B Twentyfour is a casual vibrant cafe with compendious menu situated in the corner of North Broadway and Ave 24 in Lincoln Heights neighborhood of LA. Its interior is very spacious with a second floor; white wall surrounds the entire cafe with carefully curated art decor on the side of the stairs, and huge wooden coffee menu plastered on the north wall. I had a hot Cubano, an Avocado Toasts with corn and Egg Cheese Wheat Sandwich for breakfast. Food and coffee were tasty and delightful. Service was spot on. Atmosphere was quite relaxing. Prices were highly competitive and of market value. Female staff were competent and affable. After years of driving by Lincoln Hts and not knowing it existed. I am glad I visited them. Overall, I had a good meal and I highly recommend them.

Chill Spot with Games & Pastries Atmosphere: B24 is a casual café with a laid-back vibe. There are a few small tables for groups, plus a larger one if you come with more people. The café has a shelf with board games available for anyone to use, which adds a fun, social touch. There seems to be an upstairs area too, though we didn't check it out. Many people come here to relax, play games, or work on their laptops. Parking: Metered parking is available around the corner. We found spots without too much trouble, but it does depend on timing--you might need some luck or be ready to pay at a meter. Food & Drinks: We only tried pastries this time since we had already eaten elsewhere. My sister ordered a coffee cake, which she didn't care for, even though she usually loves coffee cakes--but I thought it was really good. I got a jalapeño and cheese croissant, and it was excellent (especially warmed up). My son even enjoyed it after picking off the jalapeños. Both pastries were $4.25 each, which felt reasonable. The menu includes hot sandwiches, which you can get on a bagel, croissant, sourdough, or other bread of your choice, starting around $4.50-$8.50. Burritos range from $10-$11. They also offer acai bowls ($12.50-$14), smoothies ($9.50 for 20oz), and other classic café items. Prices are about what you'd expect for a coffee shop--nothing too crazy. Service: You order at the counter, pay right away, and then seat yourself, which makes it convenient for groups (no stress about splitting the bill later). Service was straightforward and quick. Staff interactions were brief but fine. Extras: There's a small self-serve station for napkins, stirrers, and a bin to place your used dishes. They also have a free water station with cups near the counter, which is a nice touch. Overall: B24 Café has a relaxed and casual vibe, perfect for grabbing a pastry, sandwich, or smoothie, and hanging out with friends or even strangers over a board game. The croissant was excellent, the coffee cake depends on personal taste, and the prices felt fair for the quality. Rating: I'd give it 4 out of 5 stars -- really good overall, with only small things keeping it from a perfect 5.

Beware of parallel metered street parking. Tons of parking on weekdays. For reference; for Broadway, 1 hour limit parking between 8am-6pm. Both Ave 22 and Ave 24, 2 hour limit parking between 8am-6pm except Sundays. And street sweeping (No Parking) is between 10am-12pm on Tuesdays on one side and Wednesday on the other side. Esquite Avocado Toast -so good. Texture of corn was good, crisp and firm. Jalapenos were deseeded no spice at all, it did add a slight crunch and freshness to the avocados. Egg was a little over cooked for my preference. Much more jammy than runny. Strawberry Latte -flavor was odd.. but still good. It tasted more like a melted Neapolitan ice cream than just strawberry, slight mocha flavor mixed in there as well. Banana Latte -fragrant, more artificial than natural flavor. Horchata Latte - horchata wasn't as strong as I prefer. Coffee overpowered it.

This coffee shop is a hidden gem! It is located in an unassuming corner on broadway. When you walk in, it is quite spacious with a second level as well. The food, breakfast burrito, pumpkin muffin and açaí bowls were all must tries! Service was good as well! The coffee was a warm cup of comfort :)

Had the vegetarian burrito and an Americano. Normally eat beef but trying to be healthier lately. The vegetarian burrito was very nice. The mushrooms are chopped up and pleasantly chewy. I wish the green salsa was more lime-y. The red salsa is Tapatio. Service was nice and cheerful. Will definitely return if I'm in the area.

Esquite Avocado Toast and Iced Horchata Latte

Haven't been here for many years, but last week a friend wanted to meet for coffee here. Remembering my issue with the veg burrito lol, I ordered their esquite avocado toast (corn). It wasn't as cheesy as I remembered and the avocado mash was possibly pre-made / bought like that -- but it was tasty nonetheless! Service is still slow (kids were done with their drinks by the time the food came out) and I wasn't too impressed with their horchata latte, but definitely an adorable cafe that's a neighborhood mainstay. Prices are a bit much though -- can't spend $20 on 1x food item and 1x special coffee drink on the regular!

