Had a large order for a family gathering and everything was delicious! We ordered a couple pizzas, garlic knots, and the fried zucchini. Pizza is the nice thinner foldable kind with a crust that isn't too chewy. Ours wasn't greasy like some other pizza chains. Knots were great and so was the zucchini. Delivery was fast too. This will probably be our go-to pizza place in Great Bridge from now on. read more

Excellent pizza in Chesapeake. Finally decided to try it for the first time since Baba's opened in this location. May have become my favorite. Got the 12"supremo, garlic knots, salad and some cheese pizza slices for the kids. Pizza was perfectly cooked, plenty of toppings and crust was perfect mix of crunchy outside and soft inside. The order did take a while but patience paid off. Will definitely be returning. Our server was excellent as well. Very friendly, attentive and kept us informed of order status. read more

The value of this food became apparent when the salad came out. I order the eggplant parmigiana and it came with a salad and garlic bread. The salad came out first and it's was FANTASTIC. Fresh as can be. The eggplant came out later (and yes, a little bit later than I wanted but it made up for it) and it was phenomenal. Everyone needs to try this place out. Very very good. We were at Target on a Friday night in Edinburgh. Not many places out there to eat and saw this place. Thought we would give it a try. Started with garlic knots - awesome. Lots of fresh garlic and olive oil. I had cheese steak which had an abundance of steak and flavor. He had meat Stromboli which came out looking so good. Nice crust with more garlic and Parmesan sprinkled on. He said it was really good. Now we want to comeback and try the pizza. Service was great by Lindsey. My friend and I tried Babas for lunch today. The staff greeted us right away and had our order and drinks within minutes of our arrival. There were lunch specials written in full view to choose from in addition to a menu with numerous selections. We had checked out the menu on this site prior to our arrival so we new we wanted to try the toasted raviolis as our appetizer . There were 12 raviolis on the plate , considerably more than we expected, with the best marinara I have ever had! We had the ziti and lasagna with a fountain drink and garlic bread. It arrived , the perfect portions , with a nice size of garlic bread. Everything was great! All of the staff were so engaging and pleasant and went above and beyond to make our visit We will definitely be back! read more

My experience - Came in On a Sunday eveninng. Less than 10 people in the p!ace. Waitress apparently was inattentive, I sat there for about 7 - 10 minutes - waitress still hadn't even offered a drink or a menu. I got sick of waiting for service and left. I love this place-the food is very good and they are the by far the best Italian restaurant in the Hickory area. Their chicken Fettuccine Alfredo is awesome!! My husband really likes the lasagna and the pizzas are good too. My review would be 5 stars, but I do have 2 complaints. The first is the wait times for pickup - usually 45 minutes to an hour. (One time, it ended up being 1 1/2 hours because I think they forgot to process our order, but that's not the norm.) My other complaint is that they close down for nearly every holiday weekend. I get that they need time off too, but I'm sure they could find a few employees who are willing to work the holiday weekend instead of completely shutting down! What other restaurant does this? I can understand Christmas and Thanksgiving, but they close down for Columbus Day, Labor Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, etc. This sucks for me because my family will usually go out of town on holiday weekends, but I typically do not go with them. I like to order out on these weekends and my first choice is always Baba's, but sadly they are always closed! :( read more

Food was very good. I would have given it five stars but for the VERY rude waitress. We showed up at 8:15. The door says they are open till 10:00. There were two other tops seated. Waitress acted like we ruined here night by showing up. Rushed us, would not remove empty plates and bottles (i had to put them on an adjacent table). We left at 9:00. I went there tonight for the forst time with a friend and wow!!! The food was amazing. I got the Margherita Pizza and garlic knots. So good. The pizza was not greasy, super crispy crust and perfect amount of ingredients. Garlic knots on point! A little wait but not unsurprised for a Sat night. I saw a review from another person that was there tonight.....and i was there the same time as her. I feel motivated to comment that this person who said the owner was speaking to her in "broken english^.....the person i overheard her talkimg to spoke perfect english, so im not sure who she was speaking to, but i understood her. By far the best NY style pizza in the area. The crust, sauce, cheese and toppings are all fresh and perfect together. I have Sal's, YNot, Andrea's, Bricks wood fired as well as all the chain pizza joints within a couple minutes where I live but I'll drive the 20 minutes to get one of BABA's pizza. I have only enjoyed their pizza but my 25yo son says the Stromboli's beat all the other places listed above hands down. Should easily be the "Best in Chesapeake"!!!! read more

My boyfriend and I went to try this new place in our neighborhood. We requested a party for 6-8 and the owner couldn't accommodate us. I didn't understand what he was saying bc he spoke broken English and when I told him I didn't understand he walked away from me. The place wasn't even busy so we didn't understand why they couldn't accommodate the simple request. Ended up going to Pizza Bella Vista. Was dissatisfied with the customer service. I asked for a call head pizza order. I Placed my order and drove to the restaurant. When I arrived I explained we wished to eat there and we called our pizza order in. The hostess advised they don't allow that. I would understand if the restaurant was busy. However, the restaurant was nearly empty, with only a few customers. They would have seated us if I hadn't called in an order. There was obviously confusion with what I was asking on the phone order. But with the restaurant not being busy I would have appreciated they letting us eat in instead on eating in our car. On a positive note, the pizza was very good. read more

I came to this restaurant tonight and all I can say is WOW!!!!!!! The garlic knots are a must try! The pizza was better than I've ever had in the area and the customer service was amazing. I can't get over how great it was. Even my picky eater, my five year old son, ate a pizza with spinach, pepperoni, and mushroom which is a huge step for a strictly only cheese pizza kid.
