    Sabich ($17)
    Jennifer H.

Came here for an early dinner on Sunday, and there was no wait. My friend and I split the Tuscan kale salad ($14), oyster mushroom ($16), and sabich ($17). I got the Moroccan cigars ($14) for myself, and she got the seabass ($19). My fave was the Moroccan cigars. It was basically like a spring roll with lamb and chicken inside. The side sauce was too spicy for me though. I also enjoyed the kale salad - super refreshing. The oyster mushroom dish was interesting - the spices covered the mushroom taste, so it kinda tasted like chewy chicken. The sabich was also interesting - there was a hard boiled egg, eggplant, potatoes, tomatoes on top of a pita. It was fun to try these different dishes and different flavors. Service was quite slow despite the restaurant not seeming to be super busy.

I came to this restaurant for dinner through Entrepreneur Dinner Club on a Tuesday night. The restaurant is not huge so it was a bit cramped in there because I think there were four groups that day. It was definitely bustling with energy and good vibes. The waiter took a little bit of time to get to us, I think, because it was so busy. Once he took our order, he was super attentive and on top of it and the food started coming out really quickly. Now they will tell you that the dishes are tapas style but as you can see from the pictures, they're actually maybe two to three times what tapas style really is. Just be mindful of that. I ordered four dishes thinking that it was going to be small plates and it actually turned out to be like regular-sized plates of food. I definitely ended up taking a bunch of stuff home. However every single thing that I ordered was really good and that was the hard part because I wanted to eat all of it but I also didn't want to be a fatty especially in front of new people. My most favorite dish was the broccoli. It was so well flavored and perfectly cooked. My next favorite dish was the oyster mushroom dish. I thought it was going to be oyster mushroom kebabs but it actually turned out to be like an oyster mushroom flatbread. The oyster mushroom was seasoned so well that it actually looked like meat and had to use a flashlight to really look closely at it. When I bit into it it was definitely an oyster mushroom and tasted so good. My next favorite dish was the beets. I got it without the cream. I also got the broccoli without the dairy as well. The beets were really fresh and delicious. I also got the bread, which I didn't expect to be as good as it was especially with that garlic oil that was so good. The bread was fresh and warm so I would definitely get that again. My least favorite dish is actually the sea bass. That's not to say that it was nasty or anything but I feel like the skin could have been crispier throughout. The skin was only crispy on the thinner end of the fish and not really on the wider end of the fish. The sea bass wasn't really well flavored in my opinion. The corn and the shishito peppers were definitely a really nice touch to the dish so I appreciated that. I also really liked that it had those tomatoes in there. All in all I would definitely come back here. I also learned that there's multiple locations so I would definitely try out one of those. I was just very well pleased with my experience.

The mixed dips. bread was like insanely good - pic doesn't do it justice.

This place was delicious. My favorite thing was the Moroccan cigars. The drinks were also very good. We had a number of cocktails. My absolute favor thing though was the atmosphere. We ate outdoors and the vibe was so chill. They don't rush you and bring the food at a good pace. Probably was like 2.5 hour dinner. But that's what we were looking for catching up with old friends.

Went here to celebrate a birthday. They asked if there was an occasion for the dinner. We said we're there for a bday celebration. During dinner, we even asked the server what she recommends for a birthday dessert. The birthday dessert came out... but there was no candle. That was a little disappointing. The staff was good, otherwise. The food was pretty good. They love putting green onions in most of their plates. LOL I enjoyed sitting on the patio. The interior is too dark for my liking. Don't get an espresso martini here. It's not good!

This is definitely one of those places that can get away with selling you bad food and market it as bougie. However, the atmosphere of the restaurant was very nice. The bathroom was really clean and well decorated, and the staff outside were very welcoming and friendly. Each person of your party will most likely have to order 2-3 dishes for themselves to be completely full after eating. The portion sizes are also pretty small so keep that in mind. The dishes seem cheap, but due to how many you have to order to feel full, the price adds up quickly! Expect about $30 per head. Our favorites were the mac and cheese and the brussels sprouts. Overall, expect a moderately fancy/upscale restaurant with a very warm atmosphere but relatively average food. Worth a visit if you are in the area!

