Was looking for a healthy lunch spot to try out on my way from LA to San Diego and decided to make this my stop. I have severe digestive issues so I need extremely simple and clean food within a very specific set of restrictions- no skins, low acid, gluten free, all the fun stuff- a three ingredient build a meal at a restaurant that isn't a kids meal is a dream I rarely get to see come true lol, so when I saw the simplicity I had to give it a try. I came in on a rainy Monday late afternoon, so very few people were in and there was one main chef/server on staff who was incredibly sweet and accommodating, I wish I got his name! He brought out my plate in around 10 minutes. I ordered a plate with sweet potato, seared tofu and steamed carrots with honey soy sauce, and it had to be the cleanest, highest quality, most straightforward meal I've ever had at a restaurant. To my surprise they use mashed japanese sweet potato rather than cubed with skins. They only use avocado oil, and just enough, no over the top oiliness at all- I haven't found anything else like it anywhere near me. The restaurant is spacious and lovely to eat in, there's water available as well. Came here for the first time yesterday. My neighbors recommended B Nutritious for a healthy meal. . .and it was! I normally do not eat red meat but decided to try their steaks and eggs with a side salad. The steak was nicely cut and arranged for me to easily eat. The salad was very fresh and tasty with their ranch and Asian side dressings mixed together. They even cut the salad in more bite-size pieces if you request. I really like this place! Since finding it last month, I've been here about 4-5 times. My favorite dish is their kung pao chicken and least favorite is their teriyaki beef, I've gotten it twice and both times the meat was dry/hard. I really appreciate them having macros on their website and the service is always very friendly. Ever since my wife and I have set our new health goals it's been really hard to find good places to eat at that won't destroy your progress. Luckily we ran into a newly established restaurant, B Nutritious. It's everything we wanted. The food is delicious and while it still remains healthy it doesn't sacrifice flavor. My personal favorite is the Sweet and Spicy Noodles with chicken. I really hope this place expands. More people need to try it, worth the hype. read more

I had already previewed other reviews so I was ready to try the pineapple fried rice and the peanut chicken. That's what a lot of people seemed to rave about. I also ended up ordering the pot stickers too just to try them. The serving sizes are a good portion - the rice could have served 3-4 people if you have it as a side. The peanut chicken could serve 2-3 people. Both were really good. And I liked their mustard base house sauces - one of the sauces has a good spiciness. Even if you don't like mustard, just give it a try. I'm not a big fan of mustard, but I liked it. The service was outstanding! There was a gal that explained everything to us - how to order and how the food is prepared. It was very helpful! I'd like to go back to try one of their protein shakes. They had a good assortment. So I said, what the hey! Yesss! I was pumped up when I got there. The cashier who helped me (I'm sorry I forgot your name) but he helped me yesterday and today as well (10/08/20) he was so friendly. I came in during lunch with two of my coworkers and there was no one else there. Maybe I just didn't know what to expect coming here, but I didn't think it was anything special. There was plenty of parking, and the seating area was quite spacious. You order at the counter and they bring the food to your table after you seat yourself. Check in on yelp for a free bite-sized oatmeal cookie (it's actually really good). They offer meal-prep plans, which I thought was pretty cool. I ordered the peanut chicken with white rice and substituted out the chicken breast for the chicken thigh. It took about 10 minutes for the food to come out. The meal also came out with a side of veggies. The chicken was good, but I found it to be a bit dry and not saucy enough. It also had a very strong peanut taste (so great for anyone who loves peanuts). However, they do have a small table near the entrance door with condiments and a water dispenser for anyone who needs it. the portion size was perfect for a lunch meal, but I felt like it was a little underwhelming, especially for the price. I used to order my meals from Black market meal prep, but I could never finish any of the food I bought, so I was basically me wasting money. THEN I DISCOVERED B NUTRITIOUS AND MY LIFE WAS CHANGED. So far I've tried the fried rice, the Kung pao tofu, the peanut chicken, and the sweet and spicy noodles. They're all absolutely delicious (but I would have to say my least favorite was the peanut chicken). I LOVE that you are not forced to order pre-packaged meals. You can customize your options including protein, flavor, and veggies! ALSO, The food is always made ready to order so you can literally place an order for meal prep and pick it up within the next hour. We went to the grand opening today. Their foods are lean, healthy, and yummy. We tried Orange chicken and Peanut chicken. Wow...I feel healthy and happy. Tasty...5 stars. The restaurant is clean, very bright. You can choose meat options, gluten free options. They have 2 locations in El Monte and here in Fountain Valley. The price is a little high for chicken bowl for 9.25. Protein shake is 6 to 7.00. They have meal plans which are 9, 15, and 21 meals starting at $89.00 to $207.00. We both liked their healthy foods, not greasy at all. Really tasty!!! The different sauces are excellent, some is spicy, some others are mild like peanut sauce. The service is 5 stars too. Overall, it is worthy to eat healthy foods as well as nutritious. And also, white rice was chewy, Is that rice jasmine or just japanese rice?? I was rushing to a show at the Segerstrom Center and wanted to pick up dinner on the way, seeing as there wasn't time to sit down for dinner before the show. Feeling fairly chubby as of late, I wanted something healthier to eat and came upon B Nutritious. I ordered on the app and went to pick up our food. I had a rather long and friendly conversation with the owner of the shop. She was super nice. They didn't have the bok choy I ordered, so I got some sweet potato instead. She said she texted me the issue, but I never received anything on my phone. I unfortunately ordered through GrubHub, so maybe that was part of the problem. She informed me that they impose a service charge on their orders with higher prices and that I should have just ordered directly from them. If I had known, I would have. The food was healthy and filling with such a large portion. I got us both the grilled chicken with sweet potato, his with asparagus and mine with spinach. It reminded me a lot of what I normally meal prep at home. While I'm on this topic, they also offer weekly and monthly meal plans, which I think is cool.
