So glad I found this spot while visiting the city. I was so excited about it that I am writing this review immediately after leaving! This restaurant entrance is what draws patrons. It's so cute, and a great photo op. After snapping a few pics at the entrance we were promptly greeted by the host. We opted to grab a table outside, the inside was very cold to me. Our wait staff also promptly came to our table and introduced herself. We were able to place our drink and food order at the same time. I had the matcha latte with oat milk. The drink was perfection! It was not sweet and the perfect temperature. Honestly one of the best matcha lattes I have ever had. For my meal I ordered the breakfast sandwich and had the bacon placed on the side ( I do not eat pork). My friend had the pancakes. When I tell you that this food was amazing, it's an understatement! It is clear that everything is made with the finest ingredients and crafted with great care. The pancakes were so thick but fluffy and had an amazing taste. I am going to go ahead and say they were the best pancakes I have ever had! I wanted to try the pistachio croissant and honestly I regret the decisions. This is the only item that I did not enjoy. There was no pistachio taste, outside of the actual pistachios on top of the croissant. It was a disappointment for me. However, it does not take away from the amazing experience. It's a win for me ! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the friendly staff adds to the overall experience. However, the most important factor is that the food is great! Bachour is a must-visit destination in Miami. read more

I came on a Tuesday night. We were fortunate to have the place to ourselves. The food here is perfect. The ambiance is soothing and welcoming. The desserts are divine. Wow, nothing like starting your day with a perfect croissant filled with perfect dulcet de leche. We had the crab Benedict and the croquet madame as well as a beautiful latte. I enjoyed it. This review is being written during the COVID-19 pandemic, so a few words about that. The restaurant includes indoor and outdoor dining. The outdoor space is located in an internal courtyard with beautiful water fountains and manicured landscape. It is very well ventilated, and tables are far from each other. Waiters wear masks, and menus are disposable. No contactless payment option, however. Everything at Bachour is visually stunning. They use Contemporary French techniques in their cooking and baking, and there is no such thing as ugly food at this restaurant. I preferred the tiramisu gateau, which was very light with hints of honey and coffee. My companion ordered the huevos rancheros, which were delicious, but served at a somewhat underwhelming lukewarm temperature. Prices are compatible with the quality of the service and dishes. In summary, visually appealing, delicious food in a beautiful and safe outdoor environment, with execution that falls close to flawless, were it not for the temperature of the dishes. read more

Haven't sat down for a meal yet so this is based on their pastries and to go selection. Everything they offer is aesthetically pleasing and palate pleasing! I love the desserts here and I've never had a problem with the service. It is on the pricier side but expected for the size and quality. Wish I could give them 10 stars - great atmosphere, incredible staff and amazing pastry selection. We had breakfast, but the lunch menu looked like it would worth a repeat visit. What a great restaurant. Besides of being beautiful the service ( Angello) and the food was awesome. As an appetizer we had the Croquettes. Delicious. Loved the presentation. Had a glass of Sauvignon Blanc which it was delicious ( BTG Albarino Martin Codax). My friend had the churrasco with fries. Awesome. I ordered the Greek salad with chicken with cilantro dressing on the side. It was super incredible but I thought it has too much feta. Next time I'll ask for it on the side. Then we had the hazelnut brownie and the caramel tart. Delicious and beautiful t the same time. I will be definitely eat there again. read more

Unfortunately didn't even get to step foot inside. Today Valentines Day I added myself to the waitlist on OpenTable (see proof pic). When we get to the hostess she says that is impossible. I said I did through OpenTable. Her response "well we can not honor that". As the customer how can I be responsible for that. Correct your systems and always consider customer satisfaction when it is beyond their control and not their fault. I also wanted to mention it was empty and plenty of tables were available. read more