Casual bar/lounge/lunch and or dinner dining spot in BH. Great place to take a break after a long day of shopping or to grab some food quickly. Honestly didn't have much expectation but I stand corrected. Most orders were tapas portions (except the pizzas although still reasonably portioned) which allowed us to try several selections off the menu. Can't pick a favorite as they were all exceptional. And the drinks were also top notch. 1. Asian pear and Brie pizza: excellent. The leftovers were also just as exceptional. Flat bread pizza (6 small thin slices) topped with guava fromage, arugula, slices of Asian pears for the slight crunch and sweetness. Fantastic. Just order 2. Shawarma tacos: Smokey chicken with cabbage and pickled onions. Very good. 3. Tripoline Pasta: handmade pasta with pasilla pepper cream and romesco (to give it a creamy and nutty texture with a slight spicy kick). Phenomenal. Ended up ordering a second. A must order!!! Also had the love letter cocktail which was the best. Japanese whiskey with toasted marshmello garnish which gave it a sweet and Smokey flavor to the cocktail. Well done Bacari!!! Definitely another stop or two soon.

When Bacari opened in the valley, I was intrigued to see how it compares to the location in Beverly Hills. What better way to find out than a brunch resy for Mother's Day. This location is at the corner of Brighton Way and N Camden Drive. They only do valet for dinner so it's going to be street parking but there's a parking structure around the corner next to Marea. They were definitely busy given it's Sunday and on Mother's Day but our server made sure we were taken care of. If you're not familiar, Bacari does Mediterranean Small Plates family style. For a party of 4, we got 6 plates and it was more than enough. The Beverly Hills location is a definitely a vibe and I recommend to sit outside especially if going for brunch. Also if anyone asks, it's pronounced bah-ka-ree.

Food was absolutely amazing! Everything we tried was delicious and had a wealth of flavor. Definitely a place where you should get a lot of things to share. Service was excellent but definitely slow for the amount of people that were in the restaurant. Definitely recommend for a night with friends or date night.

i went here for my birthday last night and let me tell you, i had a freaking TIME bacari is such a beautiful place. i love the ambiance, the interior, and all the whimsical decor around the restaurant. i literally love coming here for pictures, and i'm so glad i got to celebrate my birthday here and take photos with all my friends we came for the late night open bar, so we had the full 90 minutes. we got there around 9:15 pm and stayed until closing, and even though it was late, the service was still really nice. they kept making sure we had our drinks throughout the night, which i appreciated we also ordered some pizzas for the table and some baguettes to soak up the alcohol while we were drinking, and both were really good and honestly very necessary lol. i'd definitely recommend getting at least the bread if you come for the open bar. i loved the roasted garlic they put inside so much that i literally ate the whole clove anyways, i had such a great time. thank you guys so much for having me and my friends i can't wait to come back to bacari

I went to Bacari Beverly Hills and it didn't at all disappoint. Our group was seated quickly on a Sunday night. We were wanting to eat from the dine LA menu but it wasn't very exciting so we decided to choose dishes from the regular menu. I had the Little Gem Salad and chicken sliders. Everything was well seasoned and overall tasty. For the cocktail, I had the Love Letter. This was a standout drink! It's a whiskey based cocktail but the passionfruit gave it a fruity touch. It's made with honeyed whiskey, passionfruit, lemon and a toasted marshmallow garnish. Yuri was our server and she took great care of us. Her recommendations were on point.

This is not my first time at bacari but this is my first time at this location. The food is always 10 out of 10. I love that I can try vegan and vegetarian options and love it as much as I love the others because the flavor is so good. Service was good though. They forgot about us a couple of times because it got hectic. And you can't go wrong being that close to rodeo drive so the ambiance was there. Would definitely go again.

Really enjoyed our meal at Bacari. We ordered fries, a flatbread, and the fish--everything was good, but the fish was the standout. Perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Service was attentive and friendly!

Hands down, this is the BEST Bacari I have ever been to! None of the other locations come close to having such an amazing staff as this Beverly Hills location. Our waitress, Moe, was kind, patient, and honestly one of the sweetest people ever! She spoke so highly about how much she loves working there and how great her manager, Leah, is. Moe never missed a beat -- she was attentive, reliable, and always responsive to our needs. Hearing an employee genuinely praise their work environment is rare, especially in the restaurant industry! Now, Leah was incredible! I had no idea she was the manager because she worked right alongside the team with such humility. She personally walked us to our table and had the warmest, most welcoming demeanor. She was friendly, attentive, and accommodating to everyone's needs. I also want to mention the hostess -- I didn't catch her name, but she was a very kind young lady as well. The food was absolutely delicious and came out surprisingly fast for such a packed restaurant. Cheers to the kitchen staff, too! And honestly, one thing I can say about Bacari is that the food has always been consistently good. I truly think the other Bacari locations could learn a thing or two from this one! I say that because I haven't always had the best experiences at the other locations. Thank you, Moe, Leah, and the entire team for giving my mom, dad, and me such a dream Mother's Day brunch experience!

