The food is so delicious The cappuccino and the plain croissant are so delicious. The service was excellent. The ambiance was great too.
Avocado toast: the bread is insanely good. It's pretty light in seasoning, which highlights the taste of the breads. Parisian flan: the pastries are out of this world. I really enjoyed the flan croissant. Crab Benedict: perfect execution
Ok food but overpriced. I was confused by this restaurant. They have a Michelin star, I assume for the pastries only because the food was just ok. The madame Croque sandwich was one of the worst sandwiches I've ever had. Dry and flavorless. The eggs Benedict were ok. The highlight of the meal was the steak sandwich. We ordered an overpriced pistachio croissant which was good, but definitely not worth the price. But worse than the croissant was the Easter Egg dessert for $14+. It was tiny and sooo overpriced. I didn't even find it good. We were sat outside, in what looked like an afterthought of a set up. The ambiance was so weird. After the meal my kids wanted to seat inside by the window to watch how pastries were made. The whole bar across the window was dirty and lots of dirty cutlery were left all along. Besides us, no one else was sitting there. The mess had clearly been there for a while. Servers walked by it so many times and no one seemed bother by the dirtiness. Very disappointing.
I LOVE the entremets (mousse cakes) here. So beautiful and with delicious flavors inside. Sure they're pricey (around $14 each) and small, but they're sooo worth it in my opinion. Plus, this is one of the only (if not the only) places in Miami that has this type of dessert, and so many entremets to choose from!
I walked in to get a croissant for breakfast, just to take it to go, they insisted I have to take it in a box... It is such a waste of paper products. I cannot support this business given how much waste they are probably producing with all these giant boxes for just one croissant!!!!! Please do better, care about the environment.
I knew when I planned this trip with my friend that I wanted to take her here for her 1st time because I had loved its aesthetics as well as nice looking pastries! I ordered the Exotic Tart as well as one of their berry tart-like pastries and loved both! The tropical tart which had passionfruit was the perfect ratio of tartness with sweet, and the crust was the perfect texture. I also really enjoyed the berry dessert, because I'm always a fan of tart-like pastries with fresh fruit on top. I was bummed they didn't have a lot of their fun looking desserts since we went pretty early in the morning, but still just as good as I remembered! The service was great too and all the workers were super nice. Highly recommend! The chef has also won awards!
I came for breakfast as I was staying at the Marriott around the corner for work. I had the salmon omelette and a cappuccino. The cappuccino was delightful. The omelet was also perfection - I liked the salty salmon went well with the eggs, and the potatoes were unique (purple and orange) and the salad was refreshing. The waitress was fantastic and attentive and the ambiance was trendy.
I came in to Bachour today morning for a nice cafecito and some breakfast and was reminded about how much good hospitality can elevate any experience. Sergi our server was an absolute gem. He was helpful, sweet, and I really felt his love for working at Bachour -- it was so nice to see! We ordered an ice latte and an americano alongside tequenos + the breakfast sandwich. Tequenos were delish, nicely fried with little bubbles that make it extra crisp + their homemade salsa verde. The breakfast sandwhich had the freshest brioche buns I've had. Simply incredible!
Wow this place was amazing! Would come back every day if I lived in Miami. Arepa fritters were super unique and tasty, and they had a great gooey and cheesy center. The salmon Benedict was huge and the salmon was fresh, the hollandaise was rich and delicious, and the eggs were perfect. The side salad had a great dressing. My boyfriend had the guava pancakes which absolutely amazing.
Big space inside and outside seating. Visited two times. I will recommend to go early on day to get full supply of croissants. Service was good. Vegetarian food review Coffee was strong. Fresh orange juice - 4/5 Almond Patsry with berries - 5/5 - not super sweet. Berries add good taste. Went to Bachour for brunch, which was extremely busy. We were a party of six so we sat outside. Their outside seating is under an arch that causes a wind tunnel - it gets very windy. I was very surprised they have paper menus. Our paper menus were blowing away. I recommend Bachour adds a QR code to their outside tables to avoid the paper menus flying away. I was delighted with our food options: guava pancakes, tequeños, tostones, yogurt and berries, Burrata salad, and an egg sandwich . I LOVED that their OJ was reasonably priced. I don't think Brunch is an easy ordeal for popular Miami restaurants. All of their dessert looks SO GOOD! Honestly I would come back to try their dinner. I enjoyed all the dishes we had.
Such a beautiful place for brunch. The outside seating is covered from the sun and has a good breeze. The service is amazing, out waiter is attentive and took care of modifications and our preferences. The food was good - I'll say nothing exceptional but very solid. Steak sandwich - bread was good, steak was tender and was cheesy Melon and halloumi salad was fresh and crisp Croque monsieur was good and a good portion The star of the show were the guava pancakes, they were so good it's insane.
Spanish scramble is delicious! A must try. Guava pancakes is always a must, love it! Service and ambiance are always excellent!
Carefully crafted and well executed is the motto Bachour must live by! Attention to detail is always a priority and the atmosphere is pleasant. For a starter I had the arepa fritters which was savory and full of cheesy gooey-ness. I followed with the salmon Benedict, while one of my eggs was perfectly cooked the other was slightly over cooked but seeing as how hard eggs Benedict is to execute it doesn't even bother me because the salmon was EXCEPTIONAL. Our waiter Kenny was a pleasure and he was great even with it being a busy Sunday. Biggest drawback was the person servicing the pastry bar. The person was helping and talked to a single customer for over 10 minutes and never acknowledged me. Another employee got my order and handed me over to the original person ignoring me to ring me out and this person didn't say a single word just flipped the register screen around for me to pay. I believe a fair experience is to be given to all customers so this left a bad taste in my mouth after such a delicious meal! read more

