking into the hotel here, we opted to stay in for dinner and discovered Laguna. We asked to be seated outside away from the live music and they easily accommodated us. We waited and waited for a server, and finally reached out to a server passing by. She felt so bad that she said she would take care of us, and that she did. Ingrid turned out to be an amazing server and thoroughly enhanced our dining experience. The menu is fairly limited, but there is enough for everyone. We settled on the nacho appetizer and a few Yuenglings to start. It was happy hour so the beer was only $3.50. We ordered 4 at once since happy hour was over in 15 minutes. Once the nachos arrived, I ordered a bacon cheeseburger. The nacho platter was huge, and at first I was underwhelmed as it just looked like a bit of cheese melted on top. When we moved the cheese, there was tons of chili underneath and it was all super yummy. I wished I hadn't even ordered the sandwich as these were filling, and I really liked them. They were hot, and there was plenty for 4 people to share (but we were only 2) Next, the burger and fries came. The burger was cooked perfectly and the fries were hot and crunchy. Ingrid continued to check in on us and make sure we were happy. I don't give 5 stars out all the time, but this dining experience definitely deserved it.

Dulce De Leche Cheesecake was huge and tasted well but the Raspberry Key Lime Pie was dry hard and not as easy to enjoy as the cheesecake. The Hawaian burguer has a mixed flavor of sweet pineapple and bacon and overall ok. I enjoyed the fries more than I thought I would. They were were crunchy and quite enjoyable. I sat outside with a pool view. Both times I went and all servers were nice.

This place was very tropical. It is inside the Doubletree Hilton hotel . It is at the back of the hotel . The restaurant is on the terrace which was beautifully decorated. We're seated quickly and our server tried to answer any questions we had. When the food was served, it was pictured perfect. I thought I was eating like a chef from Food Network. One of our entrees was the sweet and spicy ribs served with Parmesan fried that was Devine, excellent taste along with coleslaw. Second entree was key West shrimp and scallops served with pasta. The shrimps were quite nice size along with the scallops. You could see what you were eating and not have to dig for them. The plates were unique in design The food had lots of color. The presentation made you want to eat it with all the colors. You must try this place.

Spacious restaurant with ample seating at the bar to watch pretty much any game. Offerings are limited but if you are looking for a quieter, quality on site restaurant without leaving the property, it more than does its job. I recommend their bavarian pretzel appetizer, which can be its own meal or split with others in your party. Note: The server's gratuity is built into the bill.

Atmosphere - Good. Located in the Doubletree Hotel, the restaurant is relatively small. There are about a dozen located on an outside patio with a garden view. There was a person playing guitar and singing classical rock songs. Service - Outstanding! Our server ((Ingrid) has a great personality and made us feel welcome. She was very attentive and made our evening after having experienced a horrible check-in process. Food - Very Good. The menu is very limited and is for the most part offers pub-like food. We started with an order of loaded nachos and a couple of beers (they have a HappyHour selection). They were huge and excellent. I then ordered the Carnitas Tacos and they were very tasty. Overall Value - Great The prices are reasonable and service excellent. Do yourself a favor and don't stay at the hotel.

Our 2 "different" drinks. The orange on mine was so disgusting looking and tasted awful.

Awful drinks. Awful service. Jill sucks. Party of 3, all of us were extremely disappointed. Ordered 2 DIFFERENT drinks. Came out exactly the same. Same garnish. Tasted like overly sweet juice only. Ordered an espresso martini, tasted like espresso and 2% milk. No sweetness or liquor at all. Automatic 15% gratuity added for awful service and awful drinks. Save your time and money, go elsewhere. Simply: bad drinks, bad service, awful price. No redeeming qualities.

This place has one of the sweetest waiters (shout-out to Michael)! Thank you for taking care of our table! However, everything cooked here was all over cooked. We got the lobster ravioli, New York steak(medium),the chicken sandwich and the salmon. Everything felt super dry while eating but besides the overcooked, they all had a good balance in flavors! I highly recommend for you to get the guava bbq chicken flatbread (alittle on the sweet side due to the pineapples but so so good!) as well as their sweet potato fries! It's an add on order but def worth it!

