My wife and I were looking forward to this place opening and came in right after they did. We knew they had a food truck and heard they were really good, so we had high expectations. The parking lot has plenty of space and the location is great for us, since we live in Severance. We walked in and found several fun and tasty-looking options. I saw that they make donuts in the morning and plan to give that a shot at some point. We ordered the Nashville Hot chicken sandwiches and each got a side - the mac and cheese and the potatoes. The chicken tasted really good, but the portion was pretty disappointing! I think there was more bun than chicken and the price was not low enough to make up for that. The mac and cheese was just okay and the potatoes were really good. I imagine that if I came again and tried something different I might have a better experience, but I don't feel like rushing back. I thought that the seating situation could have been a little larger since it was packed out and people were standing around waiting for others to get up so they could sit down. I can't say that I'm recommending this place quite yet, but I might be in for a donut and see what all that fuss is about. read more

Love this place. It's comfort food with healthy, foodie touches. Their main deal is chicken, including chicken sandwiches, fried chicken, and wings. I had the Dirty Bird sandwich with fried dark meat. It was uniquely delicious, probably because of their brine/marinade. My companion had their two-piece fried chicken which was also great. Our sides were tasty as well - even their waffle fries are far above average. They also have donuts, stuffed croissants, coffee, salads and a kids meal menu. We'll definitely be back to try all of those! Tip: chicken sandwiches can also come with a grilled chicken breast instead of the fried thigh meat. read more

So, I've wanted to try this place ever since it opened. I waited and waited because I have huge expectations with restaurants and I absolutely hate being disappointed. Last night we ordered it by phone and picked it up. I practically ordered one of everything including the doughnuts. Let me just say....I wasn't disappointed one bit! I absolutely loved everything! 1) chicken was perfection. 2) mashed potatoes were delicious!( order the gravy separate though.) 3) the peach arugula salad was amazing! 4) The Mac & cheese was spot on! 5) Biscuits were great! 6) the doughnuts were.....well, I've never met a doughnut that I didn't love! 7) waffle fries were even delicious! The price was a bit on the high side, but I don't care, it was worth every cent! Everything is locally sourced. My only suggestion would be to have a few more healthier sides like coleslaw etc. All in all, I'd give this place a 9.9 out of 10! I'll totally support this place! read more

We've eaten here many times for brunch and lunch. It's always delicious and the customer service is awesome. Today, during the breakfast hour, the kindly accommodated my order when I ordered a lunch item not realizing they weren't available yet. We ordered to-go and I didn't realize my side order hadn't made it into the bag. Matt quickly called when they noticed the mistake, offered to bring the side out to the car and even made it right by giving us some biscuits as an apology. Being that I worked in the service and food industry for a while, they did everything right today and I was overly pleased. Can't wait for our next outing here! read more

Went today for lunch. I tried the dark meat fried chicken. It was pretty good and had a unique sweetness. My only issue is that for a leg and a thigh with no sides was $7. The brussel sprouts ($3) had bacon and were a little mushy. Mash potatoes without gravy (nuff said) also cost $3. They both tasted good, but the serving size was a little small. The drink machine was from a non-coke or pepsi vendor. Soda was bland and not cheap. One person got the plant based burger and he said it was good. Since he does not eat meat, it was a good addition to the menu. He said the brioche bun was excellent. He also got their waffle fries with a garlic sauce. They loved them. Big portion for $5. The last person got the Chicken Sandwich that was called a BLT. Thought the chicken thigh was excellent and the tomato and lettuce were very good. Over all was a little pricey for lunch, but all of the food was good quality. read more

Oh my gosh. My husband said he had eaten the best chicken sandwich of his life. And I am thinking what can be so awesome. He never, let me repeat never eats the same thing twice in one day. He had it for lunch and asked me to pick it up again for dinner. My curiosity was over the top. He got the chicken or the egg and I got the bacon jam, avocado, tomato, lettuce. We tried the waffle fries and the mashed potatoes. I'm with him, amazing! So delicious. Quality ingredients, excellent service, we will be back! I have a few food rules. No mushroom based cuisine. No wacko food fusions (ex: the Mexican/Italian joint in Montrose, CO). And don't show up to a new restaurant in the first few weeks. HOWEVER, I don't always listen to myself, which is how I dragged my wife to the Timnath poultry pimps at Backyard Bird. The space: utilitarian, kind of small, needs help IMHO. The people: the employees were nice, tried to be helpful. Other patrons were . . . Timnathesque. Make of that what you will. The food: I think there is potential here fer shurr, but wife's chicken was burned, even under breading. The mashed potatoes - chip crumble is a neat idea but maybe put it in a side ramekin and let the customer add at leisure. Otherwise, the steam makes them mushy. I enjoyed my Nashville chicken sandwich but the bun lasted less than halfway thru the chicken. The molasses butter needs refinement. The Brussels Sprouts w/ bacon were alright - I feel they need an acid (balsamic or lemon?) And the biscuits were dry, dry dry. Wife also got shorted on cardamom donut holes. Prices are fine, we tried a lot of things. Verdict: I think we will be back, or maybe get it to go. read more

Small restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. BEST fried chicken I've ever had! this quality fried chicken has an exceptional taste from it's marinade and brine. The coating is crisp and light, this is not the chain restaurants heavy, greasy fare. The coating has a mildly sweet flavor, from the local honey added. This gives a darker color than what I've seen before. I'm old enough to come from a time when everyone fried chicken at home, and this is the best fried chicken I've ever had. The food was delicious. We got dinner one day and you can't go wrong with any of the sandwiches. I went twice to get the donut ice cream sandwich. The first time I was told the donuts are only available on the weekend. I went back in a Sunday and asked for the donut ice cream sandwich. The girl told me they didn't have such an item. I pointed to it on the menu and said I saw it online. She said we have ice cream and donuts but I can't make that. I understand covid is happening but I was disappointed. Super disappointing. I tried the Cherry filled yogurt glazed donut, and the bacon jam cheese croissant. The croissant was very dry and seemed like it was from the day before, I tried a few of their sauces along with it which were weird. The garlic aioli tasted super sweet, and the ram sauce just tasted like ketchup basically. The cherry filled donut was a long thin donut, and the cherry filling only went about 1 inch in and out of about five or six. Not to mention that the donut itself also was dry and just tasted like sugar. It didn't have a good flavor at all, and the texture wasn't good either. The cherry filling tasted like it wasn't homemade. I only went to the place because I'm visiting from California, I drove past it and it looked interesting, but it was super disappointing. To top it all off, the croissant was $7 and the donut was $3.50. It was almost $12 for two pastries which were super lackluster. I only gave two stars because the girl at the register was very nice. read more

The kids menu is also something a little different with my grandchildren asking to go back. We went this weekend and seriously best fried chicken I have ever had and I wanted to put my head under the house ranch sauce spigot and just pump it into my mouth. Please sell the ranch to go!!!
