Food was great with a good beer selection but service was TERRIBLE... After walking in and sitting down at a table it took about 10 minutes for a bar back to come over and bring water and we asked if we could order with him but he said no but he would try to find a server to send over.. 15 minutes later the table next to us who sat down just after we did asked if there were actually anyone working here I said I didn't know because I hadn't seen a server yet so they went up to the bar to order drinks. Eventually the server came over, we ordered dinner and drinks, she then came over once to drop off the drinks and that was the only time we saw her until I went and found her to get the check (someone else dropped off the food) Like I said the food and beer selection were great and so was the atmosphere so I hope they get their stuff together because I would like for this place to last. read more

I decided to try this place after finding it on Yelp. The decor is modern, updated and clean. My group of friends and I unfortunately had an encounter with a really rude waitress named Stephanie....but if you can avoid her you'll be fine! We got to enjoy a spring training baseball game on the many TVs that they have- I'm sure they always have the biggest games showing- all while enjoying a cold one and crunchy chicken wings, for half the price of the stadium. Walked into the patio Entrance and decided to stay for lunch and a beer.. Glad I did, and will be back again.. Sweet Potato fries were ok, not as "homemade" as I like from other places, but it cured that craving.. Was feeling on healthy side so got the Smoked Chicken Club Diablo Style... If our group could give this place 6 stars we would!! Definetly a must stop bar to catch any sporting event on one of their many TVs and to catch a bite to eat. They have plenty of room with indoor seating and outdoor as well. We all ordered different food and not one person had a bad thing to say about any of their entrees...their french fries are the best!! Bartenders are honestly the sweetest and best servers we've had in any bar we visited in Scottsdale. Can't wait to visit again and stop at backyards. Disappointing food, had the brisket sandwich, the bun it was on seemed like Walmart great quality bread, the brisket was more fat than meat, the sauce wasn't anything special in the least bit. We never got refills on our water which for having I think only 10 other people at the max in the restaurant is quite surprising. I'm usually not upset about spending money on food but I didn't finish my sandwich and I pissed I spent $18 there. Won't go back. Also didn't think you could smoke in outdoor covered patios and a lady sparked one right up and filled the area. I'm so happy we found this little slice of heaven. Been in Scottsdale for a while searching for a great sports bar, and this place checked all the boxed. It was clean, great food, amazing atmosphere, and plenty of TVs so you'll never have to strain your neck. Ordered pasta (don't ask me why) and it was very good. We are always searching for dog friendly restaurants. This is by far my favorite to date. Amazing patio with misters (kept the cement very cool, but not wet so our pup could relax comfortably) and large screen TVs to watch the game. Lots of shade....we were absolutely thrilled with how comfortable it was even though it was 105 degrees outside!! We would recommend this place to all dog(or not) people!! By far one of my favorite bars in the valley! I've been coming here to watch football games with the family and it seems like each week there is something improved. Pretty sure the patio has brand new televisions along with new tables and chairs. We've always enjoyed the food and the owner is friendly and accommodating to any requests for games we'd like to watch. Tons of televisions so getting a good seat has never been a problem. I've written one review on this bar in the past but I feel likes it's only fair to update every once in a while, especially when things are only getting better. Very disappointed!! So much so that I have to leave a review! We thought we would try something new after leaving the aquarium seeing good reviews but oh boy, bad choice!! The food was very disappointing and our server took a very long time to even take our order and there were only a few people there and they were at the bar. We ordered several appetizers which one was the soft pretzel, just ok, barely any salt, very greasy and the cheese was gross. My kids hated their food. I didn't blame them. The little one got the kids mac and cheese and spit out the first and only bite, it seemed like it was made with the same gross cheese from the pretzel. My older son ordered the chicken strips appetizer. He also only ate one bite. Over cooked and more breading than chicken. The other things we ordered were just ok. Chicken salad, chips and salsa and fried pickles. What really bugs me is that they didn't do anything for us on the bill for the kids meals that had 1 bite eaten and a few fries. So technically we paid $20 for a handful of fries. She offered to get us something else but with the 6 dishes on the table and none of them very good, we really didn't want anything else. She also offered a togo box for them, I'm sorry but if we aren't going to eat them there why would we eat them at home.?? I am a server and there is NO way I would let my customers pay for that. $20!!! For a handful of fries! Also our server was very nice until we said the kids didn't like their food then we got a not so nice demeanor. So for just under $100 with tip we got a few beers and some crappy food! I'll start this review with that I've been coming to this place under many different names. They all were sub par but at least you could get a beer, watch a game without dealing with their staff complaining about nearly everything. Location was always the problem before but now there are plenty of commercial spaces being built. The problem now is ownership/ lack of management. Rich "kid" who must have some money cause he makes a point of parking his Cadillac CTS out front but the bar is struggling. Just watch the waitstaff, or if you have the displeasure of sitting at the bar you'll hear it. Owning a bar is difficult, and they did a beautiful remodel but as a person that has managed many bars in the valley, keeping the staff happy keeps the door opening.
