Have not been to Bad Boy since there opening weekend. Poor then, but chalked it up to working the kinks out. Thought to give it another try and ordered the "Bad Boy Burger". Should have been the "Tons of Mustard Burger" as that was exactly what I received. After three bites, it was so bad I gave up. A little would be fine and I knew it was on the burger before ordering it, or I would have omitted it when ordering. The entire inside of the burger was yellow from just how much they put in. My husband was getting his MS infusion down the road from Bad Boy Burger so we decided to grab lunch from this joint today. He used to frequent this joint when it was off of Fairview so he knew what kind of service and food to expect. It was my first time so I was excited to see what they had to offer. Walking in, the place was bright and clean. I headed to the counter and this sweet gal greeted me. I got my husband his usual which is a grilled ham and cheese sammy. I ordered a bunless double cheeseburger with jalapenos and grilled onions. Of course I got a side of fries and a vanilla shake to go with my husband's sammy. You gotta have fries with a burger! Since I recently got my new kidney, I have to be really careful with utensils, condiments and lids that are communal. I have to be so careful with germs that could possibly be on these common items. I told the sweet gal behind the counter about my new kidney. The gal was sweet and let me grab what I needed out of the boxes behind the counter that no one had access to. I appreciate that she was understanding and kind about my safety. Didn't question it one bit! I got my utensils, ketchup packets and napkins. My burger was so tasty! I was only able to finish half of it. So, next time I will definitely just get a single patty. There was plenty of cheese, jalapenos and grilled onions. The fries were hot, salty and crispy. I did enjoy the soggier fries, the soggy ones are my favorite. The fry sauce and ranch were both great dipping sauces for the fries. My husband did not share one sip of that vanilla shake and he finished the whole thing. I'll take that as a great shake! From the service to the food, everything was great! I appreciate the gal behind the counter for being so kind and considerate about my health needs when she didn't have to. The fries and burger that I had was killer! I say that ranch was some of the best I have had. We are never really on that end of town but if we are, I know where we will be eating! We got the Friday special- cheeseburger with fries and a drink. Honestly, it looks questionable but it wasn't horrible to eat. A typical greasy cheeseburger. The bun was a bit disproportioned and more "delicate" I guess you could say so it broke apart easily. This comes to preference but I thought the fries were cut too thick and wish they were crispier. The whole staff are young, probably in their teens. When we walked in, you can tell it was more of a young highschool service vibes. They were nice though and got the job done. They kept the place clean and efficient. If you want a decent typical burger, fries and shakes, this will do. read more

This is a new location for Bad Boy Burgers. I definitely recommend checking out the weekly specials as you can get a good value meal. Plenty of seat and the area is quiet at night so good amount of parking should always be available. Food is typical burger joint. read more

