It was empty when I walked in, but it looks like they do a good take out business. I ordered the Gyros Sandwich combo which comes with 2 sides and a fountain drink. I upgraded to a Greek Salad for my 2 sides. It comes with a container of Tzatziki sauce on the side. The gyros had good flavor and the pita was soft and moist. Stopped by for the first time and enjoyed it! I order Victors Chicken and Gyros plate. The chicken was cooked very well imo. It was cooked through but still moist, not over cooked like so many other places (understandably I guess). The gyro was also tasty and not overdone. Both were seasoned well and had good flavor. Plate came with pita, rice and a side salad, no complaints on any of it. My buddies got fries instead of the side salad and really enjoyed them. Service was fast and friendly, counter service so can't speak for much other than that. Been going to this little spot for several years and have been meaning to leave a review each time I go. The plan is to take a picture of my beautiful and delicious Greek salad with chicken and then post it with a nice review. But the fact is, I chow down so fast, there's no time for photos. The food is beyond delicious. I wish the location was more centrally located in Poway. They're up on Scripps Poway Parkway in the business center near the Costco and Geico building. If they were in town I would probably visit every other day but every time I go up to Costco I swing by there and get the Chicken Greek salad. So worth it! I've never experienced any issues with customer service except excellent sericet. They get five stars across the board for everything. I can't ding them for location but would be great if they opened up another one down in Poway and stayed open longer. They close at 3:00. Boo! Btw.... We been going for as long as I can remembe. My wife and I had them cater our wedding many years ago. We are still huge fans of the food. We love the ultimate salad, feta fries and dolmas are just to name a few. There are hardly any places I'm comfortable with just picking something off the menu and being happy with it. It's pretty narrow so it's not easy to find a space to stand and wait for your food. This place can build up a little bit of a wait during peak hours (lunch), so I recommend timing it to avoid the lunch rush. Alternatively, call in your order. I saw a few people doing that and thought I might do that next time. This place shines as a to-go lunch spot for locals who work in the area. Stopped by for lunch around 10:45 and they were super busy trying to put together a huge to-go order. They were yelling orders to each other in a tiny space so it was very loud. Like "scream to your table mates" loud. The delivery guy is also apparently the bank run guy and the order taking guy, so they really have to juggle to keep up on a busy day. The guy was super friendly and prompt taking our orders though, so no complaints there, just be forewarned. And like previous reviewer said, it was waaaaaay hot because of the weather/small space/food cooking combo so they left the door open and we spent half the meal chasing off flies. I ordered the gyro and chicken plate and everything was good, but tasted like pretty much every other Greek restaurant I have ever eaten at. They don't seem to have a specialty thing that sets then apart from other restaurants and draws you in with their unique item (like how one place has a Greek burrito, with all the flavor you love in a convenient travel roll that you could eat while driving if you were so inclined. Or one has a Greek bowl kind of like Chipotle's only Greek and better). It's not bad, it just isn't anything to write home about. I usually frequent the location in Rancho Bernardo but this spot is great as well and a favorite for my team when we want to order to go food for our lunch meetings. I believe you have to spend at certain amount for delivery but since we have them cater for our large groups, it's a non-issue. I just call George, tell him how many people we have and they provide a good-sized salad, gyros, grilled chicken and pita bread. The food always arrives right on time and is nice and fresh. Not only is the food delicious the customer service is unreal. George has been nothing short of awesome. He helped me plan for my catering event and made sure I had enough food. He let me know what to get so I didn't have too much or too little and let ms tell you it was perfect. Just a little bit extra so I have lunch the next day. I catered for 30 guests and he gave me the perfect serving amount. Not only is it reasonably priced but it 100% beat going to a restaurant and spending thousands. We catered the Greek salad, Viktor's chicken, gyro, steak kababs, roasted potatoes, pilaf rice, and pita bread. The communication prior to and the day of the event was perfect and there wasn't a worry that we wouldn't get our food.
