Pita basket, a side of gyro, a Greek salad...ice tea.

We live near Palm Springs but whenever we venture down....you'll find they are always great on service, food fresh, portion size.

This is the first restaurant where my husband started liking Greek food LOL. Our visit was back in April of 2024. They have pretty mural decor inside the restaurant, but we sat outside because it was such a nice sunny day. He started with their Greek coffee, which they pour from a copper cup at your table. We shared the grilled halloumi, hummus, baba ghanouj, mini spanakopita appetizer, beef kabob plate, and the Greek combination plate. Everything was so fresh and delicious. My favorites were the kabobs, gyro, and hummus! Service was friendly and attentive as well.

I am obsessed with this place. They use the most freshest ingredients and are very authentic. I love their baba ganoush and the gyro salad. High encourage you give it a try.

Picked up food to go, got a mix of what they have to offer - chicken kabob, sfagnagk (cubed meat) sandwich, gyros sandwich. The gyros and rice (oddly enough) were really good and full of flavor. The meat had no flavor and I had to douse it with salt and was better after that. Chicken kabob was very dry, I wouldn't get it again.

Kafta plate, filling meal but the meat was so dry!

Super filling plate but dry Kabob. We got the beef and kaftan Kabob plate. First thought off the menu was wow, this meal is pricey! When you get the plate, ok, that makes sense, because they're super generous with the portion. The ambiance was nice, staff was friendly, reason why it's 2 stars is the food is meh. Sure, rice, salad, pita, all ok. But what was supposed to be the star, the kafta Kabob for me was dry, so dry. My husband liked his beef Kabob and I didn't get to try his meal so I don't know how his meat was. I came out of there super full, but taste wise specifically for the meat, disappointed. I'm not saying they're bad, but, if I get asked for a Greek place to check out, I'd remember this place and will remember to not recommend. Definitely wouldn't go back here again.

Meh. I don't need to come back. I'll start with what is good--the gyro meat is delicious. They do THAT well. The rice is also good. The olives have pits so watch your teeth. The pita is store bought. The Salad is dry. The hummus is super bland. I ended up using my Kirkland hummus from the fridge. The tzatziki was super watery. The chicken was painfully dry and tough.

Came in as 4 with my family on Labor Day. This was also my first time eating Greek food, so it was exciting. Fast and friendly service. Food was delicious and ample for 4.

Absolutely fabulous local restaurant serving the best Greek gyros around! Love the cute atmosphere inside the restaurant! They have adorable little tables inside and out, with very modern lights! Servers are quick and responsive and make excellent recommendations off their very large menu. Highly recommend to order a side of their garlic sauce! It's creamy and delicious with the gyros! Definitely worth a stop next time you don't want to make dinner!

The food was good and service was fine considering I ordered takeout. I'm knocking off a start bc the prices are borderline offensive.... $30 for a combo plate for one chicken kabob skewer and some gyro meat is wild! Why are 3 falafels $20?

I went to Greek Corner Cafe on Christmas Eve with my friend and was warmly welcomed by the owner and his team. As for the food, I never would've thought to mix meat and hummus until coming here. It tasted amazing and paired very well. While you eat, there is a hand-painted mural of Santorini to look at. It truly feels like a slice of Greece in Carmel Mountain!

A cute little Greek restaurant with very authentic flavors. The gyros sandwich is massive and has such a great price for how big it was! I recommend getting the baba ghanouj as it was a wonderful side to pair with anything really. The portion sizes are pretty big so you could comfortably share it with another person. A great little Greek restaurant to stop by if you're craving some Mediterranean up in north county!

We used to go to this place before Covid because their Kebob and Salads taste perfect, not salty but tasty. I'd rate that past experience 5-star. This time, two reasons why we gave this place only 4 stars are: 1. Over-priced for a neighborhood restaurant at Rancho Bernardo/Poway area. A 2-skewer Kebob plate for almost $30 is way too much considering that we just ate at Baba Kebob in Miramar and their 2-skewer Chicken Kebob plate is around $20. 2. So many comparable Greek/Mediterranean restaurants in the area that offer the same items at reasonable price. This place has to offer something special and unique to be able to justify their premium price. A 4-star rating is still okay but to get a 5-star rating, I recommend adding speciality items in your menu that can justify why you can charge more.

First Visit, Instant Fans!…read more We stopped in this afternoon with my wife and our four sons after a busy day out, looking for a quick meal--and The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill completely exceeded our expectations! The restaurant was spotlessly clean, and the service was impressively fast, which is no small feat with a hungry crew our size. But what really made our afternoon was Milab. She was incredibly nice and welcoming, and we couldn't help but notice that even when she wasn't processing customers, she was actively cleaning and keeping the place looking pristine. That kind of hustle and attention to detail really stands out. And the food? Absolutely delicious! Every single dish hit the mark. We came in as first-timers and left as definite regulars. Totally worth it, and we will absolutely be returning. If you're looking for great Mediterranean food with fast, friendly service in a clean environment, this is your spot! We ordered the Great Greek Gyro and it is a really good size. Our 3 and 5 yr old could share the next time. Our hungry 7 and 9 year old devoured them. Thanks, Ashley & Lindsey Head

Happy Memorial Day:…read more My Mom and I decided to pay our respects for the fallen on Memorial Day at Fort Rosecrans so off we went . The day was a mix of clouds and sun so it ended up still being nice weather . The drive out there was not that crowded so that was a good thing. I read a review from another Yelp Elite and they talked about how they came here with their mom and they really enjoyed it. Upon entry we were greeted by the staff and it was a wonderful sign that they had really good customer service. It's a very nicely decorated Greek restaurant. There is an indoor seating area that can see probably about 25 or 30 people. Also, there's a patio adjacent to the indoor dining room and it's a covered patio for dining that looked like it may see more people in the inside. The outside patio is decorated with a lot of plants and it just looks like a Greek Courtyard type setting. We ordered: 1 Gyros Plate, Olives and Feta Appetizer, and 1 Arnold Palmer and 1 Iced Tea. The olive feta appetizer plate came out first and it had fresh pita bread with it. The gyros plate came out shortly after and it had large slices of gyros meat, Greek salad, and buttered rice. Everything was very tasty and delicious. Our server had really good customer service and she frequently checked on us to make sure that we had what we needed. I did note that there is a lot of nice traditional Greek music playing in the background like the other Yelper indicated. This adds a really nice touch to the environment and the ambience of the experience. Overall, it was nice to come here. Service was quick and good. Food was tasty and freshly made. I plan to come back to try the Dolmades. I love those.

The pita was warm, soft, and fresh, while the hummus was perfectly seasoned. The spicy green zhoug added a nice kick and really elevated the dish. Next, we had the pappardelle. Another great dish overall. My only critique is that the sausage was a touch saltier than I expected, but it was still incredibly flavorful and well-executed. The harissa grilled lamb chops were a standout. They were juicy, tender, and packed with flavor. Paired with the cucumber and tzatziki, every bite felt balanced and delicious. I'm not sure if the feast portion sizes change based off the parties but for some of the serving like the vegetables or amount of pita I wish it matched the amount of people in the party (for example the vegetables had three pieces of veggies per type of veggie but we were a group of four and there were three pitas).
