Alfredo's is a cute, homey pizza place! Lots of options on the menu, from pasta to appetizers to pizza (obviously). You can build your own pizza or choose from a few options. You order at the counter and pick up at the counter as well. Staff is friendly and helpful! Decor is really cute and feels cozy. They've got cushy booths and those chandeliers you see in pizza places. We tried the caesar salad, garlic bread with cheese, and a pepperoni pizza. Caesar salad was perfect. I would skip the garlic bread with cheese-- it was basically a French loaf with minced garlic and cheese, rather than what I picture as cheesy bread which is pizza dough with cheese. Whatever! The pizza was great-- super hot, good ratio of cheese to sauce, and the crust was really soft and doughy. I'll definitely be back to try out some pasta dishes and maybe a cheesecake! read more

Personally I just love this restaurant. It is cheap and tasty Italian that gets us through when we need something quick. The service can sometimes be a little bit slow but nothing that takes forever or leaves you waiting more than like 15 minutes. It is a family run business and you will definitely see the same faces every time you visit. They've been around for like 30-40 years or something crazy so I remember eating there growing up and am still happy going there now with my kid. I was in the area during traffic hour. I decided to have dinner here and kill some time. It had decent reviews here and I was craving NY pizza. I walked in and the young man asked what I wanted. I looked at the wall menu and ordered for me and my daughter. They call your number here when the food is ready. They called my number for my salad. I wasn't sure if it was mine because I didn't see which number I had to look in the receipt so it took me a minute to realize it was my salad. The older gentleman who was calling the numbers gave me some attitude because the salad was obviously mine but I didn't react fast enough. Which apparently I was supposed to? Anyway I got up and got my salad then waited a while for the pizza and sandwich. The pizza was average. I was not impressed. The sauce/cheese combination was disproportionated (too much sauce). The cheese did not have too much flavor. And the crust was below average. The cold sub was ok. Not worth 10$. It was provolone and turkey. The italian bread was so hard. Not sure how my daughter was able to eat it. Overall the food was not all that. I was disappointed. It doesn't seem they use quality ingredients. Having lived in Carrollton for many years now, we had never been to Alfredo's before. We have friends that used to frequent the place that had told us about it. To be fair, the food was decent, but nothing special. We had a couple of the pasta dishes and a stromboli. The stromboli wasn't very hot, but it had good flavor and was quite cheesy. I enjoyed it. As for the pastas, the marinara was a bit on the spicy side, and the veal was inconsistent. Some pieces were tough while the others were tender. Like I said up front, the food was just not anything special. I can make better pasta and marinara at home. I really struggled to decide whether this should be three stars or four. First time coming here and I love the pricing and the portion sizes! Ordered Togo, my boyfriend has been to the Lewisville location multiple times and loves it, and I got a side Caesar salad and chicken parm. I ate the salad so fast i forgot to take a picture of it, it was perfectly tossed. It seems like most places are a bit stingy with the dressing but this one was just perfect, the way I like it and i appreciated the croutons were smaller. Chicken parm, I asked to swap the spaghetti noodles for fettuccine and they didn't upcharge me ( a lot of places do!). My boyfriend loved the pepperoni pizza and his tossed side salad Will definitely try again. Based on the other reviews I'm going to try the ravioli, my chicken parm was good but I feel like they probably have a better dish. The Caesar salad was excellent. Cozy small place. I love their House Salad with House Dressing, I could eat just that for lunch and be totally fine. I've come here for years sporadically on and off when I'm in the area. But this day, I order their Chicken piccata for lunch and was SADLY & HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED in the taste, the quality and flavor.... They offer dine in as well as carry out. We did dine here once before COVID, and the experience was pretty average. You place an order at the counter and then pick it up when your number is called. No table service, which is perfectly fine for such an informal setting. But the last few times we've dined with Alfredo's has been in a carry out capacity. This is a counter service place that wasn't too busy in a Saturday night. There was a large TV with a football game on, but it wasn't too loud. The dining room was clean. Food was hot and ready in about ten minutes. I ordered chicken marsala, which came with a side of spaghetti with tomato sauce. The chicken marsala was hot (not spicy), the chicken was pounded thin and tender, and the seasoning was just right. The spaghetti pasta was okay, but the tomato sauce was very tomato-paste tasting. I did not like it. There didn't seem to be any seasoning in the sauce and adding Parmesan didn't help. The complimentary bread was standard. My fellow diners were not impressed with their food either, but I'll try the place again. read more

I dropped in to try this place out with a friend and I was not disappointed. It is like your neighborhood Italian pizzeria which is no frills. By no frills means it is not intended to be a negative meaning but the place is quite simple which I like and a compliment to the place. At first glance, as stated earlier, your typical pizzeria and pasta place and then you notice the pricing. It stands out I mean. For example, a large slice of cheese pizza was 2 bucks and some change. You can get pizzas by the slice like most pizzerias offer. The spaghetti with variations of sauces from meat sauce to meatballs was $5.99. I saw 4 plus variations of spaghetti and I will be trying a new one next time I passed through again. The spaghetti is by itself with some toast, so don't expect a salad. You can't get better on their food pricing though that unless it was free. I think just about anything Italian, they could make and serve. You can eat here without breaking the bank and still fill you up. I really enjoyed my lunch there and recommend this place easily and it won't burn a hole in your wallet or purse. read more

First timer-- ordered to go, as we are still in a season of quarantine. The restaurant is actually still offering sit down option with restrictions. Old school Italian restaurant feel as far as decor-- pretty typical. For eat-in, you order at the counter, pick your own seat, get up to get your own food when your number is called. Ordered lasagna w/ meat sauce, Caesar side salad & chocolate cheese cake. It was about a 23-25 min wait, which I thought was excessive, considering there was one table sitting down. But there were a lot of to-go orders picking up, so possible they were backed up. When I got my order home, it was PIPING hot. Love it. I assumed the lasagna would be premade and just heated up. But no. It seems like they made the lasagna for this to-go pan only. The noodles were laid to fit my container. I could see why my order took so long--impressive. Sooo flavorful & cheesy! The bread it comes with is plain--@ first, wished the bread baguette was buttered or garlicky but with eating the lasagna, I just dipped it in the sauce and @ that point, it didn't need any extras. Salad was regular-- not over dressed, perfect. The cheesecake-- not sure if they make it in house or order it, it was really thick. A small slice but very dense.
