What a fun place to wrap up my birthday weekend celebration. Babe's Tea Room is a small, cozy, comfortable and bright tea room with an excellent, friendly staff. My daughter had booked the full afternoon tea experience. There were 4 of us, including the 2 Littles, and our main server, Caleb, made recommendations with no caffeine for the kids and brought us 3 separate towers of goodies. He brought the Littles specially sized princess tea cups. Everything tasted fresh and delicious and Caleb made sure to explain each item. We probably tried 8 different teas and he told us how to use the timer on the table to steep each one perfectly. Each tower of goodies had 3 levels with sandwiches, scones and desserts. I hadn't heard of a carrot cake scone before but it turned out to be a favorite - with lemon curd. The cushioned bench with pillows was so comfortable that I didn't want to leave but since they were full the whole time we were there, and it had been almost 2 hours, I knew they needed the table. They sell a huge variety of loose tea as well as bakery items. Its a great place for a special occasion and I look forward to going back.

Wonderful tea spot. Very cute and decorated. Service is mediocre. The tea selection is wonderful and the food is excellent. The afternoon tea food selection gives you a bit of everything. It's a lot of food and always gets me full, if you can't finish it, ask for a box and take some home. This is my second time here and both times were great. I'll be back but for special occasions since it's a bit expensive.

SO CUTE! Definitely sit on the patio - the warm tea is perfect for a cool day! Beautiful views of Golden. Service was so friendly and helpful with recommendations when I asked. The gluten free scones were sooo good and came with lemon curd, jam, and an English cream. Don't skip these! Cucumber cream cheese tea sandwiches fit the vibe perfectly, though I wasn't a huge fan of the cucumber vinaigrette. Hugo spritz was perfection, and the peach white tea was delicious!

fun morning date for Valentine's Day or with friends/kids. I've been about 3 times and the tea is great and the sandwiches are always delicious. I will say the service varies each time I've been. Particularly when they choose to explain how the tea service should work, which is really a part of the experience for newbies. It's also a tad loud.

I had the most wonderful holiday tea at Babe's Tea Room in Denver! The moment I walked in, I was greeted with a beautifully decorated, festive atmosphere--sparkling lights, elegant florals, and a cozy winter charm that made the whole place feel magical. The afternoon tea set was absolutely lovely. Each tier offered something delicious--from soft, flavorful sandwiches to freshly baked scones and an assortment of delicate sweets. The teas were fragrant and comforting, perfect for a chilly day. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. It felt like the perfect way to celebrate the season. If you're looking for a charming, festive, and delicious holiday outing, Babe's Tea Room is definitely worth a visit. I can't wait to go back!

What a cute little bakery!!! LoHi area. I definitely want to come back for tea service! Great staff and cute ambiance. The lemon bar was delicious and we tried the chocolate vegan cheesecake. The macrons look delightful.

Was in the area, saw the beautiful entrance way so decided to stop in. They were fairly empty for a Thursday morning. Got the seasonal matcha latte which was lavender peach and ube. It was delicious! Also got the turkey Brie sandwich with arugula side salad which was good. my friend got a seasonal scone. The lemon curd served with the scone was delicious as well as the cream/butter. The server was friendly and we enjoyed ourselves.

This was my first time at a tea house and what a fun time. The inside is very crowded and rather loud so we opted to sit outside. It was great at first, but then it got chilly (they have blankets), the wind picked up and dust was flying around since its technically in the street so be aware of that and the weather that day/ We did the 90-minute experience on a Sunday around noon. Mads was our server, and they were great! We were able to try 6 teas and also bought a bottle of prosecco. The tea sandwiches were not my thing minus the turkey. But my friend really enjoyed the cucumber one. The chicken curry salad was a very unique taste. The best bite was the scones! I loved both of them but the plain with some jam was to die for. Delicious. It was $48 to start and then we added a few things, so it ended up being around 70 per person which I thought was fair. Lots of great picture moments here. I would be happy to come back on a less busy day and try to eat inside. Overall, 4/5 stars!

My friends and I went for an afternoon tea and were overwhelmed by the various tea options in the menu; they all sounded good! The staff immediately greeted us and was very friendly and knowledgeable. We ordered the ballerina white tea, strawberry tea, and blueberry tea (not pictured). The teas were delicious! With an addition we got various of treats such as tea sandwiches and desserts. It was delicious and very filling! We did the $60 afternoon tea and it came with various pots of tea of our choices and delicious desserts and sandwiches. Definitely would recommend this place for a get together with good friends or any occasion!

