I was with my mom running errands so of course she wanted to eat here. I was skeptical from the last time, but it didn't stop me. They have a great lunch special that's reasonably priced, and my mom is more on the picky side, if she likes something she sticks with it. The ambiance here is relaxed, it's a small house turned into a restaurant. Service was good at this visit. My mom ordered her usual pork belly ramen with no spice (she is spice naive) and I tried something new here...drunken noodles with steak at level 3 heat (it goes 1-5 with 5 being the hottest). The lunch special comes with soup and a spring roll. This time I made sure to check my soup, and thankfully it was all clear and tasted good. The soup is too spicy for my mom so she doesn't eat it. The spring roll with dipping sauce was appetizing. Our food came quickly after, and everything came out fresh. My mom didn't have any issues with her ramen. For a lunch special, the drunken noodles is a decent portion. The temperature was hot and the spice level was pretty spicy, but I liked it. The steak option went really well with the drunken noodles too, very flavorful. I wasn't able to finish it, asked for a to go container, and our server supplied. We both enjoyed hanging out and got very full.

I love this place! Helpful service, really tasty food, and charming decor make this a place worth returning to. Indoor and outdoor seating. Try it once and you'll be hooked.

I was really happy to find this beautiful Thai restaurant in Wanamaker. I happened to be in the area and consulted Yelp to find a place for lunch. I decided to try Baan Thai Bistro after reading a few reviews, and it turned out to be a great decision. I called in an order for carry out. When I saw the quaint interior I wished that I had time to dine in. The building is beautiful, inside and out. The unique decor was practically beckoning me to sit down and enjoy a relaxing meal. I ordered spring rolls and drunken noodles with tofu. The spring rolls were light and crispy. I would recommend ordering a few. Or more than a few. My drunken noodles were excellent. I ordered mild-to medium spice, and the spice level was perfect. The serving size was generous. Will have leftovers for dinner, yay! Service was very pleasant. Ordering was efficient. I called in my order and received a text when my order was ready. I'll definitely return, and would enjoy dining in next time. Thanks to Yelpers for the great reviews that brought me here.

Very impressed with this quaint Thai restaurant in small town Wanamaker. We arrived around 6:15 on a Friday night, and had to wait fifteen minutes for a table of four. Once seated, our waitress greeted us promptly, and brought our drinks. She was great throughout the night, checking in on us frequently. For appetizer, we had the chicken wings with honey garlic siracha sauce. The wings were phenomenal. The chicken was crispy, and the sauce had a nice a balance between sweet and spicy. I also appreciated the additional side of sauce on the side. For my main course, I had the Kao Soi. It had two meaty drumsticks, plenty of noodles, and an aromatic sauce. The crunchy topping was great, and had additional veggies in it which were fresh. Overall impressed by our visit, and am eager to return to try again.

Inflation was beat from the jump here at BTB. Swinging by on a "team-building" extended lunch had me feeling dangerously hungry for a noon thirty special. Jammed in alongside coworkers, the owners grandson dialed in some orders on his self-dubbed device. Puffer jacket and dyed tees ensure family owned echelons. He tuned me up to the number of a Pad Krapow with double soup and double spring rolls. We don't play here. Reminiscing on this meal is akin to a dad at his daughter's U12 soccer trophy ceremony. Proud beyond belief in what this little tank can do, stunned by the ease she gets it done. Shed a tear, life is beautiful y'all and Baan Thai rips!

This place is small but outstanding! The food is flavorful warm and being able to alter the spice level is incredible! The service is outstanding even when we came in late they still severed us with just as much kindness as if we were there early! Even heating up the food the next day it kept the flavor and tasted just as amazing!

This place has been on my list to try for a bit. I finally got around to it. It was a late lunch for me probably around 2 pm. The entrance was in the back and there is a parking lot in the back as well. I parked out front as there was a delivery truck blocking the driveway when I got there. I walked around to the entrance and when I went in there was a wait to be seated sign. It didn't take long to be seated and they gave me a lunch menu and a larger menu but I did not see a cocktail menu so I asked for one. She brought it to me and said the cocktails were just ok, most people order beer or wine. I really wanted a cocktail so I ordered the Almond Sour. Also I flipped the cocktail menu over to the other side and she said, "Oh we have none of these items." My waitress came back to the table and said they were out of Amaretto so I did not try for a second cocktail, I just ordered the Thai Iced Tea. The Thai Iced Tea was interesting, a bit thick and sweet. I am a no sugar in my tea girl so may not have been my best choice. I ordered my meal, I went with the Mixed Vegetable Stir-Fry. She asked what protein I wanted and I chose none. She asked if the Jasmine rice was fine and I said yes. She asked heat level 1-5 and knowing that Thai food can get pretty spicy from another Thai restaurant I go to I ordered heat level 2. I waited for my food and looked around, everything was clean and the place was small. They do have a patio out front that would be nice in nicer weather. She came back with my order and although pretty I found an overall lack of flavor and absolutely no heat and I sure would not have expected that. The Jasmine rice was also a bit congealed together, I do not care for rice all that much anyway so it did not really matter to me that I left it mostly on the plate. I was pretty disappointed but I did like the soup which was a Spicy Thom Yum and I also liked the crunchy spring roll with the dip on the side. I will likely come back to try them again, maybe I ordered the wrong thing, maybe it was a bad day for the chef. I do know I will bump up my heat level here.

This place is so cute and the service is always super friendly. We enjoyed a date night dinner here last night. The crispy pork ramen was full of fresh veggies and the crispy pork was killer! Hubs got the pineapple fried rice and liked it, wished it had a few more pieces of pineapple but the presentation is so cute. We also started with the firecracker shrimp and that was fine. Shrimp a little under seasoned but the chili dipping sauce is delicious!

