a group of people sitting at picnic tables

Hidden gem right outside the town of Gardiner. Around mile marker 5 north of town sitting on the side of the highway. The food was delicious. The options were surprising for a food truck set up as there were lots of healthy and unexpected dish options made with lots of fresh ingredients! The quality is high. It was such a refreshing change from the types of foods we felt we had been limited to during our trip and with our budget. Prices were very reasonable for what we got here. We loved the ambiance as the sun was going down! Definitely need to be careful walking up to it from the parking area, especially after dark, as it's not level ground to the truck. They had just enough lighting to help you see the path up to the truck. There was one table set up on the level area beyond the truck that was easy to get to (on flat ground) but the other tables required navigating a couple steps down or around a few little rocks. We didn't mind it at all as it adds to the unique vibe, but wanted to point that out for others who may have mobility issues. The parking off the highway in front was very spacious (plenty of room for RVs) and lots of people were picking up food for takeout and eating inside their vehicles as it had become a little chilly after the sun had set. Definitely worth a short drive outside of the busy town area! Service was friendly too.

Went a on cold Saturday evening and found this gem of a place a bit outside Gardiner. As a vegetarian, this is my first time trying Tacos and they did not disappoint. They were made fresh, tasted great. Loved the whole vibe of the place and the location seeing the mountains is awesome. Must visit if you are in Gardiner.

Delicious food that is huge! The food truck serves fresh food that is made to order. It's on the pricey side so thankfully the portion and quality make up for it. There's tables with umbrellas set up so you can eat your food right there. I ordered the bahn mi wrap with chicken. The chicken was very moist and tender. The wrap had rice, cucumbers, cabbage, carrots, cilantro, and a teriyaki like sauce on it. I wanted more sauce on the wrap because it was so good. There was a little more rice than I like. We also ordered a side of fries. The fries were crisp and delicious on their own. My husband ordered a shrimp poor boy. The bread it came on with nice and soft with a flakey crust. I almost wished I had asked to substitute the roll for the tortilla on my wrap. The roll was that good. My husband said there was a little more mustard than he preferred on the sandwich.

I went there in summer, 2019. Nice outside picnic style eating area. I had a noodle, which is very American and not bad. It is not "ramen" at all, but it's very good option of food. If you expect Japanese Ramen or something, you will be disappointed of, but if not it is a great variety from Pizza, burger and steak food. Overall food price in this tiny tourist town is slightly overpriced, just FYI.

Saw the good reviews and decided to stop by and pick up dinner while in Gardiner. The Bear's Blood slushy was good and perfect for a warm summer day. The food was not great. We had the ribs, rice bowl with chicken, fish & chips, and ramen. The rice bowl was the best of the three but we would rate it 6 out of 10 (good amount of rice and chicken). The ribs were tough. The asian fusion style ramen was beautifully presented but should not be called ramen. The rice noodles are not meant to be in ramen. The broth was hard to taste or detect since there was so little of it. The pork was tender but so salty that it was not edible. It seemed like the chef was trying to mesh together a Vietnamese rice vermicelli bowl with the concept of ramen but it was not executed well.

Shrimp po boy and ramen bowl

We stopped here for dinner last night after a day at the park. The [grilled] shrimp po boy was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had in my life. Not sure how much more descriptive I can get than that. It was a work of art. My wife had a ramen bowl that was equally delicious. Driving a few miles out of Gardiner to find this place was the best decision we made on our trip. Very friendly service, too. We will be frequenting this place every time we come back for a Yellowstone visit.

Sautéed Pork Stomach with Pickled Vegetables 酸菜炒豬肚: A very typical Hakka dish, everything was authentic except for the lack of a mild spiciness. The pickles was crisp, with just the right amount of sourness; the pork stomach had no gamey smell and was stir-fried until crisp and tender; the sauce was evenly coated on the ingredients, showing skill. The red and green peppers were basically just for color. Poach Fish Fillet水煮魚: A completely inauthentic and Cantonese version of shuizhuyu (poach fish fillet), which displeased my friend who is originally from Sichuan. But personally, I thought the fish was very tender and quite fragrant! Both dishes were very good with rice; I had to ask for more. However, it must be pointed out that the fees at this restaurant are not very clear. Taxes and the 15% tip are calculated manually, and there is no electronic bill. He didn't act like it was unusual, but offered to swap it out for another burger at our request. I wish I would've taken photo of it, because it was comical. Especially next to the huge burger and huge turkey club sandwiches they were bringing out. There were a LOT of flies and bees around our table constantly. All other tables had one of those fly fans on them, but we didn't get one. The flies were abundant and annoying. This was the first meal we've eaten at Big Sky, so I can't say whether or not we would return. Perhaps at dinner. It has a great reputation. But I wouldn't order the steak sandwich again.