Made my usual stop at Babe's Tea Room for high tea. Delight and beautiful as usual, though a few things were forgotten for our table (jams, lemon curd, Devonshire cream and tongs for our sugar) the staff were very helpful in remedying that. I made my way home with a cute little to-go box and loose tea afterward. Great for catching up and taking photos. Visit Babe's!

I brought my teen daughters to the Denver location for a mother/daughter date. Their Valentine's menu that was $60 a person for the afternoon tea experience which tours unlimited tea samplings. It was NOT worth it. You have a timed reservation and service was slow so, we felt rushed. They only allow you two pots at a time and it took a long time for the server to come back and check on us so we were rushing to get in a few more pots of tea at the end. So, for nearly $200 - we only got 5 tea samples and a small tray of sandwiches and cookies. Not sure what kind of "experience" this was supposed to be but, it was not even close to worth the price.

Such a wonderful experience! Went here with a friend visiting from out of town and we loved it. They explain everything and give you time to make your selection. There are so many tea options to choose from. The ambiance was spot on and plenty of photo ops!

The service and atmosphere is great! I had a seasonal glittery bev that was incredible good! And the curry sandwich was my absolute favorite! I don't recommend if you are not really into tea because it can be price at the end of the day! But definitely a great place to take grannie when she is in town or just the girls!

The location is in a historic building, so it's got a lot of visual interest, but it's also in the center of the sort of lobby area (not sure what to call it) and a bit tightly packed, so it also feels pretty exposed to whatever noises are going on, which isn't my favorite type of setting, but is certainly unique and would be enjoyable for those who don't mind. There was definitely a tour of the building that occurred during part of our tea, which brought some extra background noise, but not egregiously so. There was live piano for a time, as well, which was lovely, and the servers were quite nice. The tea service itself was good--my friend had called ahead and made the arrangements as she (being the local) was more familiar etc., and they were able to provide a vegan set for me and a gluten-free set for her (plus the normal set for her friend), and we all enjoyed the snacks. No idea if they are able to accommodate both vegan and gluten-free, but they might. Nothing was a standout to me, but I also liked everything on my tier well enough, which is itself an accomplishment. The tea was good as well, but as is typical in afternoon tea places, most of the variety comes from flavored teas, so if you prefer unflavored, your choices will be more limited (but there are still a handful to choose from). Overall, a really nice afternoon tea experience (if a bit on the expensive side), just be aware that if you have any dietary restrictions, arranging ahead by at least a day seems to be a must.

So make sure to plan accordingly if you would like the holiday afternoon tea November through January I did go on to open table and there was a cancellation which was relatively easy and straightforward to book. As a guy that never had afternoon tea, you definitely want to dress up. Atmosphere wise it's 90% women with maybe 10% families. I would absolutely recommend it if you have 4-Year-Olds and up. I got the signature experience which was $95 that includes 1T selection, a set of scones, finger sandwiches, and then desserts, and it also has an included menu. That's a little more robust. In hindsight, I probably would have stuck with just the classic. The signature was great but the classic is so filling. It's kind of Overkill. For the classic they even offered extra sandwiches. I noticed most other tables seem to enjoy their tea and the scones and maybe one set of sandwiches and then took the second set of sandwiches and desserts to go. I think I would have taken that route the next time. If you've never gone to afternoon tea, I'd recommend watching a short YouTube on proper etiquette, there is some pretty interesting information on the difference between high tea, low tea, and if you're supposed to be using a knife on your scone or breaking it with your fingers spoiler alert, you are supposed to break it. During the holidays the decorations are fantastic and perfect photo backdrop. Ultimately a really good experience and I'm looking forward to going again