Beautiful place. I honestly cannot stress how excited I was to come here as I'm quite a croissant fanatic. The restaurant is beautiful with an open floor plan and an interesting view of their bakery. I fell in love as I walked in. Upon reaching the counter we merely asked for a croissant to go. Which immediately prompted them to say we had to sit for service. So we did. We received our croissant and as we expected to crack through it, it disappointed. The croissant looked beautiful but was definitely not fresh. I would expect for a place known for their croissants to deliver exquisite products but this was honestly at the same level as a Costco croissant. Very disappointing. read more
It's a nice place to have Brunch. I originally went there for coffee and dessert and the wait time was over an hour on a Sunday. I wish they had a spot dedicated to quick coffee and dessert for those who won't take long or not having an actual meal. We ordered latte and their special croissant of the day and both were okay. The exterior design was pretty thou specially at the entrance. Something to keep in mind, the menu is not as comprehensive as the actual dessert availability so take a look at front to see the actual desserts before heading to your table so you know what to order! read more

The desserts here are *CHEF KISS* and the presentation is so delicate and unique! I sat down for dessert and a cup of coffee and had an order to go. This place is so easy to find and it's in the middle of Coral Gables so you can easily find street parking and then go shopping at other boutique stores after that! read more

Be prepared to wait on Sunday brunch time. You get a text which will show amount of parties in front of you, approximately how much time for you to get your table and how long you have been waiting. There are some benches outside. Waiter was great. Food was great. We bought dessert croissants and petits to go and were yummy. We tried many things including the Brioche Egg Sandwich (great), Eggs Benedict (great), Smoked Salmon Benedict (great), and Turkey Wrap (ok). They had a passion fruit sangria which was delicious! Also had latte. In order from favorite to least fave for the croissants we tried was Chocolate and Hazelnut Croissant, Dulce de leche, guava and cheese and strawberry mascarpone cheesecake. For petits in order of my favorite Exotic Tart, Pecan Paris Brest, Coffee Brulee, Daisy, Manjari. It is pricey but good for every once in a while. Recommend trying it. read more

