I frequent Bacco pretty regularly and love their pizza. The restaurant is always kept immaculately clean. The employees are always polite and hospitable. Tonight I ordered a Margherita Sicilian with extra cheese. When leaving I looked at the pizza and I wasn't sure if it had extra cheese on it. When I questioned the young lady about it the owner Johnny came over immediately. I asked if it was the right amount and without even looking at the pizza told me he didn't have to look. If I questioned it he already knew it wasn't right. This is how you treat your customers!!! Johnny completely blew me away with genuine hospitality. I visited here about two months ago and was disappointed to not see the food preparers wearing gloves when preparing sandwiches. I returned about a week ago and noticed that the food preparers were now wearing gloves when preparing certain foods. I was glad to see this change. You can order to-go or dine in. I ordered to-go both visits. There's plenty of parking in the area. My food was prepared quickly during my first visit. During the second visit I was told my food would take about 10 mins. Unfortunately it took about 30 mins. I ended up speaking to the lady who took my order. She told me that my order was overlooked by the food preparers and they all took a brief lunch at the same time. This wasn't a huge deal but is one of the kinks that the business will have to work out. My food was very tasty. I had the pure pleasure of dining at Bacco Pozzeria 2 weekends ago on Saturday, 12/16/2023 . I was celebrating my daughter's 8th birthday and she LOVES dining at Bacco's Italian Wine Bar. It's the pizza for her and the bolognese for me. Well that night at around 6:30pm the Italian wine bar in the same lot as Wegmans off Emmorton Rd and Wegman's Blvd couldn't accommodate my party of 5 as walk-ins. I was extremely unhappy and displeased with the turn away...and ended up at Bacco Pizzeria across the street. They were packed too, but there was 1 table left in the back, which my group took. As I'm placing my order with the cashier she had a hard time splitting my payment. I ask for my cash back and walk back to the table to tell my group we were leaving...when Johnny, their AMAZING Manager with the pretty eyes swoops in to save the day. Hunni!! He asked about my concerns, listened in, offered to call his partners over at Bacco Italian Wine Bar and when no one was available he offered to take of us AT NO CHARGE, due to the inconvenience we'd experienced. Talk about a HOMERUN. He hit the ball outta the park. All he asked in return was a Google Review. Well this is Yelp, but I'm gonna share the good news on BOTH sites!! As a result of that interaction, Bacco Pizzeria now has a new CUSTOMER FOR LIFE!!! I wasn't in search of a free meal and he didn't have to do that. We ordered a 12" Cheese and 14" Godfather pizza this evening. Both pizzas were NOT cut and slightly raw in the center. The cheese on the 12" pizza slid off and was stuck to the side of the box. The 14" Godfather pizza had mostly onions and green peppers on it. Very little of the 3 meats or mushrooms. Would NOT recommend this establishment to anyone. read more

You ever go to a restaurant and it's so good that you want to tell people, but then second-guess yourself because you (selfishly) don't want it getting too packed? Yeah, that's Bacco Pizzeria. We were always a fan of the original restaurant in Marketplace, but don't always feel like a full blown meal. Bacco Pizzeria fills that void, and EVERYTHING is excellent. The Diablo cheesesteak is delicious, and all their steaks rival steaks from Philly (grew up across the river in NJ). And all the pizza slices we have tried are fantastic. Even the kids spaghetti and meatballs looked great; first time I have ever tried my kids food. Restaurant is very nicely laid out and decorated. Tried for first time tonight. Pizza was good but delivery service was appalling. First I was charged a $5 delivery fee by Bacco, then another $5 fee by GrubHub. So my pizza and salad was over $50 - I was willing to pay for convenience. When the pizza arrived, the delivery person simply left it on our front steps. Never rang the doorbell. Never knocked. Nothing. Only reason I knew it was there is because I saw the guy walk by a window. I've never paid to have a pizza delivered - let alone $10. I have also never had a delivery not even contact me upon arrival. I don't care if it's GrubHub. When you own a business, who you hire and/or partner is an extension of your brand. If that's who Bacco hires and how they conduct business, I will gladly take my $50 elsewhere...and you should too. Plenty of other options in town. Absolutely poor experience. read more

