Ordered takeout here and was a bit disappointed. I think we'll have to try in store for a better experience. The food was packaged well but lacked flavor and just didn't taste fresh. The pizza was excellent. I got a daily special which included a two topping slice of pizza, salad and drink. I chose the pepperoni jalapeño and it was very good. The salad was really fresh. If you had to get two pies, the GOAT CHEESE pizza with: MARINATED ROMA & SUN-DRIED TOMATOES, GRILLED CHICKEN, FRESH GARLIC, SPINACH & GOAT CHEESE and any meaty pizza would be a hit. I came in sunday noon and you can customize the pizza how you want. The crust was great, crispy. Sauce was decent, the weak point would be the cheese. Highly rec the Goat Cheese, for a signature slice it was ~$4 it was light and refreshing to eat. Pair it with something a little more greasy like pepperoni or sausage and your set! Came here twice. If you're from there northeast, you know exactly what this is; a local pizzeria. There's several in every town, and they're basically all the same. Thing is, they're very hard to find here in Texas. The pizza is as close to NY/NJ as I've had around here; thin and crispy, with the crust having just the right amount of chew. Very simple menu, as it should be. The subs are good because of the bread, which is a main thing. Could use some more sauce in the subs and entrees, but the people are nice and the pizza is top notch. Probably my family's main pizza fix spot for a minute. read more

My Fiancé and I have been here a few times now and each time has been great. This is A hole in the wall. This is definitely New York, Carrollton. They even have the Babe on the wall. They will serve you New York pies like Dave Righdetti on the mound. Got the lunch special & was exactly what I was hoping for. Great crust. Not overly cheesy. Good ratio of bread, sauce, & cheese. Cheese quality was not bad. Perfect level of saltiness. I'd def go back! Runner up if I could come here is Joe's on Parker. If I had more $$ to drop, I'd go to PieTap or Dough. That just places context of alternatives. I'm from NYC so in my time down south, I've grown accustomed to hearing Dallas pizzerias marketing themselves as NY-style pizza. Bacci's is no exception, and for the most part, they're correct. The pizza is thin and droopy like a NY slice, but whereas the STYLE is accurate, the QUALITY doesn't really compare to even an average NY pizza place. The pizza here was pretty flavorless. The cheese, sauce and crust were all pretty MEH. Making matters worse, the delivery man took about 10-15 minutes to find me as I stood outside the mall exit and ran through Dillard's a few times trying to track him down. That probably resulted in the pizza being closer to room temperature than piping hot and may have contributed to the overall meh-ness. Despite me calling to confirm my online order and asking for plates and napkins, they gave me absolutely nothing but the pizzas and the cheesy bread. They did, however, cut the pie into 16 slices for our cast party so good to know I wasn't entirely ignored. In any event, anyone giving this place 5 stars is a man or woman of questionable taste but anyone giving them 1 star is also slightly off their rocker. It's not great pizza by any stretch but it's certainly not bad pizza. read more

This place opened a couple of months ago and is our new favorite for pizza and pasta. We tried the calzone, pizza, and spaghetti with meatballs. Each was delicious, and ready quickly. The double decker meat pizza is unique and really good. Service was very good. There is a keg of Bud Light next to the fountain drinks that is free. Nice touch for a BYOB place. I work nearby and was glad to have missed the work lunch crowd after 1pm yesterday. The staff was friendly & accommodating. There were only a few other customers. The restaurant was quiet & noticeably clean. We wanted pizza 10in that wasn't on the regular menu - we didn't mind paying full price but wanted individual pizzas because we like different toppings. They were able to make this happen with no problem. We split a 1/2 Greek salad with house dressing and I ordered my pizza with pepperoni, beef & olive. The staff brought the pizza out hot to our table. Very tasty & great crust flavor. I didn't think I would...but I ate the whole thing!! read more
