The thick cuts of bacon on our food was really good. I ordered a Turkey supreme and substituted my torta roll for sliced sour dough. Ok, I told you I would not give up on this place cuz I love it so much. yesterday we went there and I ordered the frittata I want to try something different every time I come in. Came in on Memorial Day. There was a party of 3 ahead of us. Around 1230. They were advised of a 15-20 min wait for outside seating but they decided to leave. We were next and within 5 mins we were seated indoors. The place was super busy but that's a sign that the food is awesome but it's a trade. Good food for a little wait isn't bad. The food took long to get to us but Again it's understandable with the full capacity they were operating on. Good thing I had a bloody Mary and mimosas and beers to keep going as we wait. I'm all for mom and pops places. I always think local. Summary is we waited 40 mins for the food to be on the table but the waitress were super nice. & common it's as busy as it gets anywhere on Memorial Day so . The food was tasty and the honeybee bacon was out of this world. They have really cool painting setting the ambience pretty nice all around. Love it! We were looking for a non-chain breakfast spot and found Bacon thanks to some other reviews. They had a very cute outdoor set up that reminded me of a little cafe. The inside had a very different vibe, with rich cherrywood tables and decor. The staff was incredibly nice, and there were plenty of options for breakfast. I chose the California frittata. It was delicious, although the avocado was cooked inside and I am not a fan of cooked avocado. As the restaurant name would suggest, definitely make sure you try their bacon! I had the honeybee frittata, where thick chunks of sweet and salty bacon were scrambled within the eggs. Loved this order so much that I was so close to ordering the honeybee bacon as a side all on its own! Homemade jams are on the table to enjoy for free, which is perfect if your order comes with sides of bread. Classic flavors too -- strawberry, blueberry, blackberry, apricot, and marmalade.