The decor strikes a balance between warm and minimal: nothing generic, nothing overdone. The coffee program is serious. The carrot cake latte is the standout order: it delivers actual depth and warmth rather than a sugar rush dressed up as a seasonal drink. It tastes like someone in the kitchen actually thought about it. Staff were attentive without hovering -- the kind of service that's easy to take for granted until you notice it's missing somewhere else. The dual café-and-cocktail-lounge concept means The Wild works from morning through late evening, which gives it a versatility most coffee spots can't match. The concept sounded perfect: a traditional three-tiered tray of finger sandwiches and sweets, a plated item like quiche, and bottomless tea over a three-hour reservation. To start with the positives, the staff were kind and polite, and the owner was accommodating when our group size increased closer to the date. The tea was good, and I appreciated that the teapots were kept warm with tea lights. The space itself is charming, and we genuinely enjoyed having time to sit and catch up. The food was delicious, they are amazing cooks. The biggest issue was the timing of the food. In every afternoon tea I have attended, the three-tiered tray is brought out shortly after being seated so guests can graze while enjoying tea. A plated item may follow later, but there is always something to snack on early in the experience. Here, we went almost two full hours without any food at all. The quiches arrived around the two-hour mark, and the three-tiered tray, which is the centerpiece of afternoon tea, did not arrive until about fifteen minutes before our three-hour reservation ended. No one was rushing us out, and we did enjoy being together, but waiting an hour and a half to two hours for any food simply is not reasonable. We were genuinely hungry for the first half of the visit and then suddenly had a large amount of food placed in front of us near the end. Instead of grazing leisurely, we were left trying to eat everything in a short window of time. With a reservation made weeks in advance and only one other small table present, it was surprising that nothing was delivered within the first hour. Even reversing the order and bringing out the tiered tray first would have completely changed the experience. We also received only one three-tiered tray for six people at a price comparable to other Denver tea houses where each guest receives their own. When we asked for boxes to take the remaining items home, we were told they only had paper sleeves. Afternoon tea items are delicate by design, and paper slips are not suitable for transporting layered finger foods without crushing them. Given that the tray was delivered minutes before the reservation ended, proper takeaway containers should have been available. Tea service was steady for much of the visit, but toward the end all three teapots sat empty for about ten to fifteen minutes, and I had to go upstairs to request a refill. This was secondary to the food timing, but it added to the overall sense that pacing and oversight were lacking. I truly wanted this to be a special afternoon, and I appreciate the kindness of the staff and the availability of vegan options. However, afternoon tea should feel thoughtfully paced, with food arriving early enough for guests to graze comfortably. Waiting nearly two hours for any food and then receiving the full tiered tray minutes before the reservation ended does not align with what high tea is meant to be.

The sound is intentional, the vinyl selections feel curated, and the space encourages you to slow down and be present. Located in the Arts District of the Santa Fe neighborhood, ESP HiFi is walk in only, so arriving early is a good idea since it fills up quickly. The menu includes seasonal cocktails, highballs, natural wine, warm drinks, non alcoholic options, and small bites, with tastings focused on Japanese whiskey and mezcal. I had a walnut mezcal based cocktail, and ordered olives and Marcona almonds as a snack, all of which fit the vibe perfectly. They also offer a daily happy hour or "social hour" from 4 to 5pm. It was also fun watching the mixologist seamlessly switch between making drinks and DJing, which added to the experience. Yes, it is dark inside, but that is part of the atmosphere. The staff is not overly talkative, but the music is the whole point here, and that focus feels intentional. It is a popular spot and definitely gives hipster energy, but in a self aware, well executed way. If you are expecting a loud, social cocktail lounge, this is not it. Warm, happy to have us there, easy to talk to. I mentioned to my friend that I was thinking about a bloody mary, and a minute or two later Ryan asked if he should get that bloody started. He'd caught it in passing conversation, not because he was hovering. That's a hard balance to strike and he nailed it all afternoon. The drinks were great. Nothing fancy on my end, a bloody mary, a shaken screwdriver. Not too strong or weak. Sounds simple, but a lot of bartenders can't consistently hit it! We all got eggs your way, simple stuff done well. The roasted fingerling potatoes were crispy outside, fluffy inside, super good!! The strawberry jam was giving homemade, but I didn't confirm. Overall, Ryan made the visit. Calm presence, good company, and there's nothing better than a brunch seat at his bar next to those big open windows!

This was just for lunch, but started out sharing the crab croquettes. Fluffy and lightly fried with a perfect mayo-based dipping sauce. A great start. I had the Koji fried chicken sandwich that was very good and we shared a spectacular gooey butter cake with a dollop of vanilla ice cream for a shared dessert. The stand-outs were the crab croquettes and the gooey butter cake. Both were incredibly good. Would definitely return and try some of the more entree-ish looking things for dinner. You should definitely give this place a try. Ciao, David