I was really looking forward to trying Bachour's restaurant. I've been following him for years since I discovered his pastries at the St. Regis. My husband and I ordered the smoked salmon Benedict, the avocado tartine and the steak sandwich. The Benedict was cooked to perfection! The hollaindaise sauce really didn't have much flavor, it was good but very light. The potatoes were a nice touch. The avocado tartine was good, very basic but super fresh. While the flavor of the steak sandwich was amazing, the meat was all grizzle. The iced chai lattes were pretty much all milk, barely any chai flavor. The staff were so-so. The server never came to check to see if we needed anything while we were eating. The staff at the pastry area didn't greet us while we were standing waiting to order. We were waiting to make eye contact and finally someone asked if we were ready to order. It was an underwhelming experience. read more

The display case had a limited selection ...but the options were beautiful to the eye. We had coffee and each one of us selected a different dessert. Food was good but the service was questionable. I am a POC and was standing at the pastry bar with my baby for a WHILE (about 5 minutes) without service until my nonPOC husband came and stood next to me? Okay... Otherwise beautiful presentation of food and pastries. Just wish the service was better come in its 2022. This spot is a very nice spot to enjoy a little something before heading out to do your Saturday chores. It is a bit on the pricey side but the food is good. The food is nothing out of this world neither is the service. It's average on both. The sweets are what shine in this place. When I go again I will skip the breakfast and go for the croissants or sweet treats. If you do go breakfast with one sandwich two can share. That way you leave space for desserts. French fries or potatoes are $8 extra. Next time I will just go for the yummy sweets which was my favorite thing about this place. read more

Went there with friends not knowing what to expect, but I was very excited for the pastries. The food was good, I got the smoked salmon club and the filling was good but the bread was really hard to bite and even to cut with a knife, but overall tasty. The pistachio croissant was amazing, I'm not a huge fan of pistachio but that was delicious. The rocher croissant was definitely the table's favorite, I really liked it tasted amazing as well but nothing very different, just very nutella taste, which isn't bad don't get me wrong, but I like a more developed flavor. My favorite was the pecan cake, it was new that day and omg the flavors were immaculate!!! the sweet in the middle I think it was dulce de leche, omg!!! so delicious. The food was a bit expensive but the pastries were what I expected, croissants were $6 and the pecan cake was $10.95 a but pricey for the size but tasty. read more

Nothing special except the pistachio croissant and the guava and cheese pancakes. Pancakes are really good. Thick and puffy. I really like the texture of these pancakes. The creams cheese is a plus. Pistachio croissant is full of fillings. Other things are disappointing. Too little chocolate in the chocolate croissant and there is almost no cheese in ham and cheese croissantsstrawberry shortcake is mini but cute. read more

SHORT VERSION: OMG! Best dessert experience since I can't remember when,,,, Review: If the Witch had given Snow White the "Granny Smith Apple" petite gateaux made by chef/author Antonio Bachour instead of a plain poisonous apple, she would have gladly eaten it and taken the chance of death or a deep sleep until her prince showed up. No questions asked. She would have eaten the entire thing! As I did - slowly, savoring each bite, making it last, The "apple" small cake (that's what petite gateaux means) was shiny bright red. It drew my eye as soon as I perused the possibilities in the bakery case. It also comes in green - as in a granny smith apple. But the bright red circle dessert was so mirror glazed, it reminded me of my childhood and candy apples from a carnival. But like any of the other dozen small cakes listed on the menu, this dessert was a work of art to look at as well as to eat. Vanilla whipped ganache --- a creamy vanilla chocolate filling -- surrounding an apple compote in the center, and some almond cake. Sinfully delicious. My companions each tried something different. The "Gianduja Cake" was hazelnut cake with chocolate hazelnut mousse, coconut gianduja whipped ganache with hazelnut praline. Think a rocher candy taken to the max. I looked up the word gianduja. It is a sweet chocolate spread containing about 30% hazelnut paste that was invented in Italy during Napoleon's time. The "Banoffee Chocolate Tart" contained cocoa sable (sable means sandy so it has some texture), dulce de leche, banana, vanilla, cream, and manjari (a dark chocolate from Madagascar) chocolate mousse. All the technical terms aside, we were more involved in the taste. All you could hear were a lot of mmmm's and all you could see were smiles. They have lots of other items here besides cakes. They also have croissants, macarons, bon bons, cookies, danish,even regular food including sandwiches. But the stellar things here are the pastries...and the desserts. We happened to sit at the counter and got a chance to watch the bakers at work. They followed recipes carefully, and measure and weighed out each item for every recipe...following the chef's instructions. I said to the guy sitting next to us, "How can you be sitting there and not eating one of these amazing desserts?" He said, he ate there everyday. We told him he didn't look it. Our waiter (who was wonderful by the way), later told us that the gentleman was one of two partners/investors along with chef Antonio. On one hand, I hope they open another establishment closer to Fort Lauderdale (this is the flagship) but on the other, I hope not. I would be there every day sampling each and every one of the confections. Suffice it to say, if you are anywhere near Coral Gables, you must take the time to come here. Or if you love exquisite desserts that are amazing to look at and even better to taste, make a plan to drive here at your first opportunity. It's well worth every penny and every calorie. read more

