They just opened so wanted to try it since their Avent Ferry location got good reviews. Well..... waited more than 40min, the hostess told us our food is getting packed then 10min later told us it just getting started it. While we were waiting, tables started to fill up.... while waiting nobody got any food. The ppl who were waiting for their Togo request to get their money back due to long wait. The staff didn't know how to do refund on the cc. After we waited for more than 40min we asked for our money back. The hostess asked to come back later on but I don't know if I will.... maybe after they figure out how to run the place but for now it seems like they will be out of business if they don't get there stuff together. read more

So I consider myself a bit of a chicken wing connoisseur. That being said, I love these wings! Honourable mentions go out to the bacon cheeseburger and the grilled chicken wrap with bleu cheese. I'm a dry rub kind of girl so the blackened Cajun wings do it for me. They have lots of flavors and the crinkle cut fries are always delicious. But I mean if you mess up a fry, can you call yourself a restaurant?? They are juicy, delicious wings but you have to pay for the dip separately and then you only get this tiny cup of it... so then you have to pay for extra. The potato skins are 7 bucks. It is literally 2 potatoes with bacon and cheese.. and you don't even get chives or green onions! I could buy all of the ingredients to make an entire bag of potato skins and spend 7 bucks. But nevertheless, I still buy them. What can I say, potatoes are my jam. So, if you want good wings, cold cider, expensive potato skins, and waitresses that are charmingly strange, go here. read more

We really wanted to like this place, but my god it was awful. When my boyfriend went to pick the food up, he waited 10 minutes before anyone even acknowledged him- and it was dead in there. Our food was ice cold when we got home. Everything looked old and like it had been sitting in a display case for a year. Gave it a shot anyways - the wings were flavorless and over cooked. The food wasn't that good. I agree that the boneless wings were dry. Jalapeño poppers seemed fine. But my biggest concern was the cleanliness of the place. One employee was smoking a cigarette right outside the front door. When we came in, he was taking his pullover off right by the hostess stand. The staff was initially friendly. The tables, chairs, and floors were filthy and they had literally just opened. I had to wipe the table and chair myself. There was no soap in the women's restroom, and I notified our waiter, but he never confirmed that he refilled it. The food was amazing. The service was even more amazing. And the prices were surprisingly low for all the food we got. The portions are huge. I loved the casual atmosphere and it wasn't loud and noisy like a lot of bars. The waiters were more helpful, kind and accommodating than I have found anywhere else. This place recently opened so I know there are growing pains. Seems like every time I've gone here they need 1 more dining room server. Stop trying to shave on labor cost and make service is top notch!!! Oh, and at least give the first blue cheese or ranch dressing with each wing order THEN charge for the 2nd. So not good!!! My family and I stopped by on our way home. We were served drinks first. The sodas had a funny taste and were flat. The chicken wings we ordered were horrible. I am so disappointed. I paid 30 for 8 wings and a patty melt. I took two bites of the patty melt. I don't know where the cook is from but it was not a patty melt it was a burger between two slices of soggy sourdough bread like something off a Burger King commercial. I love this place so much!!! First of all best wings in Raleigh; so many great choices, and the French fry wrap is amazing and don't forget about the rice bowls just fantastic!!! Josh and Mike the owners are great but you have to meet Kelly and Jodi Kelly has been been taking care of us for years and Jodi for a very long time, on new year's met Lance for the first time he was so attentive and wonderful. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich last night for pick up. This by far was the worst sandwich I ever had. This was about 7:30. The chicken must have been sitting there all day. It was so hard like a rock small on an oversized bun that was wet with the tomato. It was probably about 1/8 inch thick you could barely cut it with a knife. Beware I would never order anything in this restaurant other than wings. I had to throw the sandwich out. They also forgot the blue cheese sauce for wings. Stopped in here for lunch. Sat at the bar and ordered the Honey BBQ wrap and a side salad. The service was very attentive. Food was excellent and priced appropriately. The wrap came in foil and from the outside it looked like a big burrito. The ingredients were very fresh and cooked just right. The honey BBQ sauce was very tasty. The salad was very fresh with a good mix of lettuce and other greens and fresh tomatoes. Blue Cheese dressing was very good. Overpriced for what you are getting. I'm a wing lover so naturally I was excited about Ba Da opening. After ordering a pickup order of wings, I realized the two pounds order is 14 wings, and one pound is 7. The wings are priced just over a dollar each. I got their medium sauce on wings and a few side containers of sauce. The sauce is too runny and the wings were way to slimmy, it looked like they were rinsed under a sink. Luckily with sauce on side too I could actually try the sauce since it doesn't stick to wings. The flavor is pretty good, but overall rating is low due to cost, runniness of sauce and poor wing frying. read more

Having just opened, I would have expected better service. The appetizer was out quickly, but 30 minutes to get wings is quite a wait. It was Sunday night and the football games were all on, but the place was perhaps 1/3 full, so I don't understand the long wait. The staff was uneven as our server seemed annoyed but another person (manager?) did try to make things right when our order came out incorrectly. The food itself was really tasty. Ugh, I so wanted to like this place! We tried. We really did. I just knew it would be good. We started off with a rude person answering the phone to take our to-go order, which is sometimes a sign that the food is REALLY good. I get there to pick up the order and there are some folks at the bar drinking who proceed to tell me how good the food is (who I later learn are employees who just happen to have the day off), and then I see my bill and WOWZERS the wings are very expensive! $32 for 21 wings! They must be soooo good, right?!? Nope. Told it would be 20 mins. 40 mins. OK fine, if the food is good, I'll be ok. Get home and I'm not kidding, these are like some of the worst wings we've ever had. And then I come on here to Yelp like I should've done to begin with and see some of the same issues we encountered. They had a funny taste and were half done even though I asked them to be cooked extra crispy, were a little fatty, and the sauce was not good at all. Overall quality of the wings were poor. Wingstop is soooo much better, folks at almost half the cost. Oh well, at least we know now. read more