It was bagged nicely and well organized. The omelette was a generous sized portion with plenty of tender chicken, peppers, and cheese. There was salsa to add a bit of flavor, but it tasted that it was made in New York City (if you remember that commercial ;) ). The white toast was soft and buttery, and the potatoes were good. My mom enjoyed the banana pecan waffles, and I took a couple bites as well. It was sinfully sweet and enjoyable, especially the bananas. And I must say the coffee was so good, it was even better than the Juan Valdez coffee that I make at home. Since I didn't visit the restaurant, I can't comment on the atmosphere. For a simple meal for two people, the service was unreasonably slow throughout the evening. Our server, Svet, was polite and personable, but friendliness alone could not make up for the delays. The hummus appetizer was excellent and was easily the highlight of the meal. It was flavorful and served with pita, cucumbers, carrots, and red peppers. The food presentation overall was attractive and showed promise. The most serious issue occurred when my son ordered a refill of his virgin mojito and was served a drink containing alcohol. He immediately noticed something was wrong after taking a sip and handed it to me. I tasted it as well and confirmed that it contained alcohol. Serving alcohol in a child's drink is a significant mistake and should never happen. We also ordered the steak frites based on a recommendation and were told it was exceptional. Unfortunately, the steak was extremely tough and chewy, making it difficult to eat and far from what was described. Management apologized and removed the steak from the bill, but the combination of excessive wait times, the alcohol mix-up involving a minor, and the disappointing entrée left a poor overall impression.

Our server was absolutely fantastic, friendly and very attentive. We started off the dinner with some fantastic deviled eggs and a lemon cello cocktail. I ordered the shrimp and grits and was really disappointed with the tiny, overcooked shrimp and crawfish that accompanied the slightly bland grits. Those triple chocolate cake pops were so decadent. The strawberry and whipped cream were a nice pallet cleanser in between nibbles. All in all it was a great time with delicious drinks and bites.

My fiance surprised me with an anniversary dinner here. Honestly, when I found out that it was on…read moreInternational Dr I was a little let down but that was probably because I was remembering I-Drive from when I was a kid and how it was very touristy. One can argue it's still that way, but I didn't think that this place was as nice as it was! We parked at the parking garage and walked over instead of doing valet. Even at 9pm this area was very busy, including this restaurant. We had a reservation and were led to a half-table/half booth opposite the bar area which was pretty loud from the the music but we made due. The decor is very Hamptons, NY, beach house vibes. The bathrooms were nearby kinda. You had to walk down a long hall to them but once you get there they are gorgeous, spacious and clean. I got one drink, the Cucumber Elderflower (vodka, st. germain, cucumber, lemon, basil oil) and it was beautiful looking. It tasted great as well. I tried to go easy on eating but that was hard lol. I personally got the half dozen raw oysters, half east coast and half west coast. My fiance got the Crab and Shrimp Bruschetta to share ( lump crab and shrimp with sweet chili aioli on crispy ciabatta). Wow, these were so delicious and creamy, not to mention the generous portion of crab and shrimp topping. This can get messy if you don't pay attention. I had ordered the Seafood Gnocchi (pillowy asiago gnocchi with shrimp, calamari, and P.E.I. mussels in a calabrian chili tomato garlic sauce) and he got the Blackened Sea Bass ( barramundi with coconut rice, broccolini, mango salsa, and spicy mango purée ). A manager had delivered these to our table and was very excited to come back later to see what we thought about these dishes as they were fairly new. I loved my gnocchi! the sauce was not too spicy but brought the right amount of heat and kick to the dish. The seafood was fresh but cheese inside the gnocchi was the star. So good! I never thought asiago could be so dang tasty. He loved his sea bass. I tasted a little bit of it and it was cooked perfectly, seasoned, flaky, and light. I had a really good dinner here and I'll think twice about I-Drive restaurants.

While we were indoors, we faced the outside bar area, so we had a mix of indoors and outdoors. The bartender was friendly and we had a good laugh with her over the grackle birds that think they are patrons. She was helpful with drink recommendations and the apps. For apps, we went with oysters and truffle fries. Everything was really good. This is a great place to stop if you are in the area. It's in a plaza that has a number of other establishments and parking is in a garage close by; easy walking distance.