Such a great spot, came for the first time for my monthly new coffee shop try. Coffee and food was delicious .. will be back soon

This place is a hidden gem. The space is airy and light, with a lovely upstairs area too. Perfect for chatting but also great for working with plenty of outlets. Staff is super nice and friendly, very helpful. The FOOD deserved a huge shoutout. They give huuuuuuge and generous portions and the quality is five star. Breakfast burrito was SO flavorful m, packed with really good ingredients, and two salsas on the side. The açaí bowls are impeccable- they really are super generous with the amount they put in and the quality of the fruit- the berries were all super ripe and sweet and the açaí was delish. Love this place!!!!!

I had the banana latte with coconut milk and it was like a tropical coffee- so yummy but the ice melted so fast! I also tried the ham and cheese croissant which was decent and the breakfast burrito (and added bacon) which was subpar bc it was mostly potato and I didn't even taste the bacon. The salsas were not the best- it tasted like straight tapatío and the green salsa was a little watery for my liking. The baristas were all so friendly as well and even delivered our food to us upstairs! So nice of them. This place is so cute and very spacious! It's a great place to study and do work. The upstairs has air conditioning so it's not too hot up there. 4 stars just because I wish the food was a little more to my liking, but definitely a place I'd come back to to try more items!

Love this spot! Absolutely my go to coffee shop as a local in the community. They have great drinks and food which is lovely if you're there to study or work. I love their setup - they have outlets, wifi, and two stories of work space. It's not huge, but it has several tables and stools. Lastly, the employees are all really nice! I've been there so many times and have always had positive experiences with any employee I encounter. read more

I came in and was greeted by Krissy, the really nice person behind the counter at the time. She was so friendly and genuine, star power, yknow? The person who I think was the owner was super nice too and smiley and the whole place is full of sunlight. The type of cafe you could spend all their open hours at. Could come back for the food alone, the service alone, or the whole vibe/ambiance alone. Luckily they've nailed it all!! read more

I'm not a fan... I've had this place bookmarked for a while now and finally got to try it last weekend. It wasn't as great as I expected it to be. First, the two stars are for the ambience & environment. Spacious, great for studying, a lot of seats downstairs and up, so I appreciated that. BUT the smell in there is strong! I'm not sure what they're whipping up, but if you plan on staying there for more than 20 mins, expect to walk out smelling like something oily and fried. We were there for an hour and my friend felt like her eyes were burning once we left.. I ordered a vanilla iced latte, and it wasn't anything I'd come back for. It was almost watered down for my taste I was tempted to order their strawberry latte until I learned that it was made out of artificial syrup. Not a fan. I probably wouldn't come back here unless in the area and really needed a space to study. read more

$20 plus tip for "vegan burrito" that is just burnt rice (burnt enough to crack a tooth!) and a couple bits of potato with what i assume is supposed to be salsa but is watery and flavorless. not restaurant quality, not something i would eat if i made it! avoid and go to antigua for better coffee and food read more

one of my favorite (and underrated) local coffee shops in east la! the workers are really friendly and my order is always prepared pretty quickly. great space to study too; theres plenty of tables and seating areas on both floors, decently fast wifi, lots of outlets, and it's kept really clean. i always park in the parking lot a little past the cafe on s 24 ave, but theres also street parking around. i had the matcha here a long time ago and it was really bad so i never ordered it again, but i loooove the banana latte even though i'm not a super big coffee person. breakfast burrito here is really good too! read more

Honestly I didn't realize it was open, the windows are so dark but inside is a delightful little bistro. A wonderful addition to our neighborhoood, the menu is varied and really affordable. Service was friendly and quick, the dining room is bright and airy. I love that they have dog cookies for well behaved dogs. The only downside is that it's very loud with the high ceilings and blender making smoothies and drinks. read more

I had the berry blast bowl and the esquite avocado toast and they were both so delicious! The size of the bowl is HUGE. It's enough to fill up 2 people. The esquite avocado toast was gone in SECONDS! I was excited to try this place but overall fell a little flat. The wait for food was long. We ordered an acai bowl, 2 bfast burritos, an esquite avocado toast, 3 coffees, and muffin. The acai bowl came out first before our coffees, and then there was a long pause for the burritos and toast. The acai bowl had tasy toppings but it was too liquidy and melted. Bfast burritos were good, but nothing crazy. The toast came out way last when everyone was done eating, which was surprising because it seemed easy to make. Toast was cold when it came out: bread, corn, eggs and all. I understand the vision but the cold corn and egg was really just throwing me off. Coffees were ok, my banana latte was a little too milky for me. Muffin was good, I would prob come back just for a quick pastry. read more

