I LOVE BabyStacks! But this one needs help! My wife and I went to this location for the first time yesterday. The waitress was very nice and attentive, but the kitchen majorly dropped the ball on my wife's order. She ordered a Cowboy Omelet without mushrooms. The food came fairly quickly but the omelet was undercooked and the eggs were still a little runny inside. No big deal, it happens. She sent it back. While waiting for her omelet to get re-made, I finished my breakfast. The table next to us ordered, received and made it about halfway through theirs. The waitress apologized repeatedly and promised she has been telling the kitchen to hurry up. My wife decided to just cancel the order and then it showed up. With mushrooms. Ugh. She refused it and explained that it was not supposed to have mushrooms. This is the worst part... the manager BLAMED THE WAITRESS. She told us it was her fault as she didn't put the order in correctly. But... she did... as the first time it didn't have mushrooms. When we complained about how long it took, the blame switched to my wife sending it back. According to her it took so long because the kitchen had to cook the eggs thoroughly, which takes a while. She did remove the item from the check and included a discount, which is why this is a two star review and not a one. But really? Blame your waitress for your kitchen's mistake and the customer for not wanting undercooked eggs? Do better. read more

The best thing I can say is that the food came out very quickly, which was appreciated. Unfortunately, the food itself was disappointing. The pancakes were dry, even with butter and syrup. I ordered the loco moco with garlic rice--the garlic rice was great, but the burger patty was very dry. There was also so much gravy that it felt like an attempt to compensate for the dryness of the meat. What really impacted the experience, though, was the service at the end of our meal. While we were still sitting at the table, paying our check and finishing the last few bites of food, the busser reached directly between my husband and me to grab empty plates. There was no "excuse me" or "may I take these?"--just reaching across us without any acknowledgment. It came across as very inconsiderate and lacking basic courtesy. Fast food delivery is great, but food quality and customer service matter just as much. Unfortunately, this visit fell short in both areas. read more

Saw this place all over social media and knew I needed to have breakfast here! I walked in and I was seated right away. It was a Tuesday around 10am and it was not packed at all. The server got me water right away and she eas very sweet and patient while I ordered since it was my first time there. The menu had so many options and the inside was very chill and welcoming with really pretty decor all over. I ordered the sisig plate and upgraded my pancakes to the ube pancakes! The pork in the sisg was really good, tender and seasoned lightly, I didn't like the bell peppers in the sisig so I ate around them. The garlic fried rice was also made perfectly . Sunny side up eggs were a bit over cooked and didn't run as much as I would have wanted them too. I asked for lemons and squeezed it over the sisig and it made the dish just that much better! I definitely recommend doing that. The ube pancakes were amazing! They ube flavor wasn't too strong and it was balanced with the ube drizzle that was not over powering either. The white chocolate and macadamia nuts were a nice touch and the sweetened condensed milk brought it all together just perfectly! They were so good!! Solid local breakfast spot right by my in-laws house. Whenever I'm in Vegas visiting family, I'm sure to stop by here for the Adobo Fried Rice Omelette. The place has a regular dinerish breakfast spot vibe. Nothing fancy, gets the job done. FOOD*** Lolo Rick's Adobo Fried Rice! I get it every time, always consistent. Can't find this anywhere else. This was our first time at this location and certainly won't be the last. Everything was so good from the kind staff to the food. Even saw staff wiping the table legs and chair legs after each set of customers left, I've never seen that before. Decor is consistent with other locations. Very good and always consistent with their food.There's always a wait so you know its good. Today wr had a different dining experience. We had a new, young waitress. We've never seen her before and I think she's still trying to learn the ropes. When my husband ordered his omelet, our waitress misunderstood him and she asked him how he would like his eggs cooked? My husband and I looked at each other with confusion. So we confirmed that he was ordering an omelet. Then she asked us thats wrapped in eggs right? I think just about everyone knows that thats what omelets are. When I orderd my skillet with toast, it took a long time to get my toast. My eggs got cold and the yolk wasn't as runny by the time my toast came out. Our omelet and skillet dishes came out first then my husband's pancakes and eventually my toast. I find it disappointing that pancakes come out first before toast. Pancakes take more time prepping than toast. When we were just about done