This was worth the drive let me start by saying that. This cute little family owned restaurant is a small hole in the wall and each dish is made with passion. The food was delicious - we tried the dumplings, fried rice and the pad Thai. It was made to perfection and the spice level was just perfect. Service was excellent, please be patient with them as they are working in a small space and trying to accommodate everyone dining in and to go orders! I highly recommend going here if you are craving Thai!!

Steak lettuce wraps that I will be dreaming about

THAI. LETTUCE. WRAPS! With steak.... If there is anything you take from this review, it is to get those. They were the best things I have eaten in as long as I can remember. Each ingredient popped at a different time, and there was no "star of the show" in a very good way. Further more, the spring rolls were crisp on the outside and not mushy on the inside like I have experienced at other nicer Thai restaurants in Indianapolis. The red curry and cocktails were excellent, as well. Our server was adorable and very helpful in providing us recommendation. The cocktails took awhile, but she explained that there was only one shaker and we appreciated her communication. Go here and check it out. Also, did I mention the lettuce wraps?

Wowza!! This place is a hidden gem!! We randomly found it and I already can't wait to go back!! This is a tiny place out in the middle of nowhere and it looks like a house converted to a restaurant but the food is amazinggg! The perfect sweetness and the best service. 10/10 recommend!!

This place is incredible. It's so cute inside, but small and reservations are highly recommended. I took my friend and I told her that it was going to be THE BEST Thai food she's ever had. Well, guess what!? I. Was. Right. The crab Rangoon dip is everything. Honestly, I wanted to lick the lil skillet it was in. Lettuce wrap? Amazing. You get your choice of filling. Tom Ka and Tom Yum are sheer perfection. Any entree with crispy pork belly is worth shouting about.

I just HAD to visit this spot since they made the list of Top Places to Eat in Indy according to Yelp. Aside from that, this is a restaurant I've been meaning to visit for ages but it's a bit of a drive for me. It was so worth it! I lived in Thailand for a year and a half and just got back two weeks ago from a visit to Thailand. I was definitely still craving Thai food once I got back and this was the absolute perfect restaurant to go to. Aside from the food being flavorful and delicious, the menu had items that are hard to find at Thai restaurants in the states but common in Thailand. I loved learning that it's a family owned business and many of the recipes are family recipes. Their lunch menu had items priced around $11 and they even included soup and a spring roll. In this day and age, this was such a good deal! The last thing to note, the service was fantastic. Our waitress was kind and down to earth. She made sure we had everything we needed and gave great recommendations. It's so cute inside too with a lot of natural light and a patio out front as well! I can't wait to come back again!

Starting off - I was really glad I snagged a reservation because when we arrived there was a line waiting for them to open. We were seated quickly, and our service was really efficient. The drinks were unique, but tasty. We ordered the crab puffs because that's my favorite at any Thai restaurant. They came out in under 5 minutes, and were piping hot. They were good! For my main I ordered the steak drunken noodles and they were so so so good. I couldn't finish it all because the portion was so large, but you better believe it was just as good cold later that night. I would definitely be back. My husband ordered the chili & basil pork and he cleaned his plate - so I'd say it was good. Because it's a popular spot, there is a time limit on your dining experience. If you're wanting to relax and hang out - probably not the spot. The food is SO good though, so I'd still grab dinner here, then head to a cocktail bar to hang out

We had a reservation and waited a little while after arriving, but once seated outside on the patio, we really enjoyed our dinner. Our waiter was attentive, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful with our selections. We even ordered a platter from the special Epicurean Local Menu, which was a great addition to the meal. Unfortunately, the way the evening ended completely changed our impression of the experience. We had finished our meal, had already told our waiter that we did not want dessert, and were essentially ready to leave when a gentleman approached our table specifically to tell us that we had 15 minutes remaining. It was unnecessary and made us feel as though we were being pushed out when we weren't lingering or preventing the staff from turning the table. I mentioned this on my way out and was told that guests are informed they have 90 minutes to dine. We don't recall having that explained to us, but more importantly, I don't think that should be the defining experience at a restaurant positioning itself as a higher-quality dining destination. There are much more gracious ways to manage table timing, particularly when the guests have already finished their meal and indicated they aren't ordering anything else. We were also celebrating our daughter's birthday and specifically mentioned it to the host when we were seated. Unfortunately, there was no acknowledgment of her birthday during dinner, which was another missed opportunity to make the evening memorable. It's disappointing because the food, drinks, patio, and our waiter were all excellent. We were prepared to leave thinking we'd had a 5-star dinner. Instead, the final interaction made a wonderful evening feel transactional and turned what would have been a 5-star review into a 3-star experience. A restaurant can serve outstanding food, but the way guests are made to feel is part of the experience too.

I love Thai food. Jasmine Thai offers great lunch specials that includes soup, salad, spring roll…read moreand entree for only $12.99. Our server, Honey, was friendly, polite and attentive. She kept water filled. Other servers helped, too. There is a family atmosphere between the servers. The dining room is cozy with subtle decor. We sat in a booth. I had the Pad Kee Mao with shrimp. (There is a $4 up charge for shrimp.) The soup was a warm, light garlicky broth with noodles and bean sprouts. The salad was just ok (it looked bagged.) The spring roll was crunchy and fresh. The generous portion of Pad Kee Mao was filled with fresh vegetables. Green beans, peppers and delicious mushrooms accompanied four small shrimp. (The shrimp still had their tails.) I liked that there was not a ton of sweet sauce on the Pad Kee Mao. The noodles were good. My husband had Chicken Pad Thai, which he said was tasty. The chicken was moist. The portion was generous. Overall, good lunch with lots of fresh vegetables and friendly serviI'd return.
