Called this company out for a termite check as I thought I saw some damage.... yup....we needed tenting fumigation and trenching in the crawl space under our home. Expensive but not something you can ignore so we booked in with TP for a 2 night fumigation with trenching the day after they took the tent down. While everyone in person and on the phone was friendly they were very disorganized and gave conflicting advice, which we found frustrating. We expected special bags for our fridge/freezer foodstuffs but none was given so we had to clear our appliance out completely. We were given different dates and times, and received phone calls telling us the crew were on the way earlier, a week beforehand, and on the day of fumigation, then they called back to say they made a mistake and it was the original time. Hence the frustration as we were dealing with a dog, and my daughter working from home and being in office. We asked the company to call me only as my daughter couldn't answer her phone when on stage/office, but they kept on calling her and expecting instant answers. We were also told we had to contact the gas company to arrange shut off and turn on, then we were told TP would be doing it, then we were told to call the gas company at the last minute. They really need to communicate within their own business and work out a timeframe for fumigation so they can provide a consistent front to customers. They kept the house tidy when going into the crawl space in one of our bedroom closets, but outside they tread mud all over the walkway down the side of the house while putting up the tent and I had to clean the pathway afterwards. read more

I am extremely happy with the work by Termite Pro. We found a definite termite breach in the kitchen of our house and called Termite Pro for an estimate. Vlad responded and came by in a day or so. He confirmed the kitchen problem and inspected the rest of the house where he found other evidence of termites, which he clearly showed us. He gave us an estimate to treat everything. Vlad was personable and detailed in his explanations and did not give us a hard sell at all. He answered all our questions and gave us a reasonable quote. I decided to get a quote from another company, but very quickly realized we were more comfortable with Termite Pro, so we called to schedule the work. Vlad suggested doing some additional preventative work under the house, digging trenches and treating for subterranean termites. We've had subterranean termite problems before, so I was OK to adding that to the job. Even though that increased the initial estimate by $800, it was still substantially less than the quote I received from the other company, for basically the same work. Overall, I thought it was a fair price. Sometimes when hiring contractors, the front man is very friendly but the crew that comes to do the work is not. This was not the case with Termite Pro. Jesse, Joseph and Luis came to do the work and they were all personable and easy to talk to. They explained everything they were going to do, why they were doing it and repeatedly asked if we had any questions throughout the time they were here. They worked efficiently and made sure to respect our house to avoid any damage. When finished, they went over the contract again to make sure we were happy. It was an easy and pleasant experience. I would definitely recommend Termite Pro for your pest control issues. They also offer a very generous 2-year warranty. We saw what looked like termite droppings by our front door so we contacted a couple of the highest reviewed companies on Yelp for an inspection. Jose from Termite Pro got back to me quickly and offered a free inspection. Arthur came out this morning and walked the perimeter, poked and prodded, examined the droppings, and even crawled under our house. He told me the droppings were actually from crickets and he did not see any signs of termites, which was a big relief. He recommended some sprays for the crickets and that was that! He was also very patient and kind in answering my questions. Other companies didn't have availability for over 1.5 weeks. They checked the entire perimeter and looked at where the visible (to us) termite dust was. My house in Rancho Palos Verdes had cracks in woods and paints peeled in many places. I had been suspicious of termite infestation and I called Termite Pro for inspection. They showed at the time they would come. Two gentlemen showed, Jose and Arthur. They asked on my concerns and one man inspected exterior around the house and another inspected inside the house, attic and garage. They were thorough taking their time for careful inspection. When they found one potential place of termite infestation, they looked at the area together. They concluded my house does not have termites, and instead all the cracking was due to water damage and as a result dry rots. When I asked i should pay for the inspection, they politely declined saying that it is free of charge even though they spent 30-40 minutes for the inspection. I felt they were very honest and professional. I felt it's not easy to work with professionals and honest people as far as termite inspection and treatments are related.