eating, the waitress brought us our check and we asked her for 2 to go boxes. She never came back so I told my husband to go up to the counter and pay the bill and ask for a to go boxes. Our waitress was also up at the counter and then went to get our to go boxes. The pancakes for it being a pancake based restaurant was pretty disappointing. The plain pancakes tasted like just flour mixed with milk and water. It was bland and really didn't have that buttermilk pancake taste or even a buttery pancake taste. I also had the white chocolate macadamia nut pancake and it wasn't impressive either. The syrup was also a big no-no. It's not REAL syrup & it was real slimy. I'd prefer to have like a real maple syrup or just real syrup in general if you're gonna have a restaurant built on mainly pancakes. We also ate the country-fried steak & corned beef hash. The steak was pretty good but the gravy could use some work, it was real grainy. -The corned beef hash was also pretty good. I liked the flavor of the hash and it was probably the best plate out of all that we ordered. Also the unused utensils that we used smelled like egg, like it wasn't washed properly. We just had ube pancake at the newly opened Hawaiian restaurant Guieb cafe yesterday and didn't feel quite satisfied, so we decided to have pancake again to go at our all time favorite pancake breakfast spot, Baby stacks. We always had ube pancake, German chocolate pancake with either lemon ricotta pancake or the garlic rice with short ribs. The garlic rice here is definitely the best. This is the first time we've been to Babystacks Spring Mountain. We've been to each Babystacks location once. Ten years ago, the hubby and I went to the one in Henderson and got our meal generously paid for by nice strangers. Seven years later we went to the location on Spring Mountain when I was pregnant with our first child. And then flash ahead to today and we're trying out the Mountains Edge location with two kids. This was the best experience yet. It was a good experience even with a toddler and baby. The staff got us promptly seated as quick as they could. Service was very friendly. Pancakes were amazing. We ordered the short rib and got it with a short stack of bananas foster pancakes, the kids meal LJ scramble with strawberry shortcake pancakes, and a full stack of ube pancakes. The short rib was whatever; very fatty and not great flavor. Eggs and hash browns were standard and good. But let's talk about the pancakes because the pancakes were so good and honestly the real reason why anyone should be visiting a place called Babystacks. The ube cakes were decadent and rich. Topped with an ube drizzle and served with a side of some sort of condensed milk like syrup, it was pure ube dessert heaven. We had leftovers that we finished off for dessert later that day. The bananas foster was ooey gooey and sweet. The cakes were classic buttermilk but served with a generous heap of bananas swimming in a cinnamon caramel sauce and whipped cream. This was my favorite even though it's arguably not unique. Lastly the strawberry shortcake was sweet and fruity with a nice crunch. The base is strawberry flavored which is unique, and there was a healthy topping of graham cracker crumbs. Just wish there were more strawberries. Our toddler loved the food, though she's still too young to appreciate pancakes. The baby was an angel and slept the entire meal. Husband and I enjoyed our food and reminisced on our first time trying Babystacks Henderson. Couldn't have asked for a better Sunday brunch. read more

My order was ready by the time I got there but they put the container with my Ube pancakes in sideways so it didn't look so great by the time I got home. I ordered the sisig plate, ube short stack, huevos rancheros, and a buttermilk pancake short stack. The pancakes were great. The sisig plate was good but wouldn't call it sisig. This local restaurant chain is a success story. I remember when it was just the original BabyCakes location at Buffalo and Smoke Ranch. It has since changed its name to BabyStacks (since a restaurant elsewhere already had that name) and grown to eight locations, which I have been to six of, so far. The secret sauce of its business model has allowed it to not lose quality as it has expanded across the valley. The decor, quality, and service are consistent across the locations. Although the many flavors of pancakes are the main feature of its menu, the rest of the menu is fashioned after contemporary cuisine of the Hawaiian Islands. However, the patrons are from all walks of life, rather than the 9th Island. My least favorite part of the impressive menu is the absence of vegan options. During my occasional visit, my favorite item is Lolo Rick's Adobo Fried Rice. I upgrade the side to a short stack of German Chocolate Pancakes. This time, I tried the Strawberry Guava Pancakes for a change, which were good, but I didn't like as much. Service has always been great at any of the locations I've visited. The only thing I didn't like was that as soon as we finished eating we asked for a box while we were still packing our leftovers into boxes and pay our bill we were told that we