While we like food at Dog Haus, the food from Bad Ass Breakfast Burrito was somewhat of a miss for us. First, the food. We ordered for takeout and I got the Haus Burrito. Sounds way more interesting in the description than what it really is. The burrito was pretty light, and each bite was mostly tortilla and egg. Whoever wrapped it definitely left a lot of space. At the same time, they used a ton of spicy mayo - and don't get me wrong I do love spicy mayo - but this was a lot and it just made the whole burrito taste like grease and oil (and tortilla, of course). Second, the service. I'm sure David can vouch too but the past two times we have visited have been negative experiences with their staff. On a prior occasion, when we got to the counter before even saying anything, the person at the register told us it would be a 2.5 hour wait for our food. So we said ok and started to leave. However, just before we got out the door David noticed that two other guys got to the counter and the same girl at the register asked them what they wanted and took their orders right away. Okay cool. The next time (for the breakfast burrito), David said he was not greeted by anyone when he got to the counter, the staff brought him his order and that was it. However, when a different (presumably Caucasian) male walked up to the counter, he was greeted right away and the staff proceeded to give him an explanation of the menu. Was not a fan of my Bronco burrito. Pretty much all egg and tots, with bits and pieces of bacon somewhere in the burrito. I'd honestly say there was probably only one slice of bacon in my burrito. Where's the meat?! No kick at all from the pickled jalapeños. It was somewhat cheesy, though (comes with white american cheese and cotija cheese). We ordered the little Mule and Beyond California Burrito. We took a bite of both and they were good. So why the 2 star review then? The Little Mule did not have bacon (main ingredient) and the Beyond California had no actual beyond sausage (main ingredient) either. Let me make it clear. Bad Ass Burrito was good. Wanted to try this place since I had tried Dog Haus. I ordered the Bronco Burrito (without bacon), Chachi Burrito, sweet potato fries, onion rings, limited time Mr. Miyagi, and the White Chocolate Macadamia Cookie. Entree's: Bronco Burrito: usually comes with bacon but I took it out because I, personally, do not like bacon. Anyways, minus the bacon, the burrito itself tasted really good. I was somewhat shocked because I wasn't a fan of Dog Haus. Chachi Burrito: was good but I don't know if I would order this because I didn't like the filling. If you like your meats, then you may like this. It had a few different types of meats in it. Sides: Sweet potato fries: how can you mess up on these? They were good! Nothing bad to say about this. Onion Rings: I wasn't a fan of these because they tasted like plain chips with no onion inside. The onion to batter ratio wasn't there. Wish there were more of that crunchy onion taste vs the chip texture Dessert: White Chocolate Macadamia Cookie: Was very soft. Only feedback on these is that the chocolate chunks were way to huge, it kind of took over the cookie while the nuts were the right amount. Was a good cookie though. LIMITED TIME: Mr. Miyagi Included: Deep fried all beef dog, carmelized onions, mayo teriyaki sauce, tempura crumbles and wasabi furikake, and served on grilled king's Hawaiian rolls. I don't really like hot dogs in general but I had an open mind to trying this. The beef dog wasn't that bad but the stuff on top i wasn't a fan of. It tasted weird. I don't think I would get this again if they were to bring it back. Everything was a good experience. Glad i tried it. You will feel VERY FULL afterwards. We ordered one with scrambled eggs and the other over easy, but couldn't tell the difference looking at them. If you're picky about how your eggs are cooked, this might not be the place to go. Was so damn confused when I plugged in the GPS and couldn't find this place, after ordering on Uber Eats pickup. This seems to be a ghost kitchen at pretty much every Dog Haus across the country. Tortilla aside, pretty much assembling solid breakfast burritos using the same ingredients in the main stock. Surprisingly there were multiple options outside the box including Italian sausage and pastrami, and not just phoning in X+egg+cheese. Even goes as far as having an Impossible meat option! They were all pretty heavy and could easily be split over a couple meals. That being said, $13+ per burrito is kind of a commitment. I mean it's solid but not the best I've ever had. At the time of writing, the classic Haus burrito is buy-1-get-1, which makes it probably one of the best breakfast options period. Don't think it's my go-to every time, but a solid addition to rotation of breakfast options. read more

Overall you can't go wrong with the entire menu as it's all breakfast burritos with a variety of meats and veggies. My boyfriend and I were craving a breakfast burrito and came across this place on Yelp. It's located in the Kentlands inside Dog Haus. I got the sausage burrito which had sausage, eggs, caramelized onions, tater tots and spicy mayo. The wrap was huge and very yummy!!! I was only able to eat half of it because it was so filling. It was a tad bit too salty for my liking. I had to down a lot of water. I also wished they had pressed the burrito so that the tortilla was warm and crispy. OK! This spot got my interest with their selections. They are in Kentlands with he hot dog place and it was an interesting take on a breakfast burrito. Very fulfilling and by no means light for the start of your day. It is more of a spot where you are craving something hearty and hefty for breakfast that is normally for lunch. I do like their unique offerings and it makes me want to come back for me. I am just curious as to each of their menu items. Luckily, they are not too far out from me and their take out process is locked down - well it has been a year since the lockdown. The area is not very accessible with parking, but if you are willing to park a little further away, then you should have no problem even on a Saturday night. Just walk here and grab your food and go. What I really like from this place is the interior. I like that modern rustic feel and look and with their multiple TVs, it is more like a sports bar. This place is just the absolute worst. I've ordered from here probably a grand total of 10 times. And in all honesty, there was an issue with 9 of those orders ranging from minor to major. I guess the joke is really on me at this point. I really wanted to love this place because they have a unique, awesome when done right, product that you cannot get in this area. But to screw up something 90% of the time is unconscionable. There's been times where they left out condiments, I had to wait an obscenely long time, didn't cook the egg as specified (or at all), skimped on the ingredients, or allowed other people to grab my order. Today I didn't get my order because the Uber driver said someone else picked it up. This place is just on a whole other level of careless. MANAGEMENT!!! MANAGE!!! Wow! Saw some reviews for this place and decided to give it a try this morning! I'm glad I did. There were lots of takeout orders but this place is definitely open for indoor and outdoor dining. I plan to return to dine in with some friends soon. I decided on the Chachi burrito that has eggs, Italian sausage, pastrami, white American cheese, tator tots, and spicy Mayo. The spicy Mayo and hot sauce served on the side was delicious as well. So delicious I saved the extra sauce to use later tonight for my dinner. Dog Haus is the name of this place - not Bad Ass Breakfast Burrito if you are looking to come here from the outside. Be prepared for all the flies that are flying around on the inside of the restaurant. They did know this and they did state they have fly traps which my eyes did not see any fly traps at all.