Honestly, it worked out perfectly because they had AC and it was HOT in Beverly Hills that day lol. The inside of the restaurant was actually really beautiful too! There are other locations but this I think was the first one and since it was the one I frequented it's the one I will miss. I have so many fond memories of this restaurant. I came here as a little girl with my family because it was casual enough for a well mannered child but fancy enough to please the adults. One time I decided to get into shape. Every time someone asked me out for lunch or dinner I said I wanted to go to Il Fornaio. I would order a bowl of the vegetable soup or vegetarian soup of the day and the Regina Salad. The salad did wild arugula, couscous, avocado, red onions, capers, raisins, and lemon oil dressing. It was a fabulous and filling meal that also kept me skinny. I could honestly eat it every day and never get bored. During Covid I came here and we ate outside on the sidewalk. We enjoyed watching the pedestrian scene and "staying safe" while being able to eat out again. I really missed going out and I felt comfortable here which was important during Covid time. Every Halloween Il Fornaio would have 1/2 price pizza. My family made a tradition to order it. I LOVED this tradition and I'm going to miss it this Halloween. Their pizza was delicious. One time I came here with a boyfriend because they had a cooking class in the back. They had a huge entertainment room in the back of the restaurant. I wish I had a chance to have a special event here to rent it out. We had so much fun as we watched the chef talk about how to prepare each dish and what was even better is that we got to taste it in the end. We ate seabass with golden raisins, baked pasta with eggplant, and a cannoli for dessert. They even had a party souvenir which was an Il Fornaio plate to hang on the wall. Last time I came here was on the Fourth of July last year. It was also dine-la and they had the best deal of any of the dine-la restaurants. Not all the dine-la deals are good but this one truly was one of the best in terms of value for money. It was a three course meal with the most delicious fish entree. Who doesn't love a good deal? We had a fabulous time! Lastly, in recent years they added a happy hour menu to the restaurant and it was fabulous. I did another review on that so I'll keep it short here but the food and drinks were just wonderful. I will miss the friendly waiters who have been there forever. They don't make them like that anymore. Arrivederci to a true "classic"!

The pasta itself was perfectly cooked with great flavor. I wouldn't have minded a little more protein, but it was still a really enjoyable dish. We also had the Little Gem Caesar with chicken, a classic done exceptionally well. The standout, however, was the Diavola pizza. I would come back to Funke just for desserts & drinks. All the ingredients in this tiramisu were definitely high quality. - As for the service, our waitresses were acting like sharks all night. They kept rushing & rushing us as if we didn't make a reservation & we're ordering tons of food. They kept overly pushing us to order more as if their life depended on it. To be completely honest, I do not expect this behavior when I go to an upscale restaurant. The service disappointed me.

This is a review about a three-hour dinner we were still talking about a week later…read more First, the smell the moment we walked in confirmed we were about to have some seriously good, authentic Italian food, and Mother Wolf delivered. Everything from the food to the pacing to the service was exceptional. It was impressive to see how seamlessly the entire staff worked together. Our server, the bussers, sommelier and kitchen seemed completely in sync. Courses arrived with enough time between them to actually enjoy the evening, our glasses were never empty, and someone always seemed to check in at exactly the right moment (never hovering, never leaving us wondering where everyone went). They actually made a mistake with one of our dishes, but even that became part of a great experience. They immediately acknowledged it and offered to make it right. We ended up loving what accidentally arrived and happily kept it. Mistakes happen; how a restaurant handles them says far more about the quality of its hospitality. We were celebrating two birthdays, and somehow the entire staff seemed clued in. From our first greeting through dessert, there was a warmth to the service that made the night feel genuinely special. We even ended up chatting with our server about other favorite restaurants in the area and bonded over our mutual recommendations. Our only problem with Mother Wolf: everything on the menu sounds incredible, so apparently we have to come back multiple times. Tragic. One word of caution unrelated to the restaurant itself: I'd skip the valet. Our keys were left inside our running car for about 15 min while the attendant had his back turned across the street, which made us pretty uncomfortable. There's a lot about a block away where you can park yourself for roughly the same price. Otherwise, absolutely loved our evening here. Incredible food, exceptional hospitality, and a meal you keep talking about afterward. Can't wait to come back--and hit the speakeasy next time!
