Discovered we had MITES in the house that were biting me up non-stop so sent out a yelp blast for quotes. Got replies from at least 5 but Bobby was the first one able to come for an inspection that day (which was complimentary). He can be a bit abrupt over text but when we met him in person, he was very nice and professional. He gave us a great quote to bug bomb the house to get rid of the mites (with an all-natural cedar wood bug bomb), replace our foundation vents which had holes (suspected mice were living under there and the source of the mites), lay traps for the mice and power wash the house since it needed a good cleaning and would get rid of a lot of spider webs on the eaves. He came back a couple days later to get everything going and was on-time and explained everything. Another worker came back a couple days later to check on the traps and there were TWO MICE caught! Disposed of them and set new traps and came back again to check on those. Bottom line: I'm not getting bit by mites anymore, my house exterior looks clean and I was very satisfied with the work Bobby and his team did. We even signed up for the quarterly pest control service where they come once a quarter to spray around the house. We felt it was a reasonable price and would give us piece of mind in the future. They originally came out for a termite inspection while we were closing escrow and were very flexible and understanding while we coordinated with the seller to get access. Ultimately they tented our home which we knew was required and again, were incredibly flexible moving that appointment as our escrow got delayed one day at a time. I never thought I'd be writing a review for termite company but I am so amazed how professional these guys and I am so happy we ended up Giving them the job. I called 3 other companies and Hector from bad termite was very honest from what's needed to be done and the best thing to do. We had dry wood termites and I thought we had subterranean termite but when Hector inspected the house he said I only have dry wood and other types I saw where actually flying ants, other companies gave me a quote for subterranean too they didn't do a good job inspecting just wanted extra money. My house had a termite problem that was resolved before we purchased it. We have it inspected every couple of years to make sure we don't have the problem again. I messaged a few places for an inspection. All responded pretty timely, but Bad Termite gave me the best quote. They showed up on time for the inspection and was very responsive to all my messages. The inspection took just 30 min and they were very thorough and honest. I highly recommend them for their service and very reasonable rates. they came and did a spray for ants. $225 for exterior and one small interior on approx 2,400 sq foot, 2 level house. when we asked if they could come back about 2 weeks later b/c there were still ants, was quoted $175 to return. there is an outdoor sitting / deck area. the tech, when i asked if they could come back for a re-spray, said if the people ate and drank outside... then ants would return and there's nothing they can do about that. ok, that's reasonable. but it was all said so rudely and dismissively it was off putting and definitely made me cringe and made me wonder if i want to work with them again. people eat and drink outside on a deck area. that's what a deck area is for. the normal exterminator we've used for years is half the price, with a 30-day return for free additional spray if needed. we tried bad termite at the recommendation of a neighbor, bc we needed an ant spray sooner than later (rental property...) and they were immediately avail. at first i was happy to hear that, and they came the same day i called. in the end though, unfortunately was not impressed. i feel totally ripped paying twice the price too. i totally realize i am an outlier here, and wish i wasn't but that's how it went down. lesson learned. read more

We called Bad Termite to come out after I heard what sounded like mice running around in our attic. Bobby came out right away and confirmed my fears, we did have mice and most of the issue was actually in our crawl space. He was really easy to work with and gave us super reasonable pricing. I received three bids for this project and they outbid the other two companies, but what really finalized my decision was their superb level of service. I was never able to use these guys. We made an appointment, my wife stayed home well past an hour after they were supposed to show but they never showed up. Apparently they went to the wrong house, said they called me and my wife several times ( we received no missed calls). When I called to see what happened they said they would try and make it up and come to our house over the weekend or the following week and would call me back with an official re-appointment. They never called back. I cant say anything about their service but Termite Inspection was $85 which was a fair price. read more
