So I had a DIY project in my backyard - a simple walkway that required digging. I did just that and my dumbass hit a water pipe. This was on a Sunday, so I looked up 24 hour plumbing services. Reached out to four businesses and only one was able to come out - J.B. Plumbing. They came through about an hour later and was able to cap off the pipe temporarily so I could have water for the rest of the day. I had two problems: a root clogged main sewer drain, and leaky drainage pipes. Armando did a serious diagnosis. He crawled underneath the house, found a leak and took pictures. Then he gave me a reasonable estimate for unclogging the sewer pipe. It was less than the previous plumbers were asking for just a diagnosis!! So of course I agreed. He did a very thorough job, running the high power drain cleaner twice all the way to the city sewer pipe. Odor and sewage backing up problem solved for the time being. He showed me the root problem by running a pro grade pipe cam down the drainage pipe. He also used a device to find the exact spot where the roots were growing into the pipe. read more

Great experience with JB Plumbing who I called at 10:15 PM on a Thursday for an awful backed up sewer drain clean out and they answered right away, then showed up exactly at 8 AM as scheduled the next morning. They snaked the backed-up drain, used a camera to show the progress and the root intrusion that would need hydro jetting to completely clear through ... via multiple clean out spots. Very thorough. My old water heater decided to start leaking from the bottom at 6 AM on a Saturday, so that was a fun way to wake up. I did research on yelp and found these guys had some of the best feedback in the area. When I called, the office staff was actually helpful and didn't give me a giant window of time where I'd have to sit around waiting. The installer arrived right on schedule and was really straightforward about what it would cost to just replace the whole unit rather than trying to patch an ancient tank. He got the new one in and running by the afternoon so we didn't even have to skip hot showers for the night. We had many issues with our toilet. We couldn't even flush pee. Called them told them our main issues. They came and found all the issues I was worried about. We never used them before. We were desperate to flush a toilet. They came snaked the main line and found my young daughter's under shirt in the main line. They came back with their team of 3 other mates. They cleaned our odd pipes and installed a new toilet and some pipes. It really came out cheaper then what I thought it was going to be. There was a horrible smell coming from my bathroom, on Easter. They came right away, and checked every area so carefully. They could've pretended that it was a plumbing problem, but they told me they could smell the difference and it was a dead animal. They were right. Excellent plumbers. We had a badly-dripping shower head which other plumbers tried but failed to resolve due to the water lines and stems in the wall being at an odd angle. These guys came promptly and were able to remove the badly-corroded old stems and put in new stems and new handles which I chose, solving the dripping problem. And she is a woman plumber which was nice to see. Unfortunately, after a couple of days, I found the new handles I'd chosen would not stay tightly screwed on, the center "H" and "C" markers kept popping out, and they were simply too large for the shower. I figured replacing them might be a problem, but they came out and changed them for a more practical set of handles quickly and easily with no extra charge. Most plumbers I've used would not have been this cooperative. All the work in two visits was done pleasantly and without a problem. The work solved the problem and was done without complaint in a friendly way, something other plumbers might learn from. read more
