I wish I had the foresight to have the ice cream in a separate container to avoid the crispy fluffy funnel cake from going soggy quickly. I liked how not too sweet my ice creams were. They chatted in Italian for a bit, where he apparently shared with her how Mangiamo is a true, authentic gelato shop. It's a little Italian home away from the mother-land. And he was right! I had the salted caramel gelato; it was creamy and velvety on the tongue, with an explosion of flavor. I got their seasonal strawberry pretzel salad and cinnamon snickerdoodle. This was my first time getting both of these flavors and let me tell you, they are definitely must tries. The strawberry pretzel salad tasted like strawberry cheesecake, which was right up my alley. And if you love cinnamon, you have to get the cinnamon snickerdoodle. It is the perfect amount of sweet and tastes just like a snickerdoodle cookie. I also appreciate the good amount of mix ins for both flavors.