needed to leave the table because there were people waiting. Upon arriving there is ample parking available. When arriving, I was greeted warmly by staff who were friendly and helpful with recommendations on both pancakes and specialities. The restaurant itself was hopping but still incredibly clean. They offer Hawaiian and filipino inspired specialties as well as standard breakfast fare and a ton of speciality pancakes. I got the Spam Scramble with a side of pancakes. The eggs in the scramble were fluffy but I did want a bit more color on the spam to add a bit of Smokey flavor. The garlic rice is delicious and mine was super fluffy. That is worth the upgrade in my opinion. As for the buttermilk pancakes, they had a light crispy exterior with a fluffy inside but were super light to eat, which made me finish all of them. Their strawberry lemonade also hit the spot and I appreciate that you can get free refills when you dine in on that premium beverage. Service was super friendly checking in multiple times and efficient with me receiving my meal less than 15 minutes after I ordered it. They were also very efficient about clearing tables to ensure limited wait for guests. I also appreciated being able to pay my bill on my phone. My friend and I came here for brunch after a hike on a Saturday and it was busy! However, we were greeted and seated right away. We ordered the Adobo fried rice, ube pancakes, buttermilk pancakes, and the sisig pate. I like how each entree you are able to choose toast, pancakes, or potatoes. The adobo fried rice was okay. The rice was mushy and wet, and surprisingly bland. There wasn't as much meat either. That was a bummer. The ube pancakes were good, but it was missing the ube flavor. It tasted like coconut and vanilla. So that was alright. The sisig plate was good. Again, the garlic rice was lacking garlic and flavor. Some parts of the sisig also could have used more flavoring. The buttermilk pancakes were dense and dry and kind of over cooked. Our server was okay. She kept walking away from us even when we were still ordering and had to flag her down multiple times. I usually get the kalbi with garlic fried rice and egg but they had a special going on that they are testing out- Ube bun longanesia burger . Comes with an egg , tomato, onions and a special sauce. It was pretty good , but what would make it even better would be if the onions were grilled . The raw onions were cut thick and slipping out every time I bit into the burger. Everything tasted great, and I'm honestly so glad I made the drive. The burrito and salsa were delicious. The pancakes were soft and fluffy, and I appreciated that the strawberry preserves came on the side so I could control the sweetness. I tried this location for the very first them mid March and I was in shock how freaking amazing this place was. First time visiting, I ordered the corned beef hash with rice and eggs with a babystack of ube pancakes. Goodness, those ube pancakes pack a punch. It was supposed to be a side but it was pretty much a full meal on its own. They don't skimp on the portions here. The corned beef hash plate came with with rice (or you can upgrade to garlic rice) + 2 eggs cooked your choice. I got overeasy on my eggs and that was perfect. You honestly cannot beat breakfast food on a weekend, there's just something about it that is nostalgic, at least to me! When we also came the first time, my party of 2 was luckily seated immediately but I swear not even 5 minutes later, parties after parties lined up in queue. Service is also on point. First impressions last and that young lady who helped us on our first visit was so accomodating and patient considering they have quite an extensive menu but she broke it down for us, explained and went above and beyond to provide recommendations too. With this, we enjoyed the food, service, ambience that we came back a 2nd time the following week and brought another friend. They too loved this place. The adobo fried rice was phenomenal and their red velvet pancake too. So far, this is such a great addition to my list of top eateries in my side of town. I was disappointed with the food here. Everything was just ok. I came here on a recent trip to Vegas because the good reviews, but I don't think I'll be coming back. We came here for a late breakfast early lunch and the place was packed. We waited about 30 minutes for a table but the food came out relatively quick considering how packed it was . The service was friendly, and our waiter checked on us often. It could have been our fault for going to a place called Babystacks, and not ordering specialty pancakes. As a local girl missing her Hawaiian style breakfast, BabyStacks hits the spot. We were sat quickly but waited about 30 minutes for our food to arrive. Food was perfect, but us and 2 other tables had to ask for more pancake syrup so I do recommend the restaurant provide more or leave a bottle at the table so customers don't have to wait to eat their pancake. Also, this is my second location I have visited and for both, all tables are close together that it's hard to squeeze through and I can clearly hear another person party's conversation.
