This restaurant used to be our "go to" place when it opened 3 years ago. Over time the turnover has been ridiculous. The upfront hostesses are clueless and often there are 3 just standing there doing nothing- what a waste of money. Also, the servers seem upset and like the customers are a waste of time. The kitchen is incompetent, my children have been served raw/ pink tenders twice. My made to order salad is never correct, and twice my husband hasn't even received his food. Management never deals with issues as well, it's like they don't want confrontation. If this establishment doesn't improve I have no clue how it will continue to stay open. read more

I wish I could give Bad Daddy's a 10! We eat here about 1-2x a month and love it! We've had just about everything on the menu and love it all! We are a gluten sensitive family with a nut allergic child. Every time we eat here we infirm the server, and every time we receive the same information ("the oil fries products made with gluten, and wine salads are prepared with nuts"). As the mom to an allergic kiddo, the consistency in receiving the same information is refreshing! I know that everyone in that kitchen knows the safest way to prepare our meals. The manager is so sweet to stop by our table each time to see how we're doing and catch up. It really adds a personal touch that she remembers us :-) The food here is always fresh, deliciously seasoned, and the milkshakes make the perfect dessert to go. Sooo good. The burgers and staff are both amazing. We came in on a weekend afternoon and waited about twenty minutes to be seated. Worth the wait for sure. Make sure you try their buttermilk fried bacon and their bad daddy sauce. It is a little more expensive than a Five Guys or a Smashburger but you get what you pay for in my opinion. GREAT, GREAT GREAT!!!!! Food was hot, burgers and hot dogs were phenomenal. My 6 year old ate two hotdogs he loved them so much!! We ordered one Bad Ass Burger & one Bacon Cheeseburger on steroids! One kids slider & one kids hot dog meals. We even went in about 45 minutes before closing & we were still taken care of. No one tried to rushed us out or bother us. My son and I went there for lunch and it was a fantastic meal !!!! and even better service. The chipotle sauce for dipping your french fries is amazing and the cheese burger on steroids was perfect, my son had the chicken tenders and the honey mustard sauce was the best I have tasted. I don't often write a rave review as I don't often find places to rave about. Bad Daddy's at Southlands is a true exception - thus, let me rave. The drink menu includes a generous offering of grown-up beverages from delicious & unique cocktails to beers which will tantalize the palate of a brew connoisseur. My favorite: Mercenary Stout by Odell. The Apricot Ale is very nice, too. The food menu is short & sweet but by no means ordinary or boring. Even your standard sandwiches have a touch of something different, making them pop out from what you see elsewhere. After appetizers, you can build your own burger, build your own salad or choose from a selection of great concoctions from the kitchen. I absolutely LOVE the Sam I Am burger, featuring a juicy beef patty, American cheese, slice of ham, pesto (yeah, yummy pesto!) and a fried egg, done perfectly so the yolk runs out when you sink you teeth into it. This is my second visit and Bad Daddy's seems quite consistent. They're my new fav. I asked if we could be seated inside and they said it would be at least a 30 minute wait. So we opted to sit outside. We got here during happy hour. Fried pickles for 3 bucks, pretty good. Got drinks. I got the Bad Margarita (limit 2). Very good. The drinks here are very very good. Burgers. Very great. I got the pastrami Reuben burger with green chile fries. Absolutely excellent. I've been trying to find a good burger place and so we went there last night based on the menu and Yelp reviews. The Green Chili Cheese Tots had about a tablespoon of green chili and un-melted cheese on the center only, the rest was just plain tots. When I asked for Tabasco, I was told they only carry Frank's Redhot and Siracha for hot sauces. I built my own burger and paid upcharges for guacamole and jalapeno bacon. The guacamole was spread so thin you could see the bun and the jalapeno bacon was just like regular bacon so don't waste your money. They have several different kinds of unique mayos but the flavor I chose (Poblano pepper) was so overwhelming that I couldn't taste anything else but that. They are also part of the new trend of using shoe string French fries, which, personally, I don't care for. The one good thing was the margarita. Besides the issues with the food, the waitress wasn't all that friendly, the acoustics are bad, they play classic rock, the parking is a pain, and my stomach was tore up! Love, love, love Bad Daddy's! We come here every time we come to Denver. We have been to other Bad Daddy's but our favorite is the one in Southlands. Their prices are very responsible. We usually get salad. They have note pads at the table and you pick what you want. You get various kinds of greens, protein, dressing, fruit, crunches, and 4 veggies. You can add more of anything for additional prices. You can also do this for the burgers. Great place for families. Their decor is records, movie posters, and pictures of rock legends. The staff always works hard and they take care of anything you need. During our trip this week we ate here 2 times! Can't wait for our next visit! read more

I love Bad Daddy's! Their burgers are HUGE so my husband and I usually split one and it is perfect! They have great milkshakes too and even do customized ones. My original review was when they first opened and it was great. You always expect flaws when a restaurant first opens and they were great, no issues at all. I've gone a few times in between then and now and it was always great. I went in after a couple months away last week. It was poor service and the food was even worse. My dates burger was not cooked to even a safe temperature, pickle chips were greasy and overcooked, the Pastrami Ruben burger was always the best and this time I thought the Pastrami was bacon as it was so overcooked and crispy. Stopped in before a movie. The service was courteous and friendly. We were seated right away which shouldn't be surprising given it was 4:30 on a Tuesday. There were 3 adults and a 1 year old. My husband and I ordered the I believe Magic Mushroom Burger and Bad Daddy Nachos to share. My son got the grilled cheese with fries. My Brother in Law ordered one of their other burgers ( I know not helpful). The Nachos are massive so order these for the table. They had an interesting flavor. Initially they were really good but then they started to leave a sweet aftertaste on your pallet. My husband and I assume it's from the Beet Cheese Queso? The mushroom and Swiss burger was superb with 3 types of mushrooms. My son's grilled cheese came on Texas toast which I was told was sour dough. He seemed pretty happy. We went on a Saturday night, it was busy but not over the top impossible. So not a reason for poor performance. This place advertises itself as a burger specialist. What a disappointment. We ordered bacon cheeseburgers, bacon was burnt and burger was way overdone, gray in color and flavorless. Parmesan Truffle fries lacked truffle taste and had almost no parmesan.
