I really like the vibe of this location, although it can get super packed during dinner times. It was only 3 of us and we did have to wait quite a bit for our food but it was definitely cooked fresh and piping hot. The fries and the gravy were the best part of both of these dishes. The tenders were a tad bit overcooked so they were kind of hard and dried out. The chicken fried chicken originally had a good taste but as I got more toward the middle, it was very greasy/oily, as if the went straight from the fryer to the plate instead of draining the excess oil. We also ordered a kids burger and it was very delicious (I would've liked to order an adult burger but they use buns that have sesame seeds.... FYI for anyone with a sesame allergy; the kids burger DID NOT have sesame). Overall I would come back again and continue to try other options on the menu. I also hope that the tenders do come out better the next time and that this time was just a fluke. read more

I have been to other Babe's locations in my area before, but this new location opened up not long ago right down the street from me. This one is located on the loop 410 access road right before Culebra Road. We had been driving by every week anxiously awaiting its completion. My first observation was how small the interior was. There isn't anything special about it--small, single dining room, open kitchen, a few TVs, and a small outdoor patio. I was actually kind of concerned about finding a table because it was just about full. It didn't take too long after we placed our order to be called. The burgers tasted great and the fries were the fresh cut kind. My husband and I both enjoyed them. Their menu has a variety of options like chicken, salads, wings, pizza, nachos and of course, burgers. I can't forget to mention the beverages! Nonalcoholic drinks like tea, soda and shakes as well as imported and domestic beers. Something for everyone! The service, I might add, was great and very friendly. Went here yesterday around 530pm. The kid who took my order was so polite and super helpful. He had great customer service. I noticed as soon as customers left, the staff would clean up the tables right away. Our food came out pretty quick and my burger was perfect. The buns weren't soggy with grease like other babes we have been to. Everything was super yummy. Will start coming to this location from now on, hopefully it's consistent. read more

This was a quick late night, don't feel like cooking stop. This location, maybe because it was newer, was far better than the others. The food was quick and fresh. Remember what I said about the other locations...inconsistent. So we may need to revisit in the future to make sure it's the same. We had the guacamole burger with fries, and the midget had the bacon cheeseburger with onion rings. We also had the fried jalapeño rings. The negatives. There was absolutely nothing guacamole about my burger. It was just plain avocado. Was a little disappointed. They should call it avocado burger. The meat could have used a tad bit more seasoning. It also seemed pricey compared to what I believed I paid in the past at the other locations. Almost $50 for just us two. Even with the added cost of the jalapeños seemed a little pricey. The positives- His burger was good. The onion rings here are spectacular! Thin, battered perfectly, and cooked to perfection! By far some of our favorites anywhere. My burger was good too, but it wasn't guac. I live the sesame seed buns. The jalapeño rings were great, but could've maybe used a bit more time frying. The fries were good. I'm a fan of the home style fries. The portions are above the industry norm I can say. Plus you can get refills for your drinks. A young boy helped us at first. Food was great. After the food I wanted ice cream their was a lady maybe in her 50's highlights in her hair. She brought in her child to sit while she worked. Came to this location first time yesterday. I didn't know what I wanted so was looking at menu, the cashier had awful energy and I felt like I was being rushed and she was annoyed. My husband ordered and I ordered for my kid and I just decided I would order later but after dealing with her negative energy I didn't even want to go back and order anything from her. Needs to smile or at least not look and sound like she hates her job. My son's burger tasted no better than a school lunch burger. Would not return to this location. I'd never been to this location and had high hopes because I love the one on Potranco, but their service was weak today. Ordered a double cheeseburger and onion rings from a woman who never made eye contact nor greeted me. I waited about 15 to 20 minutes for my food and never heard my name called. Walked up to the counter and my order was sitting there waiting to be picked up. The person standing over that counter looked confused when I talked to her, like she didn't know why my food was still there. I asked if it this was for Steve and she said yes and I took my tray. The food looked great. My onion rings were perfectly fried and battered, but they were room temperature when I bit into them. The bun was toasted, but also room temperature by the time I got it. I'm a professional chef. Kitchen and restaurant manager experience of 35+ years. I have safe serve certification and Texas Manager Food Certification. I have been going to the one on Fredericksburg for years and have always been pleased with the quality and consistency of the food. But my visit recently to this location was very disappointing and made me not want to visit Babe's ever again. Me and my friend sat approximately two hours in this location eating and watching a game when I noticed that the cook had the box of meat on the counter and the cheese's on a tray sitting out the whole time at room temperature. Which any cook or chef or kitchen manager should know this IS A BIG NO NO! The temperature danger zone is the range where bacteria grow very quickly in food. * Danger Zone: 40°F - 140°F (4°C - 60°C) * Within this range, bacteria can double every 20 minutes. If the room temperature is above 90°F (32°C) (for example a hot kitchen or outdoors), the limit drops to 1 hour. After that time, harmful bacteria may grow to unsafe levels--even if the food looks and smells fine. Service was awful. They made my two burgers wrong so I called to see when I can come in to have them remade as I live 40 minutes away. They proceeded to tell me it was okay to come in within a few days and to give my name when I come back and they would remake them. I went in the very next day and they refused to have them remade as I did not "come in on the same day" absolutely horrible customer service. Do not go to this location. read more

Went to new Babe's on 410 and Culebra and although we love Babes, we were very disappointed with the food there. Fries tasted kinda burnt with small bits and pieces of frIes. Onion rings were stuck together with batter. Food not prepared the same as the other Babe's locations. Not going back to this location. read more

The potranco location is WAYYYY better by far !!! The group of kids working at the 410 and culebra location are way to nonchalant and don't care how long you've been waiting for your order .. I literally walked in there was no one in line .. there was a girl at the register she smiled at me then walked away then I waited there at the register another 4 or 5 minutes b4 anyone cared if I wanted to order something.. she said 10 qr 15 minute wait and waited 25 minutes.. came home and the order was wrong ‍ very upsetting read more