Have tried the cheesesteak, fries, and pizza so far. For those who miss Neo Pizza that closed in Festival, generally my experience was kinda similar to that. The meat in the cheesesteak wasn't greasy, it was seasoned appropriately, the onions were thoroughly caramelized, and the bread tasted fresh. The cheesesteak tasted better without the lettuce- which thankfully was easy to take off as they put it on the top. The bread may have been the best part, so I'll try other subs in the future. The fries are fine, nothing special, don't expect much more than basic fries. They weren't crunchy or particularly flavorful beyond what you would expect from a plain baked potato. I try pizza just about every chance I get, so I have had a wide range of flavors from all over the US- this pizza tasted unique. Not in a bad or good way, I just can't put my finger on what the seasoning was that tilted the flavor. I'd not have a problem eating it again if a friend or family member wanted to try it to see what my idea of 'different' tasted like, but I'm going to continue trying other things on their menu when I go back next for myself. The staff seemed friendly enough, the place looked clean, and my order was ready at least 10 minutes before the estimate- so if you're ordering outside prime hours, go ahead and head to pick it up after ordering rather than waiting. It's still new, and the trend in Bel Air has always been places starting good and then tailing off, will see if this place keeps up. read more

We finally got to get some food from this newly opened spot. It was Friday at 7PM so it was pretty busy. We got a large pepperoni pizza, 10 buffalo wings (mild), crinkle cut fries, & mozzarella "logs". Despite being busy, the staff was efficient & attentive. We ordered the food to eat in. The fries were solid. The mozzarella "logs" were great. Crispy on the outside & that cheesy goodness on the inside. The buffalo wings were done just right. They were cooked thoroughly. Finally the pizza was solid. As a Harf Co resident, I really don't like the pizza places here but Bacco was solid. It will most likely be our go to spot moving forward. We didn't give 5 stars because the air didn't seem to be working because it was hot as heck in there. The staff that brought out your food & took away dirty plates were great too. read more

I was doing door dash and stopped in to grab an order for delivery. The order wasn't quite ready so I had to stand around and wait for five minutes or so and I could see the restaurant was super busy. The person I assume to be the owner or manager noticed i had to wait and he asked had i eaten. I was busy delivering all the other orders and planned to grab something for myself later. But now seemed like a good time to grab a slice while i waited. So i said no i haven't and asked how much for a slice. He proceeded to say no, I have this whole pizza here for you, do you eat pepperoni? Long story less long, he was super friendly, helpful and generous. He made sure other staff members checked back on the order i was waiting for and that I wasn't waiting longer than I had to. The pizza was great. I had two slices while I waited and then finished a couple more when I got home that night. This is now my go to spot when ordering pizza and I am going to be sure to take a date there and dine in very soon as well. read more

This is long overdue, but I had easily the most lovely restaurant experience ever here!!! I came in almost at closing (the floors were mopped), to pick up my order, only to realize my dumb self ordered the wrong thing. It was 100% my fault, but when the very kind employee (whose name I sadly failed to get) saw my face fall, he said he'd get me a new one and I'd take both home. I felt horrible since they were about to close, but he insisted, and he wouldn't he let me pay for the new one. He offered my friend and I wine while we waited. Then, as we left with two pizzas in tow, he thanked us for giving them the opportunity to get our business. When I assured him he had my business for life and mentioned we actually planned to return the next day for the Nutella bites we had just seen while we waited, he went: "You know what?" And he PRODUCED AN ALREADY PACKAGED TO-GO ORDER OF THE NUTELLA BITES. I honestly didn't even see where he procured then from. To recap, I messed up my own order almost at closing, and they fixed the order, gave me both, offered me a drink, and provided me dessert with no additional charge! They were honestly incredibly kind and wonderful. And, of course, the pizzas and Nutella bites were delicious! HORRIBLE way to run a restaurant, to dine in you have to fend for yourself to grab a table (they do not seat you) or as some poor diners were doing go stand in line at the counter to order Dine In food then hope by the time it comes out you can get a table. ambiance was loud and people milling around diners eating trying to wait people out and grab table.