I've had a lot of good food since moving back to South Florida, but Bachour is hands down one of the best. My boyfriend and I came here for brunch last weekend since he lives down the street and heard good things. This is now going to be a regular spot for us, and I'm dying to bring my mom here for brunch too! We both ordered the eggs Benedict and it was absolute perfection. The eggs were cooked medium, and the sauce was delicious. Not too salty or heavy. I loved that it came with a salad to keep things light. The tricolor potatoes were phenomenal. I have been dreaming of them ever since lol. We also tried the pecan croissant and the pistachio croissant. Both were flakey and out of this world good. Julio our server was excellent. Hoping we get him again the next time we come back. All in all the place has a lovely vibe, with seating indoors and out. Coupled with great service and amazing food makes this one of my top picks in Miami. read more

No doubts, my fav pastry shop in Miami but this time, it was disappointed to stop at Bachour's. We went for lunch yesterday around 1:50 pm and everything we ordered was sold out. Even their croissant ( their insignia) and ham croquet as!!! Come on! I ordered a glass of wine and again not available. So we had our bottle of water , a soup (no way to serve this soup like that, not for the price and place). COME ON twice!!! We just bought a couple of entremets to go and we went straight away to another place to finally had a decent lunch. Completely disappointed. read more

Looks like A million bucks...fails to deliver. Went to Bachour for brunch. Had the eggs Benedict which was just okay. It comes with a side salad that was drenched in salt. I heard they have the best desserts...and don't get me wrong, the presentation is impeccable (hence the photo). However, taste disappoints big time. Not even close to the best dessert. I wouldn't even rate it as good. Definitely not worth the $10 they charge for a little piece of cake. Waste of money! Staff is also emotionless and they act as if they're constantly annoyed. Cringe. Do yourself a favor and go get desert at D Bakers or LA Social. read more
I can't believe I haven't already left a review here. I am obsessed with this place. The owner was ranked the top pastry chef in the world in 2022, and it shows. Service was amazing for breakfast/brunch. Cappuccinos perfect. The pastries are huge, beautiful, and delicious. Everything is well done and cooked perfectly. The restaurant itself has a very nice indoor area and a lovely courtyard. We were here on vacation and came here all 3 days in the morning. I almost never go the same place twice, so that is a huge endorsement. read more

I definitely would say the service there is great. The inside and outside of the restaurant is really adorable. But, I was quite underwhelmed by the desserts. The sweet of the day was my favorite, that was the cruffin brownie. Both the cruffin and cruffin brownies were decent. For the price though I expected something amazing, and it wasn't quite that. read more

You will devour works of art! I'm most impressed with the skill and attention to detail put into each of these pastries. It's like being in Paris! There are many options and all combinations are magnificent. My favorite is the gianduja....hazelnut cake! It's sweet and chocolately without being overpowering. The pecan croissant is also a fave... love pecans and the croissant has a pecan filling. The place is beautiful and spacious. The entrance is definitely Instagram worthy with all the colorful flowers. There is also outside seating. It's open kitchen so you can see the baking and crafting process. Service is very attentive and friendly, I was helped with recommendations. One of my new favorite bakeries for sure. read more
