Wow! I was hesitant to try this place initially but it completely blew my mind. The chicken Kabob plate was great absolutely amazing. It had a great texture and a great balance of the chewy factor. Decided to try out this new restaurant today for lunch since I am always looking for something new. The staff were all very nice and the service they provided was excellent. Like I've said in my other posts first time at a new restaurant and I kind of go overboard with my ordering. This would be no different. Started with the chive bolani and I should of taken the menu serious since it says served family style and it was a whole lot of food. Next I ordered the chicken shawarma sandwich combo and to tie it all together an order of sambosas. Since the bolani is made to order my sandwich with fries came out first. The chicken had great flavor and they were not shy on packing on the toppings. The only small issue was with the fries, they weren't crispy enough and you can see their light color however they were seasoned very well. Next thing to come out and my favorite of the meal were the sambosas. They had this extremely delicate fried to perfection and molten hot crust and delicious potato stuffing. They were the highlight of the meal and what will bring me back to try something else. Last but not least was the chive bolani, its almost like a giant quesadilla minus the cheese but with a much more flavorful stuffing. Top notch lunch and a ton of leftovers. read more

Love this place! Best Gryos in Poway! I usually pick up dinner here at least 2x a week. They have been great during the pandemic.

I went and had their baba kabob sandwich which is gyro meat and chicken shawarma with friies in pita. However I Ask for the fries on the side and I also got the meat spicy. It was really good and a fairly big portion for one person. The meet was flavorful and filling. Staff was really nice she took the time to explain the different options to me as well. Honestly the best chicken I think I've ever had. It wasn't a fluke either because this is the second time I've been and it was just as good both times. Super moist and lots of flavor. It takes a hot minute to be ready but it's worth the wait. One kabab is $5.99 if you order it just as "side meat". It's perfect for my high protein diet. It's a lot of meat. I'm estimating about 6oz. Delish Mediterranean food. Great kabob - the meat is juicy, flavorful and quality pieces are used. The bolani (both, potato and chive, I've tried both) is so flipping yummy (and so much good enough for like 3-4 people for $9.99!!!!) the spicy herbaceous green sauce they have is so unique and flavorful. Definitely hits your palate in all the right spots while giving you heat and acid at the same time. Perfectly compliments the kabob and bolani. Just hands down delicious. read more

The food is delicious and filling. I ordered the Baba Kabob sandwich, a Gyro sandwich, and the Gyro Fries. I ordered delivery through GrubHub, my first time, and after working through a missing item issue, having to drive to the restaurant to pick up my missing item (thanks punk ass driver), we finally got to enjoy our food. It was delicious and satisfying. The folks there (possibly owners, couple) were super nice and apologetic. Great folks. Again no fault to them, as they mentioned to me that they had another customer call earlier about missing items in their delivery and what do you know...same driver. Did I say punk ass driver? Took them 25min to make 2 dishes, no one else was there so they weren't busy. Got the chicken and Kafka plate and the meat was green, YUCK!!! The chicken was just ok, but not worth returning. Ordered some takeout here and the folks in the restaurant were very friendly. We ordered the chicken and lamb kabob plates. They were crazy tender and flavorful. The rice was cooked well and the meat seasoning and drippings made it that much better. There is also a little salad and the plates comes with two sauces. While both of the meals were dope, we really loved the lamb. I'm glad there's a joint like this again in Poway and hope this one sticks around for awhile. read more
