Can't say enough about the repair work; the new equipment he chose; or the effort he put in to get things right. And at a very reasonable cost! We have had a long history of issues with our pool and no one has been able to truly resolve. Even replacing every possible piece of equipment did not yield positive results. I needed some minor pool work done and found Backyard Pool and Spa on Yelp. Jericho was very responsive and immediately got back to me a day and time he could do the work. When our pool heater stopped working it was Jericho to the rescue installing a new heater and hauling away the old one. We were getting a system error on the heater So I texted Jericho and he was at the house within an hour working on fixing it. I am a senior citizen and this is one of the top companies I have ever dealt with!! Jericho came out and gave me a free estimate. Our spa had been out of commission for about five years. The heater had rusted out and everything else was in poor condition. Several companies came out and said they wouldn't even bother with this work. Finally, one company recommended Backyard Pool & Spa Service. They said Jericho was a magician and if anyone could fix the spa it was him. Well, they were right. He came out and gave a free estimate and said he could do the job. Also, he noticed a gas smell and conscientiously just turned off the gas valve that we didn't realize was open. His price was very reasonable and fair. Jericho worked us in immediately to his schedule even though he had a full workload already. Well, he was a magician, our spa is now working thanks to the efforts of Jericho and his children. His work was simply outstanding!! This last summer I was referred to Jericho with Backyard Pool & Spa to help with a pump and filter upgrade along with my gross green swamp forming in my backyard. Jericho was very busy as the summer months usually are, but offered to help as my husband was working overtime on the San Diego wildfires. He was helpful in recommending equipment that was in my price range and worked with the existing layout. He also worked with me as I was on a tight budget and I offered to be his support staff to make the job go faster. We never realized that one day soon we would be able to see our pool bottom and that the water would be so clear and clean that we can see our reflection in it and actually want to swim in it. Gone are the days when all we wanted to do after looking at the pool is get a hose and wet ourselves because we wouldn't swim in it. This attitude towards our pool changed one month when my daughter decided to call a new pool cleaning company. They came straight over and inspected the pool, after which they gave us some information and even inspected and clean our pool components. Our pool has been crystal clear now and is regularly cleaned especially during the summer. Anytime we need to clean the pool for usage, we called them. They are exceptional at their services and are very professional, organised and reliable. I could never use another company as this company offer us such wonderful services. We are blessed to be able to truly enjoy our pool in all its loveliness. I recommend them wholeheartedly for their stellar work.