Needed my dose of coffee and i decided to check them out. Had been wanting to come here for brunch but due to COVID I didn't get a chance last year. I am planning to though once it's okay to dine in. I'll stick to supporting coffee shops by getting my coffee to go for now. It was empty when I stopped by but they are taking covid precautions. Staff wears masks and they have hand sanitizer available as well. I ordered an chocolate almond blended drink and it was so delicious. It tasted like a Hershey almond chocolate bar. I love chocolate so this was a perfect drink for me. Will be returning to try more of their drinks. Street parking is easy to find so you don't have to worry about it. read more

I was passing through LA and needed a quick breakfast. The egg and cheese croissant sandwich was surprisingly delicious! The garlic aioli is my favorite and really elevated this breakfast sandwich. I also ordered a lavender latte and I enjoyed the creamy, subtle lavender flavor and aroma. A great start to the day! read more

I just cannot imagine what it takes to keep a corner cafe business open during a pandemic, but the space is soaring, well lit, and well-connected with power outlets for laptops, and were it another year I would have spent a few afternoons sipping coffee and sitting at their spacious desks with my computer. I just got a beautifully balanced drip coffee and noted that this place has the corner store, independently owned business model I dearly support over corporate chains whose only motive is to rape the world and amass their CEO's bank account. I want to give this spot a shout out so others might also enjoy the quaint Asian and Latino-dominated stretch of Broadway in this eastern Los Angeles tentacle known as Lincoln Heights--a collection of family homes with a small-town feel neighborhood. read more

Love the Berry Blast Acai Bowl, best I've had. Carrot muffin was a big disappointment. No carrot flavor, the carrot pieces were so dry and flavorless and it was underbaked. Seems like they took any old cake mix and just threw in some carrot shreds. read more

What a shame, what a shame! I've been wanting to try this place because I love avocado toast and elotes and their Esquite Avocado toast looked like a combination of the two. Today I made the time to finally swing by and try it. Unfortunately, I was told that they were out of avocado toast because they were out of avocados. Boooo!! Who runs out of avocados when there are multiple items on their menu with it? Hmm...truly disappointed. Since I didn't want to make the entire trip pointless, I decided to get the Power Açaí Bowl (I also love açaí bowls). The bowl was $8.75+ tax and you get quite a generous portion. The blend didn't wow me, but it was okay. I did enjoy the combination of toppings they put in the Power Bowl though. Definitely something I'd try again. Parking: There is plenty of meter parking nearby. If you park down the street near the homes, no meter! I would still like to try the toast one of these days so hopefully, the next time I go they won't be out of one of the main ingredients. read more

Great spot to work or study, catch up with friends or just get your cup coffee. There are plenty of power outlets to keep you fully charged while you work, or hustle. i had the power acai bowl with a scoop of protein (it was good but very filling), and my friend had the esquite avocado toast, which was an interesting take on avocado toast that totally works flavor wise. Also, I forgot to mention it's pup friendly. read more

It was actually kinda nice. Coffee was actually very decent. Ambience was cool. This next part of the comment in this review is not necessarily a bad thing. They don't bake their own bread apparently or pastries overall, I ordered the Crumble/ coffee cake. I think it was OK. But why would I expect if they don't bake it there. but I will definitely visit there again. Staff was very friendly actually too. read more

Always looking for new spots to try and this place caught my attention. I came for that esquite toast. Who doesn't like esquires? So let me tell you it was sooo bomb and it comes together so well. I also got an horchata latte it was good wish it had more horchata flavor to it.. Great & fast service definitely will be coming back read more

