I walked by this place over a dozen times before giving it a try. I was pleasantly surprised however by the uniqueness of the food and quality of staff. The burgers and appetizers are much better then your average American burger restaurant. Sarah, our waitress, was attentive and very helpful making recommendations for our first meal. Had high hopes from both web and family reviews, but this place went 0 for 2 with me. Definitely a creative menu with interesting flavor combinations that one wouldn't normally think to put together. However, both occasions I visited I was given burgers that were raw in the middle. The outer portions of the burger patties that were cooked weren't seasoned in any way - tasted like cooked ground beef right out of the package at the store. My son and I go on "date night" there every other Friday night. As a family, we go there at least 2 times a month. Last night, I ordered a burger that was a bit over cooked. The menu features a nice selection of burgers including the classic standards as well as some unique additions. I like the Pittsburgher (shoe string fries on top) and the Magic Mushroom is pretty good if you like sautéed mushrooms. They also offer a create-your-own options for both burgers and salads in case you can't find the particular type of item you're looking for on the menu. The happy hour deals are pretty decent if you can make it from 3-6 or 8-close. It's been about two months ago that I visited Bad Daddy Burger Bar to celebrate​ my birthday with some friends. We were pleasantly surprised at what a great customer service experience we had. They were able to accommodate everyone in our party with adequate seating. They did take awhile to seat us but they apologized and even adjusted our bill for our appetizers​. The waitress was friendly and patient with our group of 8. Our food was piping hot and majorly delicious with abundant cheese pull. And they were willing to let me bring in our bday cake. First time here and all I can say is that "burger with an attitude " is completely what I got! Went on Christmas Eve & was so excited to only be quoted a 20 minute wait for a party of 4. We waited outside until the cove between the doors cleared. While waiting we watched 4 other parties come in put their name on the list and walk out to wait. Once we were able to sit in the cove between the doors, another party came in decided to sit at the bar and went in. I noticed it had been just over 20 minutes so I went to check on our place in line and saw the iPad laying there with no hostess so I glanced and saw my name was top of the list! I was amazed on how well the quoted wait time was close to what I was told. I go sit back down with my party and a few minutes later I see one of the parties that checked in 10 minutes after us being called in for a table. They had 6 people on their party... as they walked in the group of teens were bragging about knowing someone so the wait wouldn't be as long as they were told. I brushed it off and continued waiting. Next I see the group that never checked in and decided to eat at the bar getting seated! At this point we had been waiting 40 minutes. I went in and asked the hostess what was going on and why the were seated without even being put on the list and she replied they had to accommodate a wheelchair. Ok I get that, but they were never on the list and even said the wheelchair would fit fine at the bar... she then says to me " if it makes you feel better you are on the top of the list" o advised her I had been on top of the list for 20 minutes and they have sat 2 other parties ahead of me so it doesn't make me feel better. I never got loud or yelled. I was Stern. I sat back down and she came to seat us. We were sat on the patio that only had 1 other table occupied. Then manager then came storming to my table to confront me because I was stern about my wait doubling and 2 other parties being sat before me. He yelled at me while I was seated at my table and attempted to degrade and attack me. He claims the hostess was a teen and that by being stern with her, I made her cry. I apologize to him as that was not my intention as I was just frustrated that we were not being seated but others were. He tried to justify this by saying he told them to slow down on seating as the kitchen was backed up. Ok fine, but it was not communicated. I attempted to ignore him as he seemed to not want to leave my table and let us eat in peace but he kept going on. It wasn't until my 17 year old told him " if my mom was yelling you would have heard her and if your hostess can't handle upset customers then maybe you should be up there to do so instead" this is when he finally stormed off. I thought the manager was coming over to apologize for the longer than expected wait time and instead he came over to attack me. The whole restaurant heard him and if wasn't for it being late and my family was starving I would have left. I paid $100 to be degraded and attacked by your manager. I am not in the business of guessing peoples ages and not as I willing to apologize for being stern and being ignored. If the hostess is going to give me attitude, I will give it back. Never again will I set foot in this establishment or the chain of them after the way this grungy manager treated me. read more