Bad Boy Burgers used to have a good reputation but since they've scattered around the valley, I'm not so sure. They just opened a new location on Overland in Meridian which is convenient. I was looking forward to the finger steak basket but all I ended up with was finger steaks. And not the good ones. If you know finger steaks, you know the difference. I love supporting new local businesses, so I was excited when they opened a week ago. The place looks great inside, although I hope they will fill up the blank wall space eventually. I went at 10:30am for a burger, so not surprised there was no one there. I only ordered a cheeseburger for $7.99. For me, the burger was good. Not piping hot like I expected hot off the grill...bun, toppings were great. A couple things just to give feedback. I specifically ordered only a cheeseburger. Great, they can do that. However, I feel they should have suggested french fries, or touted their amazing onion rings, or even a beverage. They didn't (and I think he was the owner or at least the manager). I was eating in, but got my burger brought to my table in a bag with NO NAPKINS! If you are getting a BAD BOY, you will need napkins. I hope they are providing them in the drive thru. The napkins they have are the bottom of the barrel kind, where you need 20 because they are thinner than tissue. I hate that. The food is good, had a bad experience today walked in ordered our food and our order was given to another Family, which seemed to be family members of the owner they where prompted to fix the issue but then received 2 plain burgers instead of what we ordered(Bacon Cheese Burger) Seemed to be more interested in serving their family members instead. I came here with my boyfriend for dinner and the food was great. The service was great we got helped quickly.I got the cheeseburger combo with onion rings. The burger was really good, it was simple and didn't need any dipping sauces. The bun was good and didn't fall apart. The meat was like a smashed patty which was great. The onion rings were good, I personally like them a little sweeter but they were still a 10. The onion rings are crunchy and you don't take out the whole onion in the first bite. My boyfriend had the fries and they were really good. They had the right amount of salt. The fry sauce was really good and wasn't too liquidy. I would give 3.5 stars if I could.... Let's start with Service- A+ Talk about some friendly young people. Genuinely friendly. The guy that took my order and the girl at the pick up window were both very nice. I said thank you and she said "no thank YOU" which was nice. Usually I get nothing back when I say thank you at a fast food place. Fries- A+ BANGIN fries. Full stop. Fluffy on the inside, golden brown with a nice crisp on the outside, lightly salted. Perfect. Only downside is they only come in one size which is substantial and I would have rather had a small. But we're splitting hairs here so I move on. Burger (not pictured)- C This has got to be the flattest burger I've ever seen. If they are really all this squished flat they need to be made famous for it. Like call it "world's flattest burger" and make a thing out of it. Sorry no picture. The burger was the property of my fifteen year old and he did not ask if I was taking pictures before he fit half of it in his face. His take on it? "Pretty flat. Not greasy. Not bad. Not amazing". Patty Melt - B- I looooove a good patty melt. This one was ok. Props to them for using real marbled rye. The bread had the texture of being frozen at some point. I get it...not many people order patty melts on rye. It comes with American cheese (yuck) so I subbed for Swiss. Turns out the Swiss was the processed kind (also yuck) so points lost for cheese. I did appreciate that they used diced onions rather than sliced as that can be tricky when you take a bite and the slice of onion flaps down your chin so points earned for the onion dicing. When I make patty melts at home I make a zesty thousand island sauce or even a bit of horseradish sauce. This had neither, maybe some mayo (same color as processed Swiss cheese so hard to tell) and so in that regard the sandwich flavor profile was a bit underwhelming other than the rye. Menu was robust; something for everyone in the house or car. Will be going back to try a milkshake one of these days to dip the bangin fries in. read more

I don't know what was worst the uncooked red meat burger or the endless grease on the fries. Honestly this is the worst food place for burgers. Love the Boise location, but I'm not sure about the Meridian location. The prices seem higher, and the cashier's don't offer you sauces with your order. The restaurant looks very clean and the food is ready quickly. Last time I went, I ordered the colossal burger- it was pitiful and hardly colossal . The chili cheese tots were good. I've had Bad Boy burgers at their other locations & they were pretty good so I really wanted to like this place. Their fries are lifeless at best. Their burgers are not that great in my opinion - they're diner burgers. We just tried the finger steaks & they're typical food service fare prepared in a hurry. The only thing I've had there that I really think is above average are the chicken nuggets, so I will probably end up trying a chicken sandwich next time. It's a local business not a national chain so I want them to succeed but it's just average at best so far. read more

I went thru the drive thru at the Meridian location. I ordered a garden burger combo. When I drove the 3 miles to my home and opened my bag I had a patty melt combo. Yuck. I dont eat meat so I was very disappointed. I called and the young lady told me they could give me a discount for next time. She said if I come back they would make my garden burger. Not thrilled that I had to go back, but I was hungry and just spent $15 for a burger and fries. When I got there i had to wait again. They didn't even give me fresh fries. The original fries were now cold and not edible. When she handed me the garden burger I asked about the discount for next time. She told me she meant I could get a discount for next time or they would remake the garden burger! In my opinion that is not good customer service. I've now waited twice, and driven a total of 12 miles for the wrong order and cold fries. The garden burger wasn't even good after all that. It was mushy and had so much sauce on it I could only take a couple of bites. I have been a long time customer of Bad Boy. No more. Im switching to BIG Jud's. read more