The place we normally go to for Saturday breakfast was closed which turned out to work in our favor since we ended up at Bachour. I had been before Covid times and can see they've made some great adjustments in order to make sure everyone is safe while they're dining here. There's plenty of outdoor dining if inside isn't preferable, although with today being pretty windy, inside we went. I had a delicious mocha latte (gotta do Pilates IYKYK) with almond milk mmmm will definitely be having that again in the future. For eats, I opted for the Eggs Benedict and my husband for a croque madame. The croque madame was 'uge and we ended up taking half home. The eggs benny were delicious and served with a perfectly dressed side salad and fries, great portions. Can't come to Bachour without some baked goodies so we each had an alfajor and a macaron. The alfajores were fantastic, the macarons were great but I ended up liking my husband's flavor better than mine (hate when that happens). Service was good. Vibe was good, food was excellent. There's a reason this restaurant has won so many awards--it's spectacular from the service to ambiance to food. They don't take reservations but on a Sunday at 11 a.m., our group of three only had a 15 minute wait. Loved our dishes: French toast was thick and pillowy soft, and steak was perfectly cooked. I'm forced to come here regularly, to me it's overrated. Their desserts are alright, the food is mediocre. The presentation is lovely, but you cannot justify those prices. I know a couple Cuban bakeries with better desserts for a fraction of the price. Oh and the service is hit or miss, depends on what mood the staff is in that particular day. read more

Brunch Sunday at one of my fave spots in the gables. We got there around 11:30 which meant we had to wait 30 min for a table because they don't accept reservations on the weekends. In the meantime my little brother and I took a walk around the area to make time pass faster. Once we finally got seated I ordered the caramel latte with an espresso shot. It was creamy and perfect for the outdoor Florida weather. They had ran out of the dulce de leche croissant so we tried the pistachio and chocolate Nutella mousse. The chocolate croissant was creamy and buttery, while the pistachio had a creamy pistachio flavor. I would recommend both, and the dulce de leche one too if they have it. For entree I shared the Spanish scramble. It had a decent amount of manchego cheese and ham. The eggs were unfortunately a little over done. I rate this visit a four because it took about 45 minutes to get our food and the waitress was not polite. I asked her what flavor croissants they had and she said to go inside the bakery and look at what they had available. I insisted that you tell me what flavors they had and she politely responded that I see what's inside. Therefore, I decided to waive my hand at the owner and ask what croissant flavors they had at which point he politely answered he would go inside to check. He came back five minutes later and told me what they had. read more

Had an early mid-week breakfast here recently and it was FANTASTIC! The food was soooo delicious. I had the Avocado Tartine with eggs + my boyfriend had the Eggs Benedict. I'm happy to say I've lived up to the promise of my initial review to return "time and time again," as I've since had numerous visits to Bachour! I recently came for lunch post-reopening, so figured I'd give a little update on my experience. I chose Bachour because they have a lot of outside seating. Walking by, I could tell the tables were very distant from one another and it wasn't crowded. The servers were wearing masks, there was a hand wipe on my table, and overall, I felt safe. I was surprised to find the Miami Spice lunch menu already available! I didn't go that route because I didn't have too much time, but it was a really (really!) good deal at $25. Instead, I opted for a Greek salad and matcha latte. It came rather quickly which was perfect for me. I also asked for a couple of pastries to go, which are always the highlight of any visit to Bachour! Overall, I felt very secure dining out here. In general, service can always be hit or miss. Oftentimes, the staff is really nice but will disappear for long periods of time and it's hard to flag them down. It was pretty good this go around, but something to be cautious of if you're in a time crunch. If you're ever looking for a sweet treat as a gift, this is also a good bet. A box of macarons is a go-to for me and always a hit! read more

Came here for dinner and wanted to try there dessert and french macarons, because I used to bake french macarons and sell them.. The place is nice and neat, we came here on weekdays so it's not that crowded that time.. For starters we ordered Wagyu slider frita, truffle fries, a salad (i forgot the name of the salad but I really liked the dressings they put) and short rib ragu (wc is also taste so good). Also got me a Latte to pair for my dessert. The dessert we tried are so delish and taste divine especially the mousse itself. Highly recommended if your looking for a french dessert spot. read more