B24 (intersection Broadway and 24th street) remains a wonderful niche to sit down and get some work done while having a top notch coffee with some sort of a bite, e.g. croissant, some pastries, or more the various paninis/sandwiches, or most recently tested, a Turkey Chop Chop salad. And sometimes, there is also some special excitement, e.g. when a fruit juice (even b4 its expiration date) explodes because of excessive fermentation) - all okay as long as the computer is spared ... Previous review It's about time that you check this one out! B24 is a true gem in the Broadway jungle of Lincoln Heights. Cruising through the not so attractive neighborhood without any expectations, and b4 you know it there's the B24. Cute, clean, cozy - with numerous delicious small bites, be it for breakfast or lunch. Finally a place that offers excellent croissants and alikes, which go well with all kinds of delicious and beautifully presented coffees. But really a must starter are the menu items such as Esquite Avocado Toast combining avocado, corn, feta and a sunny side egg with pep. AMAZING! Hands down! My friend actually introduced me to this place, just so I could try their esquite avocado toast... I'll be honest, I was a little hesitant, but boy! Was I so happy that I gave this place a shot! Everything from the toast, to the avocado spread, to the jalapeños, sweet corn, sunny side egg, and finished off with some sprinkled chili powder! And boom!!!! You have yourself can amazing meal! Oooh! And I can't leave out the iced strawberry latte! That's right folks! You've heard correctly! I love finding great new coffee shops near my home! I came across this place on Yelp and decided to try it after seeing reviews on the Esquite Avocado Toast. I ordered for pick-up on a Friday morning, and everything was ready when I arrived on time. The Iced Matcha Latte was perfect! The Avocado Toast was fine - I felt like they overdid the corn. If you see my pictures, it didn't look so much like the other photos I saw on Yelp. I think they packed up on the corn and spices, but overall was fine. I will most likely just come back for the drinks. Parking is metered and on the street which was pretty easy! read more

YOU GUYS I've been on an iced coffee JOURNEY. For YEARS I sought a cold coffee beverage that doesn't taste like literal garbage because I'm apparently the ONLY PERSON in the world who hates the taste of cold coffee. WELL. I went in here and ordered the Cuban coffee (DELICIOUS) and then saw this Iced Strawberry Latte and decided to give it a whirl too and OH LORD it is so good. It's like a milkshake crossed with a coffee and THIS is what I've been MISSING ALL MY LIFE. I sucked it down like I was vacuuming up marbles and am now DESPERATELY OVERCAFFIENATED and using an excessive amount of ALL CAPS but who cares I found coffee HEAVEN. Go there. DRINK IT. I was in the area and craving some coffee. I enjoying finding coffee shops that are not large franchises like Starbucks so when I saw that this coffee shop was close by I wanted to try it. When I walked in it was empty. There were only 2 workers and no guest. It was around 1:30pm on a Saturday. I ordered the mocha iced blended drinks and it was ready in less than 10 min. It was really good, I would definitely like to go back to try more of their items. read more

My sister and I live in the neighborhood and prior to us opening B Twentyfour, there was nowhere in the neighborhood to get a decent cup of coffee, so we decided to take the leap forward and open our cafe.

The crab fat fried rice is a no brainer and depending on the night you come, I highly recommend the Sinigang xiaolongbao special. The strawberry matcha einspanner was also yummy and had a great presentation The space is pretty small but there are a few seats available. The line was around 20 minutes long on a Saturday afternoon. Like most spots in ktown, the parking lot is limited and you'll likely need to find street parking, but it is definitely worth the hype!

I love finding great local spots, and this coffee shop is a real gem! The coffee is consistently good, and I especially enjoy their flavored lattes - the banana and hazelnut lattes are generally my go-tos. They're delicious and have just the right amount of flavor without being overly sweet. One of the best things about this spot is that it's usually pretty chill, so I'm not waiting in line forever. Even when it does get busy, the baristas are quick and efficient, so the wait's never too long. Definitely recommend if you're in the area and looking for a great cup of coffee with a welcoming vibe! read more

I recently visited B TwentyFour, and I must say, their Horchata Latte is simply delightful! The combination of rich espresso and creamy horchata flavors was a match made in coffee heaven. It's a truly unique and satisfying beverage. And let me not forget to mention their cream cheese bagel--it was absolutely delicious! Have been coming here since the day it opened before the other two cafes. Great Food, Excellent costumer service. They even have a community board to give the neighborhood a place to advertise events and distribute helpful pamphlets. Free Wi-Fi, A/C, outlets basically at every table, and let's not forget a second floor with comfy sofas! Great studying ambiance apart from the occasional blender noise. Keep it up guys! read more

B Twentyfour Cafe is a delightful gem! The drinks are crafted with love, and I absolutely adored the seasonal S'mores Iced Latte--simply amazing. The Esquite Avocado Toast was delicious, though I wish I had added extra cotija cheese and lime for an extra kick. The vibe is so chill, making it a perfect spot to unwind. The place is simple but large as there is more space upstairs. We went to B Twentyfour for breakfast and ordered Breakfast Sandwich, Bacon, Fries and Avocado Toast. Breakfast sandwich did not impress me at all but bacon and avocado toast were really very delicious and both are my favorite as well! The service was also good and friendly. read more

You have to be here to feel the real hype. This place is a good spot for me to start my day with a sip of coffee and already my fave breakfast a sandwich. Everything is in pretty big portions. Like the large space and the kalming white mood. See u again for next time. read more