Best. Desserts. Ever. I came for breakfast and left with two desserts as well. I figured, it's my birthday, why not. I got the strawberry mascarpone croissant, which was big, beautiful, flakey, and filled with mascarpone and a strawberry filling. I also got the hazelnut mousse and carrot cake mousse. They were so delicate, beautiful, and most importantly, delicious. Everything was extremely reasonably priced and I would've bought a giant box of desserts had I not planned to tour Miami for the day. Highly highly recommend!! So good. This place is a must try in Miami, (especially if you love pastries). I had the best turkey sandwich on sourdough -- so juicy and flavorful! Absolutely delicious food. Some of the staff members have a bit of attitudes, on inside. We typically eat outside and everyone has been very nice. We went to Bachour last year for breakfast and lunch and everything we had was delicious and freshly made. So we went back this year and we were a bit disappointed. The pain au chocolat was clearly reheated so it did not taste as good as a fresh one. The pistachio croissant was really bad! The cookies were just okay, nothing incredible, salmon Benedict was okay, tuna sandwich very good, the Greek salad was not great... overall not as impressive as it was a year ago. One thing I have to say is even though their desserts look so good and unique, it's very overpriced in comparison to LA prices (which is considered A very expensive city). Another local business on my local restaurants tour de COVID-19. Situated in the cutest part of Coral Gables, the exterior door frame of Bachour is laden with colorful flowers and leaves outlining it's pastel blue door. My mom and I were in the mood for something light on this particular afternoon so we opted for a croissant and an iced latte. Because we have no self control or discipline, we bought 8 croissants. All buttery, flaky and full of flavor; everything you want in a gourmet croissant. The only downfall to having such beautiful pastries, is that you don't want to eat them. The pistachio was indeed my favorite and the strawberry cheesecake was at a close second. Their menu does go beyond pastries and has sandwiches, salads and breakfast, so I can't wait to go back and give those a try. I'll be back, Bachour! read more

We did dine at four occasions at Bachour and honestly we have no complains a all. Food was awesome, especially the salmon. Wine selection was great at that time, and deserts are awesome. 3.5 stars. Maybe because I follow the Instagram page daily I was expecting too much? I just wasn't impressed. Whoever is in back cooking breakfast needs a lesson on cooking eggs. My over easy on the croque madame was over hard. It would've been good with a runny egg. The poached eggs on the bennie were also over hard. On every plate I could see coming out today. Over hard. The portions are HUGE (splittable) and very greasy. French fries were very good though and not greasy. Had I known all of this I would've just ordered a pastry with my coffee and been extremely happy but the breakfast just ruined it for me. We stopped in for brunch on a Saturday afternoon and were seated outside in their courtyard, which is breezy and airy. I ordered the eggs benedict and they were perfectly made with plenty of ham and a soft center. My friend had the egg sandwich which was delicious, the hubby ordered the burger and he loved it. His fries were hot and crispy. For dessert we tried the guava pancakes. These are soft, sweet and delicious. Would've liked a bit more syrup but otherwise perfect. White sangria also tasty! I visited Bachour, on October 1st, at around 1:50 PM, with the intention of enjoying some pastries during my brunch outing. Regrettably, I encountered an aspect of my visit that I feel compelled to bring to your attention. As I approached the display case showcasing your delectable desserts, I was approached by a cashier with distinctive black hair that was picked up. I simply inquired about the flavors of the desserts on display, expecting a quick response. However, the cashier's initial response was to rudely suggest that I consult the menu instead. I complied with her suggestion and retrieved the menu, hoping it would clarify my choices. Unfortunately, I still encountered some difficulty distinguishing between the desserts due to their similar appearances. Feeling a bit perplexed, I returned to the cashier and kindly requested her help once more. This time, she set the menu aside and took it upon herself to describe each item. While she provided the information I sought, her demeanor throughout the interaction came across as very unfriendly. I took a moment to explain my need for assistance and apologized, but her response felt dismissive, as she simply replied with a curt "ok." In light of this experience, I proceeded to place my order and subsequently left. It was disheartening to encounter such service when my inquiry merely required a brief 10-second response. The restaurant did not meet the standards for a Michelin star. The staff lacked knowledge of the menu, were impolite and dismissive. In addition to the poor service, the quality of the to-go food was subpar. Given the price, the presentation of the food was unconvincing, as it appeared carelessly thrown in the box. The "steak and eggs," priced at $29, were overcooked and had a texture resembling hard leather. The eggs were also overcooked and lacked any taste. The "egg Benedict," priced at $17, was a disappointment. The dish consisted of a hard-boiled and tasteless egg, accompanied by a sad piece of toast and unseasoned cut potatoes/home fries. The Hollandaise sauce was not up to par, as someone who has tried 40+ different types of hollandaise from all over the world I'll be the one to say that it tasted improper. Although not typically one to complain, this experience warranted an exception. Attempts to resolve the issue with the staff were met with further dismissiveness and rudeness, with the staff gaslighting us into believing the food was supposed to be that way which is arguably worse . It is hoped that the Coral Cables location is an exception, and that the owner will take the necessary steps to improve the quality of service and food. read more

I want to express my sincere gratitude to the manager, Ligia, at Bachour. After an initial visit that left us a bit disappointed, she took the time to truly listen to our concerns. She was incredibly receptive to our feedback and kindly welcomed us back for another visit--and I'm so glad we gave it another shot. On our return, we didn't announce ourselves or ask for any special treatment. We simply came in hoping for a better experience--and that's exactly what we got. The service was on point, every dish we ordered was absolutely delicious, and we genuinely enjoyed our time. Only after we finished our meal did we briefly speak with Ligia to thank her in person. We were completely wowed by the turnaround, and it's all thanks to Ligia's professionalism and dedication to guest experience. Bachour truly redeemed itself, and we'll definitely be back again. Never coming back here again. Manager is an inexperience moron and absolute liar. We waited 15 mins for a steak knife, our server never checked in on us once food hit our table and he even argued about the bacon when we told him we don't eat bacon and bacon was in my wife's sandwich. My steak was also undercooked and poorly seasoned. Manager said he'd take care of the steak from our bill but he didn't. AMATEUR MANAGEMENT. UNACCEPTABLE. If you are a fan of the finest pastries and of delicious desserts, you cannot miss this place. We tried many of them, and they were all succulent in the traditional French way, such as in the finest Pâtisseries in Paris... This is the real deal and the chef takes pride and care with the finished product. The staff were excellent and very attentive. They are knowledgeable with the menu and engaging. We spoke with one of the owners who is on the floor watching every detail and couldn't have been more gracious. Their coffee is carefully selected, prepared, and served, and is definitely one of the better ones we've found locally. Even though we did not try their savory dishes, we are definitely eager to return to try them and finish our meal again with their outstanding pastries and desserts. Highly recommended ! read more

I have been a regular customer at Bachour Coral Gables for quite some time now, and it's always been a great experience. However, lately, the music has been unbearable, and it's really detracted from the atmosphere. When we asked the manager to turn it down a bit, we were disappointed to hear that it was the owner's decision to play it so loudly. What was even more upsetting was the manager's indifferent attitude towards our complaint. We ended up leaving the restaurant because of the music, which is a shame because we used to love coming here. I hope that the owner will reconsider their stance on the music, and that the manager will show more concern for their customers' experience in the future. read more

A fantastic breakfast if you're just by yourself or with a group of friends and family. But sure is certain to delete the senses and satiate all your breakfast desires. I do have to say that as good and tasty as the pastries bonbons and breakfast dishes were, the staff was just as friendly and knowledgeable of the whole menu and restaurant. It was a cold morning but the coffee was hot and the croissants were fresh. I even took a box home of assorted pastries and bonbons to bring back home to show my family. The minute I walked into this place I knew I was in for a treat. The style is impressive, almost like done by people of impecable taste. When you enter, you see the main attraction which are the desserts of the chef. They are to die for, I managed to try the Manjari and the Pistachio. Croissants are also world class. I came back a second time to try the food, and was blown away by the egg sandwich and pancakes. There is some real talent and passion behind this concept. Prices are spot on and service is amicable. What an fantastic experience! Ambitious was so cool what a great lite menu. We asked Alland about having a taste of the soup of the day . We thought we would get a little table spoon for a taste we got a cup. Wow the chicken soup was out of this world. Lot's of chicken. We got the chicken Caesar salad lots of fun lots of food. If you want to find the world's best street burrito, look no further. Whenever I'm craving a California burrito, I immediately head to this food truck. For $12, they stuff in fries, guacamole, sour cream, and your choice of meat. The employees like to keep the line moving, which is great especially during lunch. On another note, the barking of the dog, as well as, the very loud music. Much louder than it should have been - for background music. Our whole party, including 2 teenagers, were not happy. It's pretty disgusting not to hear anyone's conversation - on a Sunday morning. I spoke to the waitress about the music. She said she would "TELL THEM" Inside. Nothing happened. Shame on you and waitress. WHAT WAS THE PURPOSE OF HAVING SUCH LOUD MUSIC. I AM NOT THAT OLD THAT I can't appreciate music, but the loudness was a bit too much.